### "Complex (as required) but complicated and slow" — 2.0/5

> **Pros**: This software has wide ranging functions. It allows for storage of a lot of data about many aspects of a student's enrolment.

> **Cons**: The online web interface for inputting of registers is painfully slow, which wastes a lot of time in lessons where attendance has to be recorded for every seasion, for example, to comply with Tier 4 visa rules. This system is not, therefore, suitable for universities and it is a painful mistake that someone bought this system many many years ago and we have been stuck with it ever since. Timetabling interfacing was difficult so we have switched to a different system for that. Customer database interfacing was difficult so we have switched to another system for that. We continue to use this for student records, enrolment and assessments. In trying to achieve too much, it does these things in a difficult to use, unintuitive way. Getting new staff to use this is difficult as a result.
