Gmail as a go-to for all my personal and professional needs has met and exceeded my expectations!

5.0 last month New

Comments: My overall experience with Google has been entirely positive and allows me to operate professionally in an organized and competent way. I use many of the features within Gmail to help with my executive functioning skills such as snoozing emails to remind me to address things, schedule sending emails for the same reason, and keeping things sorted and organized in a way that makes sense for my brain. There's almost nothing that I can think of that I would use Gmail for that I'm not able to do in a user friendly format.

Pros:

Most things about the Google Suite I really like. I use the Gmail often and appreciate the way it allows me to group and sort emails, control the content of my emails, personalize signatures for different occasions, and I often use the search capability to scour my emails for information I need down the line. I especially like the Google meets feature which I use often at work and the Google Chat feature is my primary way of being available to my employees.

Cons:

I do not like that there is not an option to unsubscribe in bulk, or if there is, it's not apparent enough for me to find it. I also don't like that when you forward an email, there is not an option to change the subject line. When I get an email for continuing education credits, I like to forward them to my staff and use the label for all emails, but I would like to be able to change the subject line to let them know what the email is regarding and other pertinent information to keep them from just skipping past it.

Gmail should be your GoTo

5.0 3 weeks ago New

Comments: I love Gmail! It has all the smart features, such as AI, smart reply, etc. It saves me time and money with these features. It also provides great security from spam and phishing attempts to keep my account secure.

Pros:

It integrates seamlessly with other services like Google Docs, Google Drive and Google Calendar.

Cons:

While I love Gmail, I do not like the ads that pop up though.

used to love it. hate the way they are treating existing customers now.

2.0 5 months ago

Comments: used to love it. hate the way they are treating existing customers now.

Pros:

I loved Gmail for many years, using it since about 2010 for all my email accounts. With the introduction of paid storage, they have turned into money hungry jerks making it really hard to actually delete emails, thereby trying to force you to give up and pay for the service. I get it, most serives are moving to subscription models, but this is shitty service.

Cons:

as above. they are forcing customers to pay. unlike Adobe, which made an overnight change and advertised it, Gmail pretends you have a choice, with messages telling you to delete your emails etc etc. But while doing this, I have discovered that the process is so hard and requires so many steps that you waste half of your life trying to do it. Just be transparent about the costs and stop pretending you're giving people an option.

Gmail.. receive ALL your emails within one app!

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: I've been using Gmail for over 20 years and have enjoyed the upgrades overtime. The fact that I can check my AOL email as well as others all on one interface is definitely a plus.

Pros:

I like the ease of the interface and the fact that I can have all of my emails in one place. I'm able to receive and send emails from my AOL account as well as my Hotmail account by using Gmail. I love that everything seems to be up-to-date at all times & I actually receive email notifications throughout the day on my phone.

Cons:

The only con I can think of is that sometimes Gmail does not filter out the spam emails the way that I feel it should.

Gmail is a Superior Application

5.0 4 weeks ago New

Comments: Gmail is a superior product! A system central to our business operations. I use it throughout the day, more frequently and efficiently than any other application.

Pros:

Gmail's search function is extraordinary, I am able to easily find older emails, as well as emails with similar content from disparate sources. But even more impressive is the simplicity of the system in terms of organizing emails, attaching files to emails, etc... Our agency uses Google drive and gmail for all internal critical communication and documentation.

Cons:

At times the search function is too sensitive and pulls up too many emails, perhaps AI will help improve the instructions one can input to reduce irrelevant emails.

Everything you need and more in email

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: Overall, Gmail is phenomenal. I have used gmail not only for work, but for my personal email as well. Gmail integrates with all of the other Google apps. It is constantly adding features such as predictable text, appointment/task reminders, and customization. Gmail also offers two factor authentication.

Pros:

Gmail comes with so many options and intuitive tools. It is one of the best email apps. I have loved the ability to schedule to send emails and integrate my calendar. PLUS, using a gmail account also gives you your own Google Drive, so super bonus!

Cons:

Gmail is really the front runner in email apps. The only con would be that you lose your account after a long period of inactivity.

Gmail accompanies an application programming point of interaction (Programming interface), which permits associations to alter the framework and incorporate it with different outsider frameworks. The item is accessible free of charge and backing is broadened through documentation.

Pros:

I have extraordinary involvement in that arrangement, I prescribed to utilize this arrangement because it's safe and liberated from cost. Brilliant generally, keeps me coordinated, and the capacity to make envelopes for messages is perfect for arranging business records. The simplicity of exchanging among screens and the auto save highlight is a lifeline. Gmail's convenience is awesome for all.

Cons:

There is additionally no client service for Gmail so on the off chance that you have a blunder or issue you are on your own which can disappoint on occasion. Can without much of a stretch be hacked on the off chance that your telephone or PC is lost. Difficult to recuperate whenever failed to remember the secret key. I despise how it channels messages into spam at times. I need to screen spam sometimes to ensure I missed no significant messages.

Gmail Is Good Overall - Needs Better Search Function

5.0 8 months ago

Pros:

It's a straightforward, easy-to-use email management system, inside of a well-integrated Google ecosystem (Google Drive, Google Calendar, etc).

Cons:

The search function is not as efficient as it could be. I often type in a keyword that I KNOW is in an email, but that email doesn't pop up in the search. Sometimes I have to type in the name of the person I corresponded with, or change the capitalization of the keyword in order for the email to appear.

Gmail wins everytime when it comes to email management.

Comments: Gmail is an excellent user-friendly tool with numerous email organization options that connect well with other Google apps. While it is free, it can also host accounts with custom domains for a cost.

Pros:

Amazing UI ,unlike its competitors, Gmail has a fairly "clean" design with a variety of themes. I like the option to label my emails and then easily find them, something other email management solutions do not provide. I also enjoy how we can establish areas for working and communicating together. It is also a tremendous advantage to having a hub of other products at our disposal, such as the entire Google Suite. Documents, contacts, and common folders may be simply linked, tagged, and maintained.

Cons:

The one thing I don't like is that when I issue calendar invites, I get responses in my primary inbox. Even if I alter the label to anything else, Gmail does not learn or remember. I have to do that everytime.

Pros:

I really like its ease of use, large storage capacity and efficiency in sending information, as well as the reliability in the operation of the tool.

Cons:

The limitation I find in the tool is that when the mailbox fills up, you have to free up space in it by deleting mail by mail and this process is somewhat tedious.

"Efficient and Intuitive: Navigating the Seamless World of Gmail"

5.0 last year

Pros:

Gmail impresses with its user-friendly interface, robust organization features, and seamless integration across devices. The powerful search functionality, smart categorization of emails, and efficient spam filtering contribute to a streamlined email experience. Google's continuous updates ensure Gmail remains a top choice, offering reliability and innovation in communication.

Cons:

Gmail's main drawback is its limited offline functionality compared to some desktop email clients. While it has an offline mode, it lacks advanced features when disconnected. Additionally, some users may be concerned about privacy issues, given Google's data practices, though the security measures in place are continually improving.
