Reviews of Lucidspark
Alternatives Considered:
Must have for all Solopreneurs!
Comments: I love the ease of use! I have previously featured Lucidspark as part of a 'Best Platforms' series I did on LinkedIn and I would add it a hundred times over :)
Pros:
I am an operations consultant so I spend a lot of time thinking about, creating and documenting efficient processes for my clients. Lucidspark makes it possible to clearly map out the customer journey and contextualize their systems design. If a picture is worth a thousand word, a Lucidspark flowchart is worth two thousand! There is no better way to demonstrate how you can bring value to the most important stakeholders for your business- your amazing customers!
Cons:
When you are on the free trial, you can only retain/update 3 documents at a time.
Alternatives Considered:
Great for Catching Sparks (Ideas), But Not the Tool to Fuel a Bonfire. (Entire Project)
Comments: In my opinion, the pros, and cons are pretty evenly balanced, making Lucidspark a no-go for me. At least it would have been for me had I been evaluating integration for the whole company. Fortunately, all I did was collect and tally votes, including my own "Maybe," in the engineering team opinion poll after trialing the product. While I occasionally still use Lucidspark, other programs remain my go-to.
Pros:
The virtual whiteboard, idea collection and organization, and remote-first approach are among Lucidspark's top attributes.
Cons:
Onboarding/learning to use the software effectively and efficiently was a bit of a challenge, and without prior Lucidchart experience might be a dealbreaker.
Interesting alternative to Microsoft Visio
Comments: Good
Pros:
Easy of use, web based and usable from anywhere ,The content to work with is new and drag and drop is king.
Cons:
Seems to have limited shapes in comparision to technology vendors , if I compare it to Visio then you could download packs but it was slow and cumbersome, If Lucid could broaden templates and shapes for architecture that would be great.
Excellent tool to go for across the other options
Pros:
Team collaboration in Lucidspark makes is extremely seamless. This tool is a must for enterprises and teams who would need collaboration across other members. The ability of the tool to operate through browser makes it very easy and intuitive to learn for the new team members. Lucidspark also comes with many pre-defined templates making the job easier for people who would work on multiple style of documents. Its ability to sync with Jira is also an important feature that I would recommend this tool for. All the teams who work on Jira can leverage Lucidspark to link their artefacts into the Jira issues/tasks, making the management of documents agile and simple.
Cons:
The design styling of the objects and auto-alignment features can be improved. Also, the presentation feature can be integrated with meeting notes in order to capture the ongoing workshop notes.

Great and easy product
Comments: The value of this software to my work is great.
Pros:
It's quick and easy to build charts. The best software out there of its kind.
Cons:
Would be nice if it were cheaper like $5/month for individuals.
Developing a process flow seamlessly
Pros:
The ease of use. There are variety of features to choose from. Legend and Symbol come with a mini display for its uses and function. And pieces by pieces were connected even if the component or the element that we input might not seem to feel right, the outcome of the whole process flow being put together makes the work look tidy and clean. Extremely satisfied but still not to the budget im hunting for.
Cons:
the price. I guess the price can be more of on a competitive range
Excellent software for diagramming
Comments: This software has help me prepared diagrams and relations that I would not have had the ability to create with other products.
Pros:
I have created a few diagrams and presentations with this software. They were very well received and look very professional. It's much easier to use than Visio. I appreciate the wide variety of templates. I purchased this software on my own dime because it's so helpful for me.
Cons:
I have no complaints. The software has been very helpful.
Good product, a lot of freedom
Pros:
The fact that you are free to do a lot of things, to express your ideas and help you with templates
Cons:
probably it is less intuitive sometimes, I had moments when I searched a little bit for what I was looking for
LucidSpark is a must have for Remote work
Comments: Love it, great addition to the other tools we use and really great team product.
Pros:
I love the collaborative aspect of the tool, being able to follow others and all work simultaneously on one sheet and not have to save and wait to see updates others have made, it's a game changer, also lots of extra functionality that makes it incredibly useful for presentations...etc.
Cons:
I think it's a bit tricky to learn how to use to start, there is SO much functionality it can be a bit overwhelming, I also think it can get a bit silly on the chats and team messaging stuff.
Lucidspark JIRA integration makes software project planning/management feel sane
Comments: I've been able to communicate project statuses and blockers way more easily than before.
Pros:
It's the JIRA integration. It provides interactive JIRA cards you can place on a diagram that automatically update when JIRA updates are made like card status changes. Also, you can update the card status right from the diagram card too!
