It has greatly improved my accuracy in reporting as well as my speed. Only trouble now is that I will always struggle to go back to subpar PACS reporting systems. Studycast is definitely pricier for ultrasound image storage, but I feel that its straightforward reporting software is entirely worth the cost. The amazing IT service department makes up for the higher price as well. > > **Cons**: There seems to be fewer resources to assist in post-processing data collection, but I am able to do simple measurements in a pinch. I have definitely worked with other systems that offered even less in this area. > > Improved accuracy and speed are the two main reasons why I love this software. It does everything I want it to do. > > We transitioned from a PACS system that was managed by a consultant. It was always going down so you coudn't see images when you needed to. If the consultant wasn't available over the weekend, you weren't going to see images until Monday. Also, special software had to be installed on your computer. With Studycast, there's never been any down time. I can see images from any computer without needing special software.
