A lot of contractors/vendors sending me files either send them in a different file format or need them sent in a different file format. Nitro PDF is so helpful in that it can convert PDF files into Word and Excel file formats. > > **Cons**: I don’t have any complaints with Nitro PDF, you get the freedom to work on PDF files the way your workflow demands. To me having the program work exactly as needed is great customer service and Nitro PDF does what you purchase it for. > > Every single PDF that I edit, convert, and send out shows the exact value for money I received from purchasing this product. Nitro PDF also saves me more time by adding document signing options to PDF’s. ----- ### "Powerful and Professional" — 5.0/5 > **David** | *30 May 2026* | Business Supplies & Equipment | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: Some of the features I like most about NitroPDF are the customization option, document signing and value for the money. > > **Cons**: The only issue I might complain about is the learning curve. There are a lot of features and although they ribbon is well organized, sometimes you need to really dig to find a feature. The optimization feature could be better. It does not shrink files as much as others. > > I have tried several PDF tools, both free and paid versions and I have chosen NitroPDF as my go to application. ----- ### "Not as scummy as Adobe" — 2.0/5 > **Isaac** | *17 August 2026* | Machinery | Recommendation rating: 4.0/10 > > **Pros**: It's not adobe(yet). And that's a good thing. They are just as good at a fraction of the annoyance that Adobe is. > > **Cons**: They might not be as annoying as adobe(yet), but it will come. They sold a product and then did a rug pull when they realized they'd rather charge people again than honor their lifetime license they originally sold. ----- Page: 1 / 25\ Next: [Next page](https://www.capterra.co.uk/software/167449/nitro?page=2) ## Links - [View on Capterra](https://www.capterra.co.uk/software/167449/nitro) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | de | | | de-AT | | | de-CH | | | en | | | en-AE | | | en-AU | | | en-CA | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-IL | | | en-IN | | | en-NZ | | | en-SG | | | en-ZA | | | es | | | es-AR | | | es-CL | | | es-CO | | | es-CR | | | es-DO | | | es-EC | | | es-MX | | | es-PA | | | es-PE | | | fr | | | fr-BE | | | fr-CA | | | fr-LU | | | it | | | nl | | | nl-BE | | | pt | | | pt-PT | | ----- ## Structured Data
