Reviews of Ideagen Quality Management
Great Support, Product Needs Some Streamlining
Comments: Overall the software can be relied upon, its robust once set up and is highly customisable. The Ui is quite awkward and convoluted at times and takes time to learn. Support is great:- very quick to respond to issues and are willing to spend the time to work through problems to ensure they are fixed.
Pros:
Great support from the ideagen team, willing to help build your software install and spend hours troubleshooting issues. support is often quick and concise.
Cons:
Sometimes a very convoluted product, the UI has been added to for a number of years and could do with some refactoring/streamlining.
Q-pulse is a tool used by my organisation to successfully continues to meet regulatory requirements
Comments: Q-Pulse enables business to comply with regulations that lead to accreditations of the work my company does.
Pros:
Ideagen Q-Pulse QMS is user friendly software. Q-Pulse support is very responsive and efficient in sorting any issues we might have. Recently, we successfully migrated to the new version of software and the team behind upgrade made the transition very easy.
Cons:
It would be great for academy training modules (all including advanced) are available without additional cost to the oragnisations.
Quality and Reporting Management system
Pros:
The software has various modules and is configurable to your liking. You can customise the workflow to your preferences and have the ability to build forms and templates yourself. It also has an easy access management module. You can also set up workflows for stages with different actions depending on the workflow you need.
Cons:
The software lacks a proper reporting application for operational staff. In addition, there is no suitable place for administering safety impact risk assessments in line with aviation regulations.
Great product but due an upgrade now
Pros:
As an administrator, you can do a lot and set it up the way you like it. Notifications work great as well.
Cons:
No logic while building reports. Dashboards are poor.
Q-Pulse - a comprehensive and customizable Quality Management System
Comments: Comprehensive and customizable system. It does well what it's supposed to do.
Pros:
Documentation Control and CAPA/Workflow modules work well and allow my organization to maintain compliance and improve our internal processes. Supplier Control and Audit module also perform well.
Cons:
User interface is dated and sometimes software is not the most intuitive to use.
Great customer support!
Pros:
The customer support is great! A very personalised service with a dedicated account manager for our account. This keeps us organised and means that requests are actioned quickly. The system is logical and relatively easy to use from a supplier approval point of view.
Cons:
The templates can be restrictive to adjust if you want to amend the SAQ and spec template. You cannot view the portal from the customer perspective so can be difficult to assist with enquires, although our dedicated QADEX support manager is always on hand to help.
Fair Q-Pulse Review
Comments: Good - our account manager [sensitive content hidden] is really helpful and always responds to any queries. We have feel supported. The cost is so high for the modules we will not be purchasing any more.
Pros:
The layout is good. The administrator functions are easy to use.The document module is great and functions exactly how we need it to.
Cons:
To make changes, build reports etc - this can seem really complicated and takes alot of time to do. Much more training would be required to become competent at this which comes at s big cost. The modules are really expensive - we would like to have more but cost completely restricts this.
Good basic system but could be improved for the future
Pros:
Relatively easy to use and get non-Quality professionals set up on the system. Most of the modules and forms follow a logical format.
Cons:
Not enough customisation available, system looks outdated and can be slow.
Useful product for tracking and storing documents
Comments: We didn’t have quality management software prior to this purchase so I don’t have much to compare it to, but I really like having the software. It seems to really help us keep track of everything.
Pros:
I like having all of our quality documents and policies in one place. I don’t have to search different places on the network to find what I am looking for, and I like the search feature.
Cons:
It has a steep learning curve and takes a bit to get used to and figure out how to use.
IQM Hosp Review
Pros:
Easy to use, modules interact, has revolutionised our QMS overnight!
Cons:
Non to date. We are in the implementation stage but things have been smooth so far.
Great Bang for Your Buck
Pros:
The training was easy to follow and customize for our comfort and availability.
Cons:
Getting the workflows the way we wanted was a little challenging but Ideagen offered additional professional hours that we used to cover those key areas.
