The visual interface is very intuitive and enables a very quick assessment of where we are with each task/matter. The automations are flexible and powerful. They save us hours each week and are great for reminders and follow ups. The two-way Clio sync is great. But, I was able to pay separately to have a team member set up the boards for my firm. She ran the tests also to make sure all was running correctly. > > Legal Boards has helped me stay on top of cases and make sure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner. The cards are easy to set up, and it is easy to understand intuitively how the system works. The integration with Clio is extremely useful for those who use Clio, and it was and continues to be one of the biggest benefits for us. > > **Cons**: The software is a little buggy at times - even after a user moves a card, it still remains in the column upon refreshing. When setting up a card, it would be nice if you could assign the card to a specific user, instead of having to retroactively go back to edit it. Essentially, the overall software works fine, but there are little things here and there that could be improved. > > Overall it is positive - the staff at Legalboards are helpful and communicative. The main selling feature for me are the automation features. Not only are they great for the internal / case management process (adding tasks based on a variety of trigger options, etc) but the email automation that allows you to email the client at designated triggers (e.g. card movement, task completion, monthly, etc) makes lb VERY unique and as such combines the perks of multiple software / automation systems that firms use. Oh yah, and I forgot to mention the fillable / likable forms you can create for clients and have it on your website, email whatever - great for lead tracking\! Perhaps most importantly is the customer service. Everyone on the team is willing to speak with me as I onboarded and thought through best way to set us up\!\!\! > > **Cons**: Because lb has SOOO many possibilities of use, it can be overwhelming to set up initially. many many many rabbit holes you can go down when thinking through ALL the automation structures\!\! It fills a huge void in law firm management software, which is to provide kanban style automated task management that's geared specifically towards the legal profession. > > **Cons**: There currently is a lag between using the Legalboards website and Clio, so automations take a few minutes to run.
