Comments: Tan track can log onto your computer and fix your problem big or small. You don’t have figure out what they are talking about - they just log on and fix it at no extra charge.

Pros:

How easy this software is to use! Easy to teach other employees how to use it too! Reports on everything.

Cons:

Expensive and if you have problem they call you back instead of getting someone on the phone when you call. They do call back promptly.

Comments: I think they don’t really care about your company I think they’re doing just enough to get by and I’m seriously sick about how much I’ve spent on it.

Pros:

I love the software support I’ve enjoy talking to those guys and their help. They’re the only good thing about the company.

Cons:

They haven’t fixed any of the bugs there’s no way to see when a person signs up the client portal is absolute crap I’ve had nothing but problems

Worst software ever

Comments: Failures of this software have adversely impacted our business. I would never recommend this package to my worst enemy.

Pros:

The only pro is, as other reviews have said, is that the service team is friendly and responsive.

Cons:

I am a CPA with exposure to a wide range of software across industries- and this is by far the worst software I have ever dealt with. As I said, the service team is great. The problem is that I literally have to call them every single day, most days more than once and usually with the same problems. At their recommendation, I have replaced our computed and every wire and piece of equipment. Each day, it is some other reason that the software is failing. I'll tell you the real reason- the software stinks.

Disappointed to say the least

Comments: I have had noting but issues with the cost and charges. In addition to charging to convert the original software (they gave me a deal, haha $100) they charged me $60 a month and I wasn't even able to use it for 3 months. I was also charge during the pandemic shut down even though it was clear that we were shut down and was told by the Sales rep, that I had to give a reopen date even though at the time WA state did not have a re-open date. Like many we are still only operating at 25 - 50%.
I decided to upgrade almost 3 months ago to take advantage of the online booking and back office since I do not have a office in my salon. I was charged $60 for my original plan in addition to upgraded charge 2 days later. I have yet to be credited that over charge. As stated before the reports have never been correct and I am unable to access anything from home. Basically I am paying extra for online booking, which is not worth the extra. I have found the tech support is very inconsiderate of your business needs and grossly underestimates how long things will take, causing the inability to open and make sales during business hours.
I have only dealt with one sales person and anytime I have had a billing concern; he states that he cannot do anything. He has to run it by the owner. Without management or the ability to take care of the customer on their own, this has created the current scenario: over charges, extra charges and under performance.

Pros:

Tan Track is easy to learn even for the most inept employees. They do update the software regularly as long as you are a monthly subscriber. (although you must initiate that you want this) Clients can book appointments online and this has freed up the phones; in our state you have to have an appointment and you have to call from your car before entering the salon.

Cons:

The integration from my previous software took 3 months and was never actually converted correctly. During that time I had to pay my monthly premium but was unable to use it. The back office is yet to work correctly( I updated over 2 months ago) and constantly logs me out and unable to pull reports. Unreliability would be my biggest issue. May not be compatible with current hardware creating undesired or anticipated costs. Only one merchant (world pay) was available at the time I got this software. They definitely had many hidden charges that I was not use to paying almost doubling my cost.

Stay away! Shady Business Practices

Comments: This is a very shady business. They will promise you the world to start and then hold your business hostage later on. They will do everything they can to force you into buying any add-on's from them and force you into using their monthly tech support. Do yourself a favor and stay far away!
