Divvy is the BEST

Comments: Amazing. I truly enjoyed working with our Implementation Manager and felt like they worked with us as a partner, not a client. They were willing to work with us on all of our many asks.

Pros:

Divvy is a very innovative product that allows for you to have an all in one product. They not only issue the card, but they provide the expense management. With their help, we have been able to bring all expense coding inside Accounting to allow for our teammates in the field to just submit a receipt and a business purpose and move on.

Cons:

The reimbursement and reporting side could use some work. Divvy does not charge for reimbursements and does not make money for that part of the product, so I understand that it is not their priority, however to make a better product they would puts some resources there.

Great Credit Card and Expense Tracking Software

Comments: I have loved Divvy! I highly recommend it. We are much more streamlined and misplace way few receipts.

Pros:

I love that we now have credit cards instead of a bunch of debit cards. I like the app a lot. My employees and I get a notification immediately on our phone to upload receipts, categorize the expense, and write any notes. I also love that I have control over how much money each of my employees have access to. I can easily take away and add more.

Cons:

I have had a few cons. 1) I am supposed to get a reminder email every Monday morning with a "to-do" list. I have gotten it about 50% of the time due to bugs in the system. The same goes for my employees. 2) I would love to not be able to approve my own transactions. 3) On the transactions page, place where you add filters seems not as well organized as I would like. I would love to be able to personally edit the order of the filters. I am constantly scrolling to the bottom.

Divvy review

Comments: I really didn't get any benefit from divvy. I am very disappointed!

Pros:

I was pleasantly surprised that the system automatically shows you the pre-approved credit.Completing the application took no more than 30 minutes.

Cons:

The support service is incompetentNo one told me the reason why the application was rejectedThe impression was created that divvy only collects the personal data of the US business community.After I passed the video verification, the application was refused, which is disturbing, what is the reason to pass the video verification if the application is refused anyway.The most regrettable thing is that I sent my bank account details.When I passed the video verification, I noticed that my personal data will be kept for 3 years! I am very disappointed!

Value for Money and Easy to Use

Pros:

Easy to use, user friendly, save a ton of time and easy to mange the spends. Easily sync the transaction with accounting software, and speeds up reconciliation process. You can set limits, chose vendors. Can have access to receipts on the Go. Also rewards points is cherry on the top.

Cons:

Reimbursement process requires a lot of Improvement , especially for syncing the transaction with QBs

We love Divvy!

Comments: Divvy has been great and everyone we have come in contact with has been very helpful. I have even been able to text the guy who helped us set everything up with any questions that have come up. Customer service has been excellent!

Pros:

I love how seamlessly it syncs with QB online. Every employee loves the app, also!

Cons:

There have been issues with employees receiving the verification emails due to the email our company uses, but we have worked out the kinks.

Great Company Spend & Budgeting Tool

Comments: We wanted a solution for our different departments to have control over their spend while making sure we still had firm controls and oversight in place. Divvy met all those requirements for free.

Pros:

Divvy has a great budgeting tool that allows you to easily segment departments so that they are in control of their own spend. Their app is easy to use to keep track of reciepts and ensure your team is in compliance. Best of all everything is free.

Cons:

Getting set up and a credit line is a bit cumbersome as I have seen other companies have a much easier onboarding and offer higher levels of credit.

A Game Changer for Us!

Comments: With BIll spend and expense, it makes it very easy for us to keep track of employee expenses but everything about the platform is all amazing. We have cards for everyone but also virtual card feature is great. To be able to upload the receipt from the app and to also approve/disapprove charges is great. We are truly grateful.

Pros:

The thing we loved the most is how easy and amazing the platform in general is. We also absolutely love the mobile receipt feature. We hated keeping track of receipts.

Cons:

Honestly, nothing at this moment. We really love the product.

Budget Tracking and Purchasing

Pros:

I love using this app so I can purchase what I need and record everything. I also love that I can see how much money is left in each budget so I always know how much money there is left. If I forgot to upload a receipt, I immediately get a notification from Divvi to remember to upload the receipt. It is also very easy to request more money in a budget if needed!

