### "Only Effective in the Idexx Ecosystem" — 4.0/5

> **Pros**: Petly was demoed to us after several years of using Idexx Cornerstone and lamenting the lack of an ability to charge and track for planned services.  For us, that meant not being able to track up to 10 weeks of rehabilitation, including UWT, laser, acupuncture, massage, and other services.  Billing at time of service rendered, even with a system in place to track packages of pre-purchased treatments was not foolproof.  Petly seemed to help with that by providing a contract style system integrated with Cornerstone to alleviate this issue.  During setup, it seemed to make sense how the system would work, but took some additional unraveling of our workaround in Cornerstone to be able to implement Petly Plans and train staff.

> **Cons**: Due to the implementation time involved we were not able to fully utilize the plans by the time we made the decision to leave Cornerstone in favor of a cloud based platform.  The current platform we use has a native plans system and we no longer require Petly, especially since it is native to Idexx.

> The overall experience of setting up Petly was fine, but is a very robust system that unfortunately took too long to implement before we made practice-wide decisions that impacted our long term use.

> **Pros**: The ease of client/patient set-up and use of this product is wonderful.  It is a breeze to train new employees to use and clients seem to be pretty pleased with it as well.

> **Cons**: There really isn't anything I can say I do not like about this software.  Perhaps if a clinic wasn't paperless and had limited computer usage, it might be a bit more of a "process" for them.
