Pros:

The platform is intuitive both from an owner/admin perspective but also for employees which is vital as this might be the first interaction that people have had with equity products – making sure the process is clear and understood ensures adoption and realisation of the benefit for each individual!

Cons:

Nothing of note - we utilise a good range of features and the platform performs well

Great tool

Comments: Great team, fast support response and very low learning curve to get onboarded.

Pros:

Support and platform are very quick to use, and very much know what they're doing, never needed anything else to manage EMI. [sensitive content hidden] has been very helpful.

Cons:

Sometimes HMRC guidelines skip a few steps.

EMI option grants

Comments: Helpful support team and always happy to help

Pros:

Like it can all be sent electronically and set up templates

Cons:

Templates have to wait for vestd support to update however on this occasion [sensitive content hidden] turned around super quick v happy

Great for employee share distribution

Comments: Excellent, I've received guidance through the complexities of setting up and managing share schemes. Their customer support replies promptly and offers further guidance and easy to follow advice.

Pros:

A wide range of tools and informative material to help manage employee equity. Vestd also helps the company stay compliant by sending reminders and facilitating statutory declarations.

Cons:

The extensive resources on the platform can be quite overwhelming at first and it takes some time to learn and digest everything. But one done it becomes easy to navigate.

Great platform with available and responsive support team

Pros:

Ease of funding round management and Co house integration to ensure statutory records kept up to date. Supportive content for more complex share issues and quick feedback from the support team to help when needed.

Cons:

Nothing - the platform and team have brought increased control and efficiency to complex processes

EMI Options & Growth Shares

Pros:

The system is very detailed and in most part user friendly. Though one of the best things about Vestd. is the customer support and hand holding. From initial discussions, setup, to questions, meetings and advice the support I would say is top notch.

Cons:

The only slight issue is that it wasn't always easy to know what you need to do on the site, if you are doing it alone. Though as above the support is excellent, so it pays to have the all in package.

Great customer service

Comments: Straightforward and responsive to setting up a simple EMI scheme.

Pros:

Affordable, with great customer service and user friendly platform.

Cons:

For a micro business, you don't need the full range of services after the first year.

Amazing software, amazing team. You're in good hands.

- Equity Management can get messy and overwhelming to track - Vestd makes all these procedural steps less frustrating and streamlined - Even if you're lost, the team is so knowledgable and reactive, you will never feel like you need an internal expert to ensure you're doing things the right way Special shoutout to [sensitive content hidden]

Nothing I can think of at the moment? I couldn't imagine going back without it

Helpful, knowledgeable and obviously empowered, support staff

Comments: Overall, we are very happy with vestd and doubt we would managed to set up our Employee Share Scheme without them.

Pros:

I love the assistance and advice I receive from all support staff at Vestd. I would particularly commend [sensitive content hidden] in this regard.

Cons:

Perhaps too much information: too many documents providing the same information, particularly in the marketing material.

Good product

It helps to manage complex CAP tables and EMI schemes

Expensive for some early startups as they can not afford it

Comments: Brilliant - Talented staff, Kudos to [sensitive content hidden] aswell as a really solid product thats easy to use and manage.

Pros:

It's exceptionally well built so kudos to the product team. It takes away a load of headache from my perspective as a founder as I can handle all elements of our EMI scheme in one place.

Cons:

If you dont know much about the EMI scheme its a bit of a headache to grasp, but Vestd are available to support you through that process. Less of a con about Vestd and more a con of EMI/HMRC as a whole.

Great customer care

Very speedy and knowledgeable replies to my EMI queries

Cons:

Nothing that I have seen yet The platform is very user friendly

Vestd provides a comprehensive platform for equity management and their customer support is excellent - they're always on hand with prompt responses and solutions should any issue arise.

Cons:

The UX could be designed to be a little clearer and more user friendly.

The Vestd Product and Team are awesome

Pros:

Vestd has so many capabilities across Company filings, share capital, share issues etc. There are many more additional services and the bank of legal documents is amazingly helpful.

Cons:

The monthly fee for the full product is quite high for a start up business.

Vestd was fantastic

Pros:

Very straight forward platform for a beginner in share options to use.

Cons:

Nothing, the interaction with inland revenue was a little tricky but that's not vestd fault, it's just typical inland revenue issues.

Great Product and Service

Pros:

We signed up with Vestd in April 2022 and they have made our lives so much easier. They have assisted with all our shares issues (including EMI options) and I am incredibly grateful to them for the great service. [sensitive content hidden] has assisted with everything and his help and guidance has been fantastic. [sensitive content hidden] also came to my rescue recently when I made a mistake while issuing a new allotment of shares. Their support staff are exceptional! Great company that I highly recommend.

Cons:

I don't dislike anything about Vestd. I have only had good experiences with them.

EMI Scheme for SME

Pros:

Visual representations for the EMI members. Relatively easy to use. Level of support / customer service is excellent

Cons:

Some of jargon is probably too wordy for a complete novice to understand straight away.

Pros:

Cons:

Help/Support guides are good but would probably prefer video walkthroughsWhen there is some complexities around particular existing/historic Schemes the scheme builder doesn't always flow and make a tonne of sense - would be good to have an import historic scheme option.

Great product

Pros:

Extremely easy to use, intuitive and great support.

Cons:

More document templates would be nice, but this is a minor qualm.

Excellent Platform

Pros:

The ability to have everything managed in one place and not to have to use expensive lawyers

Cons:

Not much I did not like, I am a new user so yet to really get to know the platform

Would highly recommend

Cap table management and managing the companies house documentation process.

The software is a little on the expensive side for a SME.

Pros:

before Vestd we were manually updating spreadsheets and sending out information which was very time-consuming​. Vestd took all the admin out of our hands and automated it. Also the presentation of the information and flexibility​ of the application made internal and external reporting simple and efficient .

it provided all we needed so no negative feedback