Cons:
I think I would like to see a few more shapes/widgets for technical diagramming. Because there are other features about Lucidspark that make it way more attractive for technical project diagramming as opposed to Lucidchart.
A great tool with great templatees
Comments: Very smooth and helpful.
Pros:
Lucidspark is a great tool to use because of its great templates and its convenient, easy to use interface. The templates featured give a lot of detail and help a lot with knowing how to start your own projects. This especially makes it a great tool to use for brainstorming sessions.
Cons:
It's a little difficult to share your project with coworkers outside lucid. Some more editable options for exporting would be nice.
Excellent platform for whiteboarding and collaboration
Pros:
I really liked how simple it is to start using Lucidspark
Cons:
Nothing to dislike its a great platform!
Alternatives Considered:
Good software to express your ideas with schematics
Comments: I started to use it for wireframes, but then I started to use it for flow charts and other schemes
Pros:
Really intuitive and fairly full of features. It helps me from mind maps to website wireframes
Cons:
Not really, it does what it has to do in an easy way
Lucidspark - a window between worlds.
Pros:
Lucidspark is easy for everyone to pick up, the best part about it is that I can have people in design sessions that and they can pick it up within 3 minutes. Its easy to use implement and get different departments together and give some visibility on projects.
Cons:
I wish is had just a few more tools that are in offered in Lucidchart but that is why we have both I guess.
Lucidspark - collaboration redefined
Pros:
The most impactful feature is the ability to collaborate virtually with the team and brainstorming or ideate. These can be categorized and allows practical execution and ability to prioritize tasks
Cons:
There are no features that I've encountered yet which yielded a negative experience.
Great software that keeps communication simple
Comments: Amazing. Revolutionised the way I work with clients now in a daily basis.
Pros:
Easy to use and get clients using it with me. It’s the perfect tool for remote collaboration.
Cons:
File organisation can be a little tricky and I’m not always sure which files are shared and which are private.
Wonderful tool for professionals
Pros:
Till now whatever I have seen and presented using the Lucid, it always a great experience, in less time and effort, it delivers quality.
Cons:
As of now nothing is bad if you have a paid account else one will Not able to edit the shared files.
Low-key replacement for post-it-notes and whiteboards
Comments: Lucidspark, like its sibling, Lucidchart, is intuitive and easy to use. You can get up to speed with using this software very quickly and with next to no training.
Pros:
This software is amazing for aggregating information and ideas and cataloging them in a meaningful way. I love how you can connect similar ideas and information to see connections and relationships. This has been very useful for capturing the wisdom and experience of retiring employees so it can be conveyed to personnel coming up through the ranks. Being able to catalog their different responsibilities and connect them together allows us to present a holistic view of the program so that new employees can get up to speed faster. I also love how this software is browser based so that it can be used anywhere on any device. This frees up staff from having to be in the office or worrying if they have a company computer.
Cons:
I would like to see a feature where you can attach documents to different sparks. It would be helpful to enrich different ideas and sticky notes with supporting documents.
Review
Comments: nice!
Pros:
Many templates to use and very collaborative
Cons:
No local app, it would nice to have it offline.
Amazing, Simple, Elegant
Comments: A wonderful program that I would recommend to anyone who is seeking a way to organize and display their thoughts, plots, or plans.
Pros:
The ease of use for the software makes any project a relaxing, focused use of time rather than struggling to organize everything well in advance.
Cons:
The options for templates seem a little limited right now.
Lucid User
Comments: Great!
Pros:
User friendly, easy to use and less complex
Cons:
The shapes and design to follow a template for visibility always
Nice Product
Comments: Nice
Pros:
Easy to Use Lot of feature to resolve my issue.
Cons:
I don't find any issue with product. Recomond to my manager to use on organisation level.
Good value for money
Comments: Overall, it's become our primary tool for mapping business processes.
Pros:
Lucid is an easy tool to use to quickly build robust process flows, and share them with other collaborators. The tool is mostly intuitive, and the help pages are useful to fill the gaps.
Cons:
The export feature takes a bit to get used to, and could have been a more guided experience.
Tazej Food Company Review
Comments: Very good.
Pros:
Ease of use, good UI. The page expansion and overall page view is pretty sweet.
Cons:
Some basic features, like having a line with no forced end-point shape, just a regular line, why isn't that line available, or is it me that doesn't know how to get a line.