Q-pulse review
Pros:
Found it really easy to use and the features are very useful.
Cons:
Some of the steps are tedious when filling out audits or non-conformities as the names/dates do not auto-populate.
Very useful portal for supplier management and complaint management
Comments: Our complaints procedure is definitely a smoother process with all the information held in one place with the ability to extract management information, including visual graphs, to show trend analysis. Our SLA process is now much easier with a standardised form giving no options for interpretation by the supplier on what information is needed.
Pros:
easy to use portal, which you can access all aspects via one single log in. All the relevant information is at your fingertips via the dashboard which is easy to use.
Cons:
The portal can be slow at times due to busy usage, but not excessively so.
Customer Care Review
Comments: When it works, it is great, but more often than not there a technical glitches which cause the system to work inefficiently. If these were minimised then a lot of time would be saved.
Pros:
The representation of visual data (complaints) and ability to drill down/filter to see more in depth information. I like that this can be exported into an excel sheet.
Cons:
Functions within complaints management can be difficult to navigate, pathways could be made more simple. Dashboard data e.g., complaint number seem to experience random changes..
Solid product, easy setup.
Pros:
On the IT side, setup and maintenance have been easy and smooth. On the user side things are also pretty smooth, and easy to use.
Cons:
Document collaboration isn't a direct part of Ideagen Quality Management.
Excellent tool for Supplier & Audit management
Comments: Great overall features and client customer service
Pros:
Easy to use & great tool for supplier & audit management; great customer service and client management.
Cons:
Can sometimes lag when filtering large data of historical data.
Excellent system to help manage supplier approval, specification and complaints.
Pros:
Great system and client customer service.
Cons:
Option for searching probably needs to be looked at as sometimes it is not very easy to find information.
Qadex is a key piece of information for technical teams
Comments: A highly important system to business and one that is easy to use.
Pros:
The account managers make everything seamless and easy to use. Any problems are quickly resolved.

Occasional crashes and system hangs which force a refresh.
Qadex Vision is a very useful tool
Comments: Overall, is a good tool to use.
Pros:
It is very useful tool management in all aspect. Very interactive and easy to use. A little training, you are there to go.
Cons:
I personally find it useful and haven't identify any set back yet.
Qadex
Comments: Help to manage supplier approval and specification management.
Pros:
From a customer perspective good, easy to navigate interface. More importantly a Key Account Manager who is helpful, responsive and supportive of our needs.
Cons:
Completing documents as a supplier, the interface is not the most user friendly.
Reliable, but complex.
Pros:
Lots of functionality, QPulse does what we need it to, and can be adapted for a variety of purposes.
Cons:
Very complex, with a long learning period.
Great Product for Managing Quality
Comments: Overall - I'm very happy with Qualtrax. I tell my lab director 'Give me two to three years to get Qualtrax purring for me than I can kick back and relax." I'm tired of being a 'clerical' QAO who spends all my time moving paperwork from the inbox to a file folder. I can see how Qualtrax will reduce the amount of paperwork going over my desk, so I can concentrate on other quality projects. Technical support is just an email away and they have been so great about getting back to me and assisting me in all my beginner questions. Qualtrax Tech support outshines any support for any other software that I've used.
Pros:
Before Qualtrax, in document management, so much of my time was caught up in writing memos, marking up documents and distributing information. With Qualtrax, the system is automated for me. I can make the changes in a document, send it for the review process and once approved, my staff is informed on the changes through email. Training - I can create the training assignment once and set the training so it can be automatically assigned to a specific set of staff members each year. An email is sent to everyone assigned for the training. They complete the training and I can run a report to see who was assigned and who completed the training. The reports are easy to create and view. No more stacks of paperwork to collate and file. No more Excel spreadsheets tracking who did and didn't do the training. Supervisors can see who did what training without coming to my office. The last powerful feature of Qualtrax I'm using the most are the workflows. I can make workflows to mimic the processes we do in the lab to reduce the amount of paperwork floating through my lab. Great for showing compliance to your Quality System without the piles of paperwork. Archiving of old paperwork. It's great to archive old paperwork for the Quality program into Qualtrax so everyone who has the proper security rights in Qualtrax can see the paperwork. Empty drawers and no more notebooks in a few months.
