You can create really powerful and complete dashboards totally for free. They're updated in real time and you can easily share them with coworkers or clients.

Cons:

Sometimes the interface is really clumsy and is hard to update data.

Great Reporting Software That’s Hard To Use

Pros:

The massive amount of data, from many different platforms, can be compiled in many different ways for a great report.

Cons:

You almost need a PhD in computer science to program the report. Steep learning curve.

Comments: I kept it simple with this tool to start with, there's lots of helpful guides online to use until you get more confident setting up reports

There is a lot of visualisation options and data blending can be done which is helpful too

It is not self intuitive and can be quite frustrating to use until you get familiar with the tool

Comments: Looker has been amazing. It's helped us be more insightful for our clients while also allowing us to easily integrate with basically any kind of data-source a client may have to help them get more value out of their existing data sets.

Pros:

Easily pull data from hundreds of different sources to use in analysis or reporting dashboard that you can setup in minute.

Cons:

Looker has a tendency to hang/freeze if you're working on reports with a lot of elements. You sometimes have to simple close the browser and reopen it to avoid oddball errors.

Mapping Complex Relationships with Google LookerML

Comments: Being a Data analyst requires a Good BI tool and using Google looker has been a great experience for me. I am impressed with the user-friendly interface, easy to understand data modelling, and integration with other google tools like google sheet and google docs. However, there were sometimes I encountered issues with large datasets. Overall, I would say it's been a great experience.

Pros:

My most liked feature of google looker is LookML which has been a great helped me made complex data relationships easier and saved me a lot of time. Moreover, looker has a plethora of customizable visualizations which also has ability to add advanced drill down to make it more interactive. Also, with google looker reports can be delivered by specific schedules.

Cons:

Occasional lags are there when I process large data sets which I feel is a downside. Also, ETL feature is missing in Google looker which I find disappointing as it should be already there.

Comments: Given that any tool providing the features that Looker does, I do not think that any alternatives would eliminate the difficulties sometimes experienced with Looker. Therefore it is a strong choice, particularly for reporting automation and visualisation

Looker allows for you to create automated and visual reports that you can use to refer back to for use within the team as well as wider reporting to superiors/clients. It has a wide variety of features and being able to tailor dashboards exactly how you would like them gives the freedom to make reports bespoke to your needs

Cons:

It can be quite fiddly to get set up with multiple data sources, and once there are issues, if they are not promptly sorted, they can compromise the accuracy report/dashboard. Once there are issues, it can often be tricky to identify the root cause

Comments: Looker is an important tool in reporting and data analysis. The report is easy to share with others and data is always updated from the sources.

Pros:

An important feature is that you can import data from different sources easily and automatically. I have created a dashboard with all the information I need, and with the graphs created, it is easier to analyze the evolution and what needs to be done in the future.

Cons:

All the options and settings can be overwhelming for the first time.

Comments: Looker is an impressive tool for every business, it shows a lot of important data, reports are easy to share to see live results or export as a PDF.

Pros:

The most I like at Looker that I can import data from multiple sources automatically. Is very that all data is up to date when needed. Creating a dashboard with essential charts and graphs is very easy with its drag and drop builder. Another helpful thing is sharing the dashboard with other so the reports are available to all who needs any info.

Cons:

Everything works fine, no cons worth mentioning.

Comments: Looker is a great tool for every business, even though it can be a little overwhelming when setting up your dashboard for the first time.

Pros:

The biggest feature for me is the ability to import different data from different sources. Creating a dashboard with all the data you need gives you a better picture of your activity, which is easier to analyze. It offers many types of charts and graphs where you can integrate data from different sources easily. Sharing the reports with others is eay, as you can share the live report where data is updated automatically or export as a PDF.

Cons:

No cons for Looker, I wish more apps would allow users to export data to Looker automatically.

Comments: We used Looker a lot in our CEO presentations. We were wasting a lot of time trying to visualize our source data in gsheets. When we started using Looker, it saved us a lot of time and helped us a lot in making sense of the data.

Pros:

It visualizes your data in a very short time and facilitates KPI tracking. These visualizations are very important in the flow of information between teams.

Cons:

It is difficult to implement tables at first. It's a bit hard to learn, but once you get the hang of it, it gets easier to use.

The most important feature for me is that you can import all sort of data into looker. After importing creating a dashboard with information you need, charts and graphs is a easy thing. I have been using Looker from quite a while and it allows you to integrate Google sheet, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook and other channel and bring data to a single platform for analysis.
