Comments:
As a small business owner, Vagaro is really helpful. By using the Vagaro app, users can easily appoint the service.
On my end, its very easy to set , and learn the basics, such as scheduling auto reminders and emails for customers. It has the option to identify roles like owner, sales customer service bookkeeper, etc., so I can easily divide tasks.
Pros:
Simple to configure and set up; proper guidelines are available for that As a small business owner, it is difficult to handle all the responsibilities associated with running a business. Vagaro really helps me to divide tasks and set automated reminders and emails. Payment options also secure here.
Cons:
Paying the swipe fee for every credit card transaction is kind of a headache for me. It's a good option to take a one-time payment, like in this situation.
Recommended for staying organized with health & wellness appointments!
Comments: I've had great experience using this software and it always makes it easy to book and keep appointments organized.
Pros:
I have always had such an easy time booking appointments with Vagaro. Their scheduling feature is especially easy to use.
Cons:
This might be the fault of the vendor rather than Vagaro, but once, I used an address listed in Varago to go to an appointment and it was an old address. It would be great if Varago confirmed information like this to avoid issues.

Vagaro lacks Google Business Integration
Comments: Overall, my experience with Vagaro was ok. I would not recommend it to new business owners just because of the fact that they are not integrated with Google Business and the price. When people find you on Google and want to book appointments, they get stuck if Vagaro is the appointment platform you are with. This frustrated my potential clients and lost me a lot of business, so I would not recommend it.
Pros:
What I liked most about Vagaro was that I can add employees under me easily. It was easy to set up and get my business moving.
Cons:
I was very disappointed that Vagaro was not integrated with my Google page. It was very difficult to switch from Square to Vagaro because of this. When clients would book appointments, it would go to my Square Appointment Setter because Vagaro would not integrate with Goodgle, which was so odd to me. Also, the monthly payments for an app that doesn’t integrate with Google Business is way too high. As a small business owner it’s very important that we cut corners every which way we can; and I think that the people who decided to charge what Vagaro charges did not have the customer in mind when deciding, just maybe their profit. In the end I had to leave Vagaro because I found a cheaper app that intergraded very well with my Google Business. I have reached out and complained to them about this but got nowhere.
Alternatives Considered: GlossGenius
Reasons for Choosing Vagaro: Because Square integrated easily with Google and when customers found my page they booked me directly on Google, then Square would send me email notifications. Square made this whole process very easy for me
Switched From: Square Point of Sale, Square Payments, Acuity Scheduling and Square Appointments
Reasons for Switching to Vagaro: Because I thought Vagaro would be better

Beware the inflated reviews and heavy SEO. Vagaro isn't what it seems
Comments: Vagaro is absolutely awful. Non-existent tech support couldn't get my booking button up on instagram and google for 4 weeks and counting. Their system is super convoluted and requires a ton of unnecessary steps. You can't just punch in a dollar amount and charge people when you need to do a quick sale. You have to make a customer and add their info. I've had many customers come to me and complain about their online booking system also. I will be taking all my consulting clients off Vagaro
Pros:
Vagaro looks great on the surface because they dedicate a tremendous amount of resources to SEO and inflating reviews.
Cons:
Unnecessary steps for us and for clinets. Awful support. Non-refundable equipment. Booking integrations doesn't work. List goes on

Reasons for Choosing Vagaro: Because I wanted more data and integrations to properly manage memberships and google analytics metrics
Switched From: Phorest
Reasons for Switching to Vagaro: because it had better reviews. But apparently these reviews are all inflated

Vagaro is easy and so convenient!
Comments: I use Vagaro as a customer for a few salons in our area. We love the ability to choose the date, time, stylist/tech and receive reminders about appointments.
Pros:
How easy it is to make an appointment, and the helpful notification/reminder process.
Cons:
More businesses need to get on board and use Vagaro!