Cons:

You must check while budget you have selected BEFORE going and purchasing something.

A Great Expense Management Software

Pros:

I like that it makes accounting easy and offers best features for expense management and reporting

So easy to organize

Pros:

Very aesthetically pleasing, very user-friendly. I’ve helped implement Divvy within small companies of young people and large corporations with people significantly older; easy to use, easy to put together.

Cons:

If you miss a payment…you’re on a rough road to get deactivated

A quick and easy way to manage receipts and mileage reimbursement

The ability to take photos of receipts in the app and the map feature for mileage reimbursement

Cons:

During the initial setup I remember having issues with my work email account not syncing w/ the Divvy app so I couldn't log in, but that could have been use error

Divvy Works Perfect for Small Business

Pros:

Divvy gives us exactly what we need being a small business, allows us to categorize spending, allocate budgets and pay subscriptions automatically and on time. Also, the rewards are great!

Cons:

Nothing, divvy works perfect and has all we need.

Divvy is amazing!

Comments: The people are awesome...the app is effortless....I can't imagine life without Divvy anymore.

Cons:

Need a better mileage reimbursement app, which we understand is coming.

Excellent and efficient corporate cards and expense reporting.

Comments: I am very happy with Divvy and would not want to go back to what we were using before.

Pros:

I love how easy it makes expense reporting and tracking.

Cons:

I wish the integration with Sage Intacct was simpler to implement. It is available and it does work, but we have struggled to get it running smoothly. That said, manually uploading transactions is fairly simple, so this is not a major con.

Comments: Amazing. Onboarding was great, the help videos and articles are very easy to understand and very helpful. The whole team has been great to work with.

Pros:

So many things I love about Divvy, the cards look "cool"! The app and web interface are intuitive and easy to use. The fact that Divvy syncs overnight to my accounting system makes it so that our expenses can be tracked in "nearly" real time as opposed to monthly expense reporting. Uploading and email receipts is very easy and each transaction pops up immediately which reminds employees to add a receipt and code right away.

Cons:

So far, there are only 2 things that I can think of that could use improvement:I've been told by employees that when I deny their transaction, it comes back to them without the receipt attached and the coding is gone.I would also love to have the capability to add a negative amount in a split transaction.

The best software our company purchased in 2018!

Comments: Overall, Divvy has enabled my company to gain WAY better insight into where dollars are going. We now know where we are over-budgeting and under-budgeting each month. Divvy makes tracking business expenses fun — I never thought I'd say that!

Pros:

I first learned about Divvy via the daily business newsletter, Morning Brew. I was in disbelief that the product was totally free, so I scheduled a demo call. As it turns out, Divvy really is TOTALLY free. The app is incredibly user friendly and switching/updating budgets is surprisingly easy. But while the app interface is nice, the push notifications are wonderfully helpful, and Divvy travel has us saying bye-bye to Expedia, the REAL value our agency has found in using Divvy is the virtual card feature. As the Director of Marketing Strategy at a small Marketing Technology Agency, I manage a team of people who run a plethora of digital ads campaigns for numerous clients in any given month. Divvy's virtual card feature allows us to manage media buys on behalf of our clients without needing to open 100+ credit cards (or require the client to use their card). So, we're able to manage our clients' monthly spend and charge them a small admin fee (for putting the spend on our cards) without incurring ANY credit card fees.

Cons:

Honestly, there are really only two things I dislike about Divvy: 1. That there isn't a Divvy for PERSONAL spending (I've been Googling looking for something like this for the past few weeks now...nothing seems to exist!) 2. The saving a receipt feature/adding notes feature is a little spotty at times. I find that I often need to go back into a purchase and re-upload the photo of the receipt/re-type my note. Hopefully this is a bug that gets worked out with the next app update.

Divvy changed the way we do business!

