With the website creation I prefer to use a builder like emlementor with Woo which gives me really consistent pages across the website. Supports a massive amount of payment options with card, 3rd party and split pay options > > **Cons**: There does require some code knowledge for certian features and more advanced customisation but if you are looking to set up and go then it is all there for you > > Really good for ecommerce buisnesses, scalable to a larger revenue buisness and very customisable unlike some competitors ----- ### "Amazing value with endless customisation and a wonderful community" — 4.0/5 > **Trlock** | *3 March 2025* | Computer Hardware | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10 > > **Pros**: WooCommerce is a great platform with tons of plugins, integrations and an amazing API. As well as this, it is completely free to use and customise which, considering the vast features, is unbelievably good value compared to other eCommerce platforms. Lastly, the community and support are second to none. > > **Cons**: When scaling a more complex build, WooCommerce can require a lot of customisation and at times can be buggy. Also, the use of the WP database structure serverly limited performance, though much of this is being addressed with the HPOS update WooCommerce are doing. > > WooCommerce is a great platform overall with tons of plugins, integrations and an amazing API. Often, it is thought of as an option for smaller webshops, however, we have managed to scale up to 100,000+ products. This does mean a lot of customisation, architectural service separation and a lot. of API usage but it shows that WooCommerce is more than capable of scaling. ----- ### "The best ecommerce tool - overall" — 5.0/5 > **Davinder** | *3 February 2025* | Design | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: Easy to use and flexible to create almost any feature. > > **Cons**: Sometimes updates cause major issues which don't get flagged up until someone notices.
