Comments: Splashtop works very well and has a bunch of features i find usefull such as two factor authentication which guarantees me my connections are safe.
Pros:
Splashtop is supported on windows, mac and even linux and as so i can use it on any laptop or computer we have at the company. Splashtop also offers a free trail.
Cons:
Remote printing on Splashtop sometimes does not work so well and needs a few tries to work.

Simple, Easy Remote Access. A MUST for MSP's
Comments: Fantastic! I wish I could use it for my personal network.
Pros:
Easy to deploy, access and use. Splashtop really is a must-have remote agent for MSP's regardless of size.
Cons:
The only issue I have with Splashtop is that I wish I could deploy it for personal use. It's an amazing product and my go-t0 remote access agent.

Comments: Overall this is a good tool, with a little bit of improvement it would be great.
Pros:
Splashtop works great to remote in to another PC and assist or repair. The file transfer feature works great and the tool is fairly easy to use.
Cons:
The resolution of the remote PC could use some upgrading, often it seems a bit blury or hard to see. Splashtop requires the user to allow the connection or if it times out it will allow you in. sometime I need to over ride the user and they just reject the remote session when I try to connect.

Comments: I really like it. Much better than the prior system the company used.
Pros:
Ease of use and simple navigation with Splashtop is much better than other programs our company has used.
Cons:
My mouse appears to have two mouse pointer arrows, but only one is active. This can be confusing, and it may be some display settings that are entirely unrelated to Splashtop.

This is the product you need!
Comments: I was a former user of GoToMyPC. Always had problems with not being able to connect. I found Splashtop and decided to give it a try. I am totally happy with Splashtop and have no desire to look for anything else. It does everything that I need it to do and is so easy to use. Thanks Splashtop for a great product!
Pros:
Easy to use for remote computer work, programming, and audio file transfers. I have used Splashtop from all over the world with very few complications. Usually, the complications are from a lack of service from my remote locations.
Cons:
I can’t think of anything I don’t like. Splashtop does everything I need it to do.

A Fantastic Remote Client with File Transfer
Pros:
It is easy to use, easier to deploy, secure, and provides rock solid file transfer for larger files.
Cons:
The cost is a bit higher than I'd usually afford - that said, there's nothing comparable at this value point.

Great experience with Splashtop
Comments: We have been using Splashtop SOS for many years now and started using Splashtop Business during the pandemic to provide remote support to our Zoom Room devices.
Pros:
Splashtop has all of the features we need to use daily to provide remote support to our community. You can respond to UAC prompts remotely, transfer files to/from the user's computer, and even lock the mouse if needed.
Cons:
Walking a user through downloading a mobile app or approving all of the permissions needed to use Splashtop on a newer Mac can be kind of a pain, but that is the result of built-in security features in the operating systems, not anything on Splashtop's end.
Alternatives Considered: Webex Suite, ConnectWise ScreenConnect, TeamViewer Remote, Adobe Connect and LogMeIn
Reasons for Choosing Splashtop: Splashtop is far easier and more user-friendly than walking someone through sharing their screen via Skype and giving you control. It also lets you respond to UAC prompts.
Switched From: Skype
Reasons for Switching to Splashtop: Splashtop had all the features we wanted at a much better price point than any alternative products.

Excellent for remote control!
Comments: This is our go to solution when on business trips, during the pandemic it was instrumental to keep our business going.
Pros:
Very easy to set up. It is very stable and accurate. You can have several computers, laptops, tablets configured to control in your group, for a single user.
Cons:
There is actually not a single thing I dislike.

Use Splashtop to Facilitate Remote Access, and Presentations
Comments: I have a few computers that I have set up permanent remote access to. For these computers, I can initiate remote access in an unattended state, or without anyone's permission. This is very useful for computers I can administer remotely. I uses the SOS tool on an as-needed basis to do one time support sessions to help a user with a hardware or software problem. I also use the SOS tool to share my screen and present ideas, or show project progress.
Pros:
Splashtop gives me the ability to take my computer expertise and use it to help others. It also gives me the ability to present ideas and to demonstrate designs without the need to meet in person. It allows a collaboration between all the information on both the sender's and the user's computers.
Cons:
It can be challenging for the non-savvy computer user to download and install the SOS app. I usually have to walk them through the process. I don't see where this process could be simplified, I just see some of my clients struggle with it. I think it is a great security feature, forcing them to be fully involved in the decision making process of allowing remote access to their computer.

Love that I can work from home or when I am on the road. It is imperative that I am able to log-in to my desktop computer at work to access my work and schedule. Splashtop allows me to do this easily.

It can be a little slow or delayed at times, but overall it is great!!

Comments: Always worked, easy, and great if you have an endless IT budget.
Pros:
It's pretty easy to set up, has all the features you would need to be able to remote on someone's machine without hassle and do what needs be done.
Cons:
The cost of what this product actually does is highly inflated. Should be at least half the cost of what it is now.

Splashtop to the rescue
Comments: Splashtop has been good and reliable over the years plus something we've deployed hundreds of times so overall a very reliable remote access tool.
Pros:
Splashtop we have used for many years and it has a really easy deployment along with being updated frequently, all the standard features plus a few extras are included out the box.
Cons:
The change of licence model now makes Splashtop really expensive if you need to scale up number of devices in your account, it used to be much less expensive and some of the new features are good but come with an increase in cost.

Good product for my needs
Comments: The key benefit is to be able to work from home which I am now doing full time.
Pros:
It is very easy to use. I was not involved in the decision making process of which remote linking program to obtain when COVID hit. I like that it quickly connects with my work computer.
Cons:
Since I have multiple monitors, I have the business version of the program and occasionally it tells me I don't have the right level to access both monitors but it is easily resolved, just annoying. Other than that, I don't really have any cons.

Good Cost effective multi-platform remote desktop
Comments: Requirement to remotely troubleshoot tablets and desktops, without a site visit, or awkward "press this button" coaching.
Pros:
Easy deployment for windows machines. (We used GPO and PDQ Deploy). Requirement was to have one central remote support tool for multiple types of devices, including Windows PC, android tablets, and iPhones. Included both a web client, and thick client. Integrated with Azure for SSO.Can separate devices by any logical grouping (site, type, etc)
Cons:
Flakey install sometimes. It would not take MSI arguments, so I had to create 4 different transform files and associated GPOs for each site for logical grouping.

Use in Healthcare Setting
Comments: I have been very please with Splashtop. Our office has used it for 4+ years, and it has been an asset to our practice.
Pros:
I like that I am able to easily use my practice management software along with Splashtop to seamlessly send referrals and needed info to other medical offices.
Cons:
I don't know of any cons to speak of. Sometimes, if I am working remotely and have a poor signal, it doesn't work. That is more of an issue on my end and not due to Splashtop.

Critical tool for our business
Comments: I have used Spashtop to access our office from Coast to Coast in Canada, many locations in USA and Mexico without issue. Very effective tool for me.
Pros:
Splashtop allows me to virtually work on a computer in another location. Easily transfer files, print and use programs. It is fast and reliable.
Cons:
My wish list is to be able to print locally from the remote computer.