Cons:
Would like to see more videos and training documents for processes in Qualtrax especially the workflows. Their user manual is good, but so much more could be shown in a video.
Qualsys EQMS delivers the Expectation
Comments: As an independent, Implementation and Validation Consultant, I have worked with Qualsys on several client projects, and can honestly say that they deliver over and above expectation. Not only are they highly responsive in the Pre-Sales process (like most), this level of responsiveness continues throughout your journey of engagement: Project Management, Implementation, Go-Live and then into BAU. They have really thought about the most important component - "The Customer". Also, when you have an issue or something that just needs sorting out, you can pick-up the phone where you get to speak to an actual human-being .. Yes, it really is true (actual people).. try it for yourself, it is refreshing in this day of the robot society.
Pros:
The system can be implemented in a phased approach, focusing effort on core needs to enable a faster go-live timescale, to start benefiting from the systems capabilities. User Interface and the overall Experience; supports the ease-of-use, to get stakeholders engaged with the system and adopting new ways of working from the perspective of distributing the 'quality culture' throughout the organisation. The system has excellent 'touch points' for staff to take ownership of their documents and quality events; to ensure execution and closure in a timely manner. I particularly like the systems workflow engine, in how it directs the events and keeps your tasks on track. Furthermore, the integration of Business Intelligence to immediately review your KPIs and current Compliance Position, hits the sweet spot for effective (right now) decision making. I also liked the balance between out of the box, light touch setup to developing additional user-needs configuration, under the ITIL Change Management methodology, rather than having to do lots of heavy configuration on Day 1, then having to re-think it all at a later point. Overall, this system offers an intuitive platform based approach, that will appeal to multiple business teams, management and implementers/validators of such systems.
Cons:
No particular dislikes noted. In one particular implementation, the custom fields in Document Manager would not merge the meta-data to the document file. It was only designed for the core meta data fields. However, I raised this as a change request to the vendor, and they were able to facilitate the capability in a quick time frame, which did not impede the requirements to have additional data automation into the document file.

This is such a thoughtful review Paul, thank you so much. We are all incredibly grateful for sharing your journies with EQMS.
They Just Get It!
Comments: The folks at Qualtrax are passionate about their product and it shows whenever you interact with them. They are eager to help and eager to make their product better. They listen to their customer-base and make improvements and enhancements based off that feedback. That's not something you experience very much with today's technology. The people at Qualtrax just understand the importance of what you're doing.
Pros:
We have been using Qualtrax since 2012 and we moved to the Hosted version of Qualtrax in 2017. Having control over every aspect of your documents lifecycle, whether hosted or not, is powerful. And Qualtrax is a powerful application. Complete control over you documents, processes, workflows, testing and training. The most exciting part for me from an administrative and IT front - this is THE most worry-free application we use. It works flawlessly and reliably!
Cons:
I wish there were more video tutorials or vlogs on how to get the most out of Qualtrax (Workflows - yes please!). Qualtrax support is top notch though and they have no problems with getting what you need in a timely fashion. I just want more!
The more you use it, the more useful it can be.
Comments: Stellar.
Pros:
We are finding new items we can document control and track in Qualtrax every day. We use it not only for ISO compliance, but Health and Safety as well. Once we complete our certification, and are a fully functioning laboratory, we may find even more uses. All of the preloaded items we found very useful and have put them into use. The training and support team have been very helpful with any questions, and the monthly meetings I've had with our [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is an unusual aspect to this company that I have found wonderful. It's nice to know they are invested in the product.
Cons:
I have not had any problems to date. When I had a question, the support team was able to help me within the same day.
