Pros: Easy for anyone to add posts, even less technical people. Easy to implement for the users. People like the option of getting emails or just using the site. The ability to comment easily, and to like without commenting has helped engage our entire employee base, including a significant number of virtual people. We've only had a couple of problems in the year we've been using it. The customer service is amazing when we do need it. Whether I've used chat or email, they are quick to respond.

Cons: The search functionality could be better. As our site has grown, it's harder to find specific posts. We haven't used the Wiki option very much yet, but it doesn't appear to have good visibility over what's been changed or added and by whom. Good revision tracking, but when just reading, you can't see updates easily.

This system allows communication between groups of people who share a context.

Pros: It is very dynamic how to prepare different static pages of blogs with information that you want to share with your group of contacts.
The group of contacts can grow or decrease if the administrator so requires.
The way to establish a conversation among many who may be sharing the same office or may be in different geographical sites, is very simple, since the interface highlights the participations of each person. In addition, the administrator can keep a record in your email of the accesses and participations that other invited users have had on your blog.
A truly useful tool to manage news, comments, discussions, in order to facilitate communication.

Cons: It can become a bit cumbersome for the administrator saturation of your email with all notifications derived from the participation of users to the blog. However, this in turn has advantages since this detailed record is preserved separately.
Another disadvantage is that there are very few days that the trial version offers to test it, after that it is necessary to acquire the license for this competitive tool.

Comments: Overall, I was looking for a site to manage my blog posts and try out. I only try out a few trial sites and this was one that I love so much. I like how I am able to go on it and see how everything is. I don’t like to have only a few days to try things, so this was really nice. This site did what it’s supposed to do and there are so many options in the setting area. I don’t like to have only one or two options. I like to have many. The options they gave me were really neat and not complicated.

Pros: I like how I am able to work with my team on the blog posts that I am writing. I also love how I am able to try this site out before doing more work on it. This is a nice site where I can add other freelance writers to this site and all they have to do is get an invitation from me. When I am working with other people I need to keep track on who is writing what blog post. This is very helpful especially when I have loads of people wanting to write. This is a quick way to get started and I love how I get to manage everything that is posted. I love the activity log option where I can see what is going on and who wrote what. I also love how I can set up each blog post in categories and I get to be in control of that. I get to write what category each blog post could possible go into. The usage status button is also creative and I am able to see the status on everything that is going on. I can add a new page to my blog site, so I can also add new topics on each page. This is very well put together. I can also add my company logo without a problem and the other options help me set up my blog with no issues.

Cons: The only thing I dislike is how everything seems a bit small and tiny on the unpublished page area. I know this isn’t the exact blog page area, but it would be nice if it was bigger. I would love if the whole page was really big. The options on the left-hand side are tiny and the words are a bit small. This would be cool if they had an option to increase it on the actual blog site web page.

We absolutely love BlogIn. We use it to spread knowledge and facilitate brief team communications

Comments: We use it as collaborative information sharing forum to help promote positive news/stories/events amongst our internal community. We also use BlogIn to share and archive our collective knowledge widely with the team.

Pros: BlogIn enables us to better communicate and collaborate across all of our markets. It replaced our e-newsletter and helps us to deliver timely news and content. One of the great benefits of BlogIn is that you'll feel like you know how to use it right from the get go as the format includes many features that are typically seen across different social media channels.

Cons: I would like more options to integrate with other services, for example with Slack. I was informed that Slack integration is already in development, so I am looking forward to that.

Comments: this may be good to help start-ups with their knowledge base, company announcements, etc. but one can only go so far with this site.

Pros: straightforward interface, new users will be able to move inside and start working on the blog right away. menu items are color-coded, so it's easy to identify each menu item.
While editing the blog page, copy-pasting formatted items - not much problem (links not incuded, though).
love the youtube/video site embedding, inserting new paragraphs in-between items has a guide, so editing and updating is much faster. you can also mention other members of your site with the usual @ sign so they can be notified. rss feed for the posts are also available.

Cons: finding a way to make employees open the company blog can be a pain, this may be good for HR to post company events/activities. i'm afraid other bigger software may also be able to offer this as an add-on/feature. exporting your posts to another site/format/document is also not available.
