An Event Management Must!
Pros:
The software is feature-rich from the planning stages of an event through to the execution. WYSIWYG site development, conditional logic in emails and easy-to-develop registration process make planning easy. OnArrival and Attendee Hub make the constituent experience seamless and positive.
Cons:
The libraries available to store your event documents and graphics need an update for ease-of-use.

Comments: Once I read and understand the program, its easy with tutorials and articles in the help section to figure out what I want to do step by step. If those do not work there is an excellent customer service to assist.
Pros:
The ease of use, the valuable data that it compiles, and the ease for the attendees.
Cons:
I dont think there isnt anything I do not like about the Event Management.

Pros:
Great software program for educational services learning how to manage events and the proper documents needed (i.e., RFP).
Cons:
There are no instructions or examples on how to accurately and properly fill out certain documents and forms, such as a request for proposal form.

Comments: Having worked with Cvent extensively over the years, I can confidently say it has been a reliable and robust platform. The customer service team stands out for their responsiveness, and my overall experience has been consistently positive.

Cons:
Cvent, while powerful, comes with a significant cost investment, making it most cost-effective for our larger-scale events. The platform's training resources are somewhat restrictive – comprehensive learning opportunities are primarily available through the annual Cvent CONNECT conference or in the Community webinars. This limitation can impact new users' ability to fully utilize the platform's capabilities.

The Cvent Event Management Platform is so easy to use! The team at Cvent sets you up for success, training you and your team to build your own registration systems and event emails. This allows you to have full, customizable control of the product and create a seamless and branded experience for your users.
Cons:
The cost is a bit higher than some other platforms, particularly if you only have limited use for the system.

i love the ability to manage all aspects of the event through one cloud based software

Comments: Its the best tool we've found that can meet our needs and has the least amount of issues

That is holds all features and functionality that we would require to request, build a reg site, and plan an event within one platform.

I think that the reporting could be more robust!

Reasons for Switching to Cvent Event Management: They were not as all encompassing, and i think they were a smaller company so they didnt have as good of a support team / online help desk.
All in One Event Planning
Pros:
Cvent event management made it easier for us to organize our events in one platform. The ready-to-use templates and flexibility to host small to large events is a plus! I love using the customer support live chat anytime I run into an issue. They are quick to respond!
Cons:
It can be a bit time consuming on learning how to use Cvent overall, but after that everything is seamless. Not being able to login into multiple devices using one account gets tiresome when I am working offsite and my computer at work still has me logged in.

I do like how the customizable features are The customer service is legit The platform is easy to use Their web registration is a 100% the best

Nothing really is wrong with cvent it is genuinely the best
You Get What You Pay For
Comments: There are many options available to help you learn, including how-to guides, online trainings/certifications, user groups, and customer service. The ability to save events as templates so you do not need to reinvent the wheel (and so you can keep sites consistent) is invaluable.
Pros:
The system is very robust and offers just about any capability you may want. Similar products often have limitations to what they offer so they come with a lower price tag. If you need a robust system with the capability to customize reports and data, the higher price tag is worth the cost and will save you time and stress as a result. Customer service is easy to get in touch with and work with any issue you may have. They're also quite receptive to feedback regarding functionality.
Cons:
It can feel a bit daunting at first because there are so many items to learn. Some items have limits to their functionality which can get frustrating, but it's no different that similar platforms I've used over the years.
Overall a great platform with several integrated solutions
Pros:
I like that the management portion of the platform integrates with all of their solutions and tools across the platform.
Cons:
Currently, my least favorite part of the event management portion is the reporting feature. It is hard to create the reports we need with the limited flexibility. Our internal team has a hard time understanding reports.
Registration has never been so easy!
Pros:
I enjoy how user friendly Cvent event management is. Creating the mobile app, uploading attendees and sending emails are important for our job, and having it all in one place is convenient!
Cons:
At this time, there are not any major cons I have with Cvent. Sometimes the website can act up a bit when adding attendees, however, that happens with all websites and customer support is helpful.
Streamlines registrations of all sizes
Pros:
Whether we're hosting an event for 5 or 5,000 cvent registration helps us streamline our registration process and turn a manual or complex process with ease. We can then do post-reg reports, follow-ups and cross-event attendance analytics with ease.
Cons:
Sometimes the need to create custom fields or the understanding of how to 'register on behalf of someone'. The one thing I think we dislike the most is if during set up you create a mandatory checkbox question (i.e. agree to our Terms and Conditions) you can't just edit the text if you find a typo, you have to delete it and start over.
A great platform!
Pros:
Cvent is useful for event and attendee management. Everything you need is in the same place. It has greatly improved our work.
Cons:
It isn't perfectly tailored to incentives trips. There are a few features that could be improved: guest management, multi destination flights, etc.

Powerful Event Management with Marketing
Comments: Overall, it has been a good experience with Cvent Event Management. I appreciate the support team that helped us setup the software and also answered to our queries afterwards. I think support is extremely important when using software. I love that we can run email marketing campaigns right from the software which saves a lot of time as I don't have to export all contact information and characteristics to other email marking software.
Pros:
The customer support of Cvent is top notch. Once, I couldn't figure out how to do a simple thing and I reached out to support and they seemed to be happy to help me. Regarding feature, I like the attendee management feature and the ability to export event reports. This makes it easier to plan further event.
Cons:
There can be significant learning curve. I personally roamed around the software for week before I could use it as I wanted to. I wish the developers focused on user experience because I believe there is definitely rooms for improvement. However, once we learn - its a powerful piece of amazing software.

I don't think I have anything specific to event management. It works the way we expect.

Comments: I highly recommend it. Support is always there to help and are quick with their replies. Being able to manage the attendees has been very easy with information right at your fingertops.
Pros:
Once you know how to use it, it has all information you need to manage an event. The registration is easy for attendees. Managing the attendees is easy with the reports you can run.
Cons:
Takes getting used to. Training could be more complete. I feel like the training videos do not cover everything. Needs some updates to make it smoother.
Cvent Event Management from new user
Pros:
It is user-friendly. Cvent offers trainings on the platform, as well as a support phone number and email.
Cons:
It can seem overwhelming for a new user. It is so robust and has so many avenues to take. Initial training is needed for a new user, instead of just being self-taught by reading and watching videos alone.

It's sometimes hard to find things because there is so much in Cvent

Pros:
The platform is easy to use for the smallest or largest of events. You can capture all of the information needed to have a successful event.
Cons:
It can be difficult to understand the language being used often researching features to better understand the set-up. The language isn't as intuitive as I would like.
