User-friendly dashboard/report Tool

4.0 last year

Comments: Tableau is amazing software that has greatly aided our data analysis efforts. Tableau meets all of our needs for data analysis and dashboard creation. The nicest element is that direct use of ad hoc data needs is possible, with no dependencies.

Pros:

One of the most useful features of Tableau is the flexibility with which its dashboards may be filtered. Information that is simple to understand, demonstrate, and infer. Any group may quickly and simply extract useful data thanks to a drag-and-drop interface.

Cons:

Data syncing problems can cause the dashboards to malfunction. Notifications about impending outages would be greatly appreciated. however, that shouldn't be a deal breaker.

Tableau- a reliable visualization tool.

3.0 last year

Comments: The best visualization tool on the market so far. I highly recommend this if you want to improve your dashboard.

Pros:

One of Tableau's most useful features is its flexibility in filtering dashboards. Information that is easy to understand, demonstrate, and derive. A drag-and-drop interface allows each group to quickly and easily extract useful data.

Cons:

There are limits to the external images that you can import into Tableau workbooks. Tableau can become very slow when processing heavy tables.

Comments: Tableau has made it possible for us to have a clear understanding of our business by giving us incredible platform to analyze our business data. It has been quite an outstanding journey of great experience working on our data with Tableau. It helps get our hands onto very actionable insights allowing us to always make informed decisions.

Pros:

Tableau provides a very intuitive data analytics workspace making it easy to surf through the data. It has super enhanced analytical functions with AI tools which help acquire very detailed and accurate insights from data. Tableau security features are very powerful and makes it possible to keep all data safe to avoid any data losses.

Data Visualization

5.0 last year

Comments: The overall experience is good. I have created many important visuals on the platform.

Pros:

I think Tableau is up there when it comes to data visualization. One is able to create complex data visuals as one wishes. Secondly, one is able to perform arithmetic on the data as you create the visuals. Tableau is the best platform for data analysts and the whole business community.

Cons:

When creating visuals, Tableau chooses the type of chart to use according to the type of data you have. For instance, one is not able to create a line chart unless data involving dates is used. This can be really annoying.

Comments: Still Learning to create the dashboard & integrating BigData like Google's Big Query and its fun while building visualization. I enjoyed creating Visualization for one of the Clothing Brands in Surat, India.

It supports Python, so customized visualization is possible (for Python programmers, it's easy) to create their own custom dashboard and visualization.

Cons:

It's a bit costly, where PowerBI is free.

Comments: Overall, I think Tableau is a great software that provides a beautiful interface to users, and it can be used in various domains and industries.

Pros:

Modern platform

4.0 2 months ago

Comments: The data is clearer and more accessible to everyone, giving a better, more fluid analysis. It helps to have a faster explanation of the real data.

Pros:

Tableau uses artificial intelligence and makes all data easier to analyze and better understood by each user. Sometimes not all data is understood by everyone and what Tableau does is make its presentation easier to understand with its presentation design. Its integration of all data in a single platform helps make it more understandable and better organized.

Cons:

It has always worked well, there is nothing wrong at the moment or something to correct.

Great for data storage and visulation

5.0 6 months ago

Pros:

My team was able to successfully set up a nightly data feed from Technolutions Slate to Tableau to store historical admissions data. It was important to implement Tableau because there's no way that takes snapshots of data in Slate as it's always changing. Once the data storage was set up my team was able to create many different dashboards to display complicated data to other team members to use. One dashboard we were able to create uses slate data from many different storage tables and pulls together appointment data over time so I can monitor workload volume. This has been a really useful visualization tool.

Cons:

You will definitely need a data and Excel expert to set up the dashboard and reporting initially as there's a little clunkiness and set it up charts but it still does the job.

Essential for project KPIs and management

4.0 11 months ago

Pros:

Visualisation and ease of automized dashboard creation. It was simple to connect it to other tools and it connected and consolidated everything in one place.

Cons:

The inputs had to be very exact in order for the outputs to be correct. Sometimes this made consolidation challenging. Uniformity was required across all inputs and sources.

Drag and drop options for making interactive charts, graphs, and dashboards. The interface is very very user-friendly to technical and non-technical users. We can figure out various data using managing filters. We can connect Tableau from various data sources

Cons:

Limited charts, graph options. Limited connector options, high pricing

Exploring Tableau

5.0 last year

Comments: By far the best visualization tool out there. Highly recommend it if youre looking to level up your dashboards.

Pros:

Tableau has great functionality. 'Everything under one roof' I find myself enjoying Tableau each and every time i use it my work has become easier and I feel like my dashboards look crisp and professional.

Cons:

Tableau desktop requires to be paid for and to be honest it's quite expensive. I'd recommend it to companies and not individuals unless you can afford it for personal use.

Best data visualization tool out there

4.0 11 months ago

Pros:

The fact that Tableau supports practically all connectors, including Teradata, Bigquery, Salesforce, SAP, Snowflake, and others, is one of its finest features. Furthermore, it can produce and support a wide variety of chart kinds, such as pie, donut, map, and Sankey charts. I am capable of creating engrossing dashboards that tell tales to inspire my audience.

Cons:

Tableau can be costly for individual users or small enterprises due to the high licensing prices associated with Tableau Desktop.

Tableau

5.0 last year

Pros:

Overall I like the customization of reports & possible ways to visualize the data. Love that there is a strong community on the internet within Tableau help forum. I like that you can do most things on Tableau Online version, however, there are a couple of things that can only be done on desktop.

Cons:

Sometimes same features are placed differently in desktop vs online version & that makes using the product a bit more confusing.

Tableau is a great data analysis tool

5.0 8 months ago

Pros:

Tableau is easy to use, and makes data easy to compare year to year with charts. It takes so much of the manual work away! Being able to see figures for a specific area we recruit in and compare those figures year to year allows us to make more strategic decisions for travel, budget for mailers to those areas and help with overall decision making in next years recruitment cycle.

Cons:

It was hard to use at first, but then after using it for some time it's easy!
