> **Pros**: Some of the most used data on our farm is generated by the planter. Field view makes it easy to record detailed information of every planter pass, and automatically upload it to the web for later review. It also seamlessly integrates multiple planters, and let us look up historical data.

> **Cons**: The software used to be a bit pricey, but the price drop a few years ago has made it one of the best values in the agricultural software market. One note of caution though, if you have a number of fields, make sure you have your naming schemes down before starting field view. If a field is off by capitalization or a couple letters, duplicate data can result, making it a chore to sort through at the end of the season.

> overall, I would find it hard to make sure I’m doing a great job planting without Climate Fieldview, and the Fieldview Cab app on the iPad. The instantaneous map from my planter is amazing for verifying it’s doing what it supposed to be doing. Being able to pull up data later on from anywhere using my iPad or iPhone is an additional feature.
