Reviews of PheedLoop
Full-featured app, excellent support, good value
Comments: Great event app for our semi-annual world conferences. Love working with Pheedloop. Excellent customer support.
Pros:
Excellent support, always adding new features and improving functionality, works well on web app and iOS and Android versions, allowed us to eliminate printed program book, great for networking among speakers and attendees, as well as communicating announcements during the conference.
Cons:
Would like better integration between speaker portal and attendee portal, but I believe this update is coming soon.
Pheedloop for Non-Profits
Comments: No issues. We've used it for three large events with no issue.
Pros:
Almost everything. The system does take a bit to learn but once you understand how everything flows together it is really amazing. Sessions are seamless, importing attendees is easy, controlling what people have access to different things is great. As well you can apply global branding so you only have to do it one time.
Cons:
Support & Analytics. Support really needs an overhaul. There is one great person at it but other than that, I largely understand the platform better then them.
Good Product for a Virtual Event
Comments: Pretty good, no major issues that we weren't able to resolve in time for our virtual event
Pros:
As a first time user, I found this platform to be unlike anything I've ever used. I like that the attendee view is visible at any time and that changes can be made "behind the scenes". I found I didn't use some features, but that could be because I was new to the system and didn't have the capacity to store anymore features in my brain.
Cons:
There are lots of tips and tricks that you find out along the way, just by playing around that would be helpful to know as a "tips and tricks" guideline. We also had a bit of trouble integrating our Zoom links but once we played around a bit, we figured it out. Q&A tab was not easy to facilitate/see answers easily.
Love it! You should use it!
Comments: I have saved hours and hours of work in keeping up with speaker tasks and deadlines and sending email reminders using Pheedloop's Speaker Portal! Our organization plans 8-10 conferences each year and being able to duplicate events to build an event website in a matter of a few clicks has saved us thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of time! I can have a non-technical person build a Pheedloop event complete with a functional website in 30 minutes. There is NO WAY that was possible before we added Pheedloop to our repertoire of business solutions. Maintaining so many event websites all at the same time was a nightmare before -- now we can easily manage all events simultaneously with automated emails, task assignments, even contract-collection AND the event website is dynamic so every change we make in one place is propagated to the event website. Literally HUNDREDS of hours saved every year.
Pros:
I LOVE how much time I save with Pheedloop in speaker and exhibitor/vendor management! No more sending emails and keeping track of spreadsheets with tasks that need to be completed. Pheedloop does all of that with easy set-up upfront. Set-it-and-forget-it is a real thing with Pheedloop. I also LOVE the dynamic event website created with Pheedloop. SO EASY to keep your event site updated and I can embed any section into my company website with easy cut/paste code snippets.
Cons:
I would love to be able to assign a single session to multiple timeslots. I often have sessions repeated multiple times throughout the conference day and I currently don't utilize the scheduler in Pheedloop because I have to create duplicate sessions for each timeslot even though everything stays the same (same speaker, same room, etc).
VERY GOOD PRODUCT!!! one of the best event management systems out there
Comments: Really enjoy using pheedloop. I think that it's a well-managed program that is user-friendly. Straightforward and simple. We also love that we are supporting a "small" Canadian business
Pros:
The product is incredibly easy to use. It's very straightforward and user-friendly. I spent a day just messing around with it to get the hang of what things did. I think it's phenomenal that there is a customizable (to a certain point) website and an integrated App (very modern and tech-friendly). It's important to have payment in one single place, and refunds are fairly easy to process. I LOVE the on-site printing of badges. I enjoy that there is a space to create an exhibitor floor plan and have exhibitors choose their own booths. As mentioned before, the fact that emails can be automated (as soon as someone checks into the conference, they receive a welcome email). Call for speakers is very easy to use and feedback there is very well managed in the system.
Cons:
We've spoken to [sensitive content hidden] about all the ones listed below:-The onsite printer was giving us a bit of trouble when printing badges, some words wouldn't print of the residue from the cutting of the sticker-There needs to be a space where we can write down internal notes for a specific attendee or exhibitor -There needs to be section for notes when payment is being processed (for what?) and when a refund is made (for what?)-Customer service needs to be faster... maybe a chat function in pheedloop?-A primary contact for an exhibitor isn't necessarily an attendee and should be counted as an attendee.-A way to link the booth managers from an exhibitor to the attendee list. If I delete a booth manager, their attendee profile should be deleted as well
Best Event Management Software For Business - PheedLoop
Pros:
I like the event scheduling and management features. With PheedLoop, even managing attendees becomes easy. Besides being good in event management, it also makes event marketing and holding virtual events easy
Cons:
Well, having used PheedLoop for long, I would say it is the best solution. No complaints.
3rd year in a row!
Comments: This is our 3rd year using Pheedloop for our annual conference.
Pros:
Love having everything in one place -- registration, scheduling, communications, etc.
Cons:
Would like to see improved accessibility features and better reporting options.
Responsive, Functional, & Outstanding Service!
Comments:
The back-end functionality is super clean and easy to use once things have been explained a bit. There are a ton of features that can be applied to a variety of events, and more being added all the time.
The user-facing app is really intuitive, and having consistency between the web and mobile app made it easy to do a quick user tutorial at our event with no problem.
Awesome experience overall!
Pros:
I was originally impressed by the pricing and feature model, and once we started using it for our conference planning, it was clear that there were regular updates and feature additions that were added to it. What was even more impressive was the fantastic customer service from the PheedLoop team. Our crew had a lot of questions, and the response time was phenomenal, the reps were friendly and helpful, and any issues were dealt with right away. That means a lot when planning an event!
Cons:
Not a lot! I shared my thoughts with the PheedLoop team on our experiences, and indicated that both a change log for administrators and a stronger knowledge base area would be assets, but they are already on top of it!
