Reliable Secure Access

Pros:

The software is very easy to use and having different passwords makes it secure in my opinion as well as the encrypted connection gives me peace of mind.

Cons:

At this time the only times I get frustrated is when the wifi access I am using is unstable, then I have intermittent problems, but this is not GoToMyPC's issue, it is where I am accessing the internet.

Go to my PC is the best that I have tried

Pros:

The system is as quick as the computer systems that you are using. When I work remotely, it feels and acts like I am at my computer at work. I also appreciate printing from my remote loction as some systems don't allow for it or the system doesn't work well. The sizing and appearance of all the applications look and work well remotely as well. The system is also very easy to access and implement so I have no hesitation in utilizing it on a daily basis.

Cons:

I set the system for maximum speed and minimum graphics. If the requirements of the job included graphics, the system would work significantly slower. I can't compare, since I have not tried any of those applications on this or any other system. The price is also much higher than the competition, but it is worth it for what I need to accomplish.

Useless crap

Comments: Horrible. No support. Yesterday's "degraded performance" debacle was the last straw.

Cons:

This product WAS useful. Years ago, before it was purchased by whomever... Between the down time and cost I wouldnt recommend this useless app to my dog.

Great for Mexico to US accessiblity

Comments: I have complete use of my computer from my office to my home office. I have been using GTMPC for many years, with no complaints. I use this program from my office in Mexico to the US, with no problems. I highly recommend this company.

Pros:

What I like most about GTMPC, is the easy accessiblity from my home PC or my cell phone.

Cons:

The only thing I dont like, is that GTMPC is not compatible to all computers. I cannot use it on my IPAD mini, for instance. But I have no issues on my PC or my cell phone.

Great Product

Comments: I've never had any issues with GoToMyPC and so have never needed to contact customer support. The platform is stable and does exactly what I need.

Pros:

What I like most about GoToMyPC is that since I have basically become bedridden because of stage 4 cancer, GoToMyPC has allowed me to continue to do most of my work remotely from home and literally from my bed. I have an office manager on site, but there are some functions of the company that he is still unable to do at this point. This allows me to continue to move my business forward and have complete control over my finances without disrupting the everyday business of my office manager.

Cons:

Honestly, the only thing I don't like is the cost. I started with LogMeIn and was a loyal user for years and then the price skyrocketed. I found GoToMyPC, which seems like basically the same platform and possibly the same corporate ownership. However, GoToMyPC pricing was back to what I was used to. But now several years in to GoToMyPC the pricing continues to goes us. All I truly need in a product like this is the ability to access my desktop and print to either my printer at work or at home.

For simple and easy-to-use access at home or on the road

Pros:

Ease of use and access. Very simple to login and be working from home or road

Cons:

Price. Probably based on security protocol, but we are a small business. Seems like prices are always made for the enterprise users and never the small businesses. Thus you have a break-even point where you pay for additional products for your employees or you pay for them to have remote access to work from home. The bigs don't have to worry about the per-unit cost of either of those options as much as small businesses do.

Great quick solution for remote working

Comments: Installed, an issue cropped up on restart for the install. Had to uninstall to get our network issue sorted, then reinstalled and tested and used all withing half an hour. Worked seamlessly at home on the weekend. Love it!

Pros:

The ease of install and setup. Very quick and relatively painless.

Cons:

there was an issue on restart with our network that took some time to clear up, but it was our network, not GoToMyPC.

Easy AND Reliable

Comments: I've been using it for 10+ years and it has never let me down once.

Pros:

It's SO easy to use and reliable. I have used it all over the country and even on cruise ships.

Cons:

There is nothing that I do not like about this product.

GoToMyPc still has KISS: Keep It Simple Stupid

Comments: Being in the technology field, I need simplicity. I can count on GoToMyPC to "Keep it simple Stupid" while other apps routinely get more complicated. My time is more valuable than the pricing of any app I use.

Pros:

I have been a user for 20+ Years. GoToMyPC is a much easier interface than other competitors - which is the more important variable than most anything else.

Cons:

No complaints - nothing I can't handle.

Comments: We have used GTMPC for many, many years. Easy to set up when we replace our computer.

Pros:

GTMPC is easy to set up and easy to use. We keep our company's financials on one computer along with inventory and all locations can access it.

Cons:

Price I do find that sometimes due to internet issues on one end or the other, connecting can be slow

GoToMyPC is a huge asset to my work routine.

Comments: I have been using GoToMyPC for well over 10 years. I feel it is a great application. No matter where I am I can log into my desk PC and my 3 monitors just as if I am sitting in my office. As long as I have a basic internet connection in both locations I can work uninterrupted for hours if need be. I can be at home, at a client, the airport, at sea, anywhere. I can log in to my desk from my iPhone if I need to in a pinch. My 3 screens will be small but I can easily zoom in where I need to see. Jumping from screen to screen is easy. It is no difference than being at my desk except my busy office does not distract me. It’s a good option when I have an important project that I prefer to finish away from the office. Over the years it has been a huge asset for me and I would recommend it to any frequent computer user that can benefit from remote access to their office or home computer.

Pros:

Simple to use and log in. good support when needed which is infrequently. Reliable and consistent function. Only a basic wired or wireless connection is needed.

Cons:

Prices took a large jump few years ago, but they eventually dropped back down to a reasonable level. Discounts were offered to me by their sales team.

GoToMyPC review

Comments: Have used this product for years and it has helped me save time and money, by being able to not have to be at store physically to solve problems

Pros:

The ease of use and the abililty to remote in from multiple locations have really saved me from having to make trips back to store. It has made it so much easier to help my staff with problems, without having to be there physically.

Cons:

Sometimes getting connected from remote locations can be time-consuming. I know a lot of this is due to security, which I appreciate.

Why I love and Depend on GOTOMYPC

Comments: I have been using GoToMyPC for many years and could not perform my work without it. It is reliable, functional, easy to use and extraordinarily secure.

Pros:

Using GoToMyPC is like having my primary computer right there on another screen. I have been using GoToMyPC for many years now and completely depend upon it. It is secure, responsive, fast and easy to use. I like the easy file transfer capabilities and the convenient connection to my remote computers. I completely depend upon GoToMyPC and cannot imagine trying to work remotely without it.

Cons:

There is nothing I can say negatively regarding GoToMyPC.

It hangs up sometimes. You cant use cut and paste from a remote computer...That is a bit annoying.

I love being able to access our main office desktop from anywhere in the world. It means that we can keep all business related work and programmes on the office computer so there is no confidential material on laptops and if, as has happened, there is a problem with a remote laptop it can be wiped/rebooted without any effect on the main office workstation
