If you're converting from Fixed Asset CS, give Asset Keeper Pro a miss. It won't convert much of anything and if you have a lot of assets, you are going to spend days and weeks adding groups, G/L accounts, etc. > > **Cons**: Now if this is a greenfield installation, I really like the program. It's pretty easy to set up clients, add assets, etc. Unfortunately the conversion from Fixed Asset CS is bare bare bones. The support people are really helpful even if you don't always like the answer. > > Overall I have to say that I am extremely disappointed in the product. I was advised that they had a great conversion from Fixed Asset CS and a lot of customers switched from that product. The conversion process is labor intensive just to get the data over to Asset Keeper Pro. But worse is yet to come. Once you get the data in there you have to recreate your asset groupings, assigned G/L accounts, etc. If you're starting from scratch it is a good product and definitely worth considering.