Pros:

Divvy gave us the ability to allow employees to pay for expenses with company funds as opposed to having to use their own funds and wait to be reimbursed. Divvy gives us the ability to manage requests "on the go". Divvy integrates with Quickbooks which is super helpful. Divvy rewards program fits our organization much better than previous rewards programs. It allows for multiple options and depending on what we have going on at the time, we utilize the various options given. Sometimes we take a statement credit, other times we use it for unexpected travel and yet sometimes, we find it most advantageous to receive a check that we can use for things like purchasing equipment that is needed we didn't budget for in a particular fiscal year.

Cons:

It still has some quirks that need worked out. From what we understand, it is a fairly new software. When syncing with Quickbooks, it doesn't always seem to work correctly. We have had instances where receipts disappeared that were uploaded to the mobile app. It isn't quite as intuitive as other software in our opinion. The user interface could be improved. When you go back in to update a transaction after it has been synced, you have to remember to resync it. The problem with this is that there is nothing that prompts you to do so. Overall though, we would still recommend this software.

Divvy is EASY and saves time

Comments: I have enjoyed working with ad using Divvy. Customer service is responsive and the application makes it very easy to order new cards, suspend cards, and allows for virtual cards.

Pros:

Divvy has made significant difference with reconciling credit card expenses and reducing indirect time for staff. It is easy for staff to upload receipts through out the month and allows for better tracking of expenses. The app is super easy and provides alerts to remind you to upload your receipt following a purchase.

Cons:

Sometimes the card is perceived as a prepaid card at some businesses.

One Swipe Away

Comments: I have no worries when using Divvy. It is safe and easy to use daily in our company's day to day transaction.

Pros:

Divvy is helpful in tracking expenses and integrating it with Financial Reports

Cons:

If we can issue at least 2 physical cards to one user which she/he can use for personal & company's transactions. We give personal divvy card virtually when issuing a reward.

Divvy is a must have app

Comments: A tremendous return on investment. The time savings alone are worth the cost of the app.

Pros:

The app is easy to install, easily synchs with QuickBooks and is easy to manage. A huge time saver with regard to expense reporting.

Cons:

There was really no cons to setting up and using Divvy.

Pros:

Divvy is a fantastic solution. We have been using it for 4 years and it not only saves our travelers and admin team time each month, but we feel it saves us from unnecessary spend each month. We are heavy users of Divvy with over 40 active users. We also manage all of our business software subscriptions via the virtual card solution that Divvy offers. This provides us greater visibility into spend and keeps it organized in one place. It also prevents fraud when using the virtual card solution. And come month end we easily integrate Divvy activity into our financial close in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend Divvy for companies of all sizes. It is truly a transformational expenses/card management solution that is light years ahead of the way it use to be done.

Cons:

I've been pushing for a global solution with multi-entities so we can roll out to our UK and Canadian teams. No solution offers that at this time but hoping Divvy is the first as we would likely use it.

Divvy Highly recommended

Comments: Using Divvy was the best move we have made.

Pros:

It is very easy to set up the type of users you need for your organization. I can add and remove user with ease. I downloaded my chart of accounts to help code reciepts.

Cons:

At first the reporting was not very robust but having used this product for 18 months, they have greatly imporved that functionality.

Divvy gives you back time!

Comments: It's been great. Implementation was easy, ordering was easy, every time I stumbled or had a question, it was answered right away.

Pros:

I like how quick and easy it is to send funds to the right people under the right budgets. Full control of who gets access to what. And, it automatically prompts for receipts, which eliminates a lot about paper chasing

Cons:

I wish there were auto reminders to employees with incomplete transactions.

Grow with Divvy

Comments: One of the biggest things that Divvy has helped us with is bookkeeping and categorization, and as a result we have been able to stick with our outsourced accountant for 4+ years instead of hiring a new employee. As we grow to surpass 100+ employees, we look forward to continuing to grow with Divvy and seeing what value they continue to provide.

Pros:

Divvy is ahead of its time as a product and company. The employees are high-quality, super helpful, and they have a fast chat response time and help solve your problems quickly. The product is constantly improving. It has helped us to manage spend from less than 10 employees to almost 100 employees.

Cons:

Waiting on HRIS integration with Rippling but told this is coming soon! Can't wait!
