Unfortunately, that does not outweigh the reliability issues, bugs and lack of effective support when something goes wrong. > > **Cons**: Our biggest concern with RoomRaccoon is what happens when the system does not work. A hotel operates 24/7 and is heavily dependent on its PMS for reservations, check-ins, payments, room availability and daily operations. Unfortunately, we have experienced too many bugs and technical issues. The most frustrating part is that when something goes wrong, it is very difficult to reach someone who can actually help solve the problem. You may be able to contact support, but that does not necessarily mean you are speaking to someone who can immediately investigate or resolve a critical issue. For a hotel, this is a serious problem. Our operation does not stop when the system has an issue. Guests still arrive, payments still need to be processed and reservations still need to be managed. For business-critical software, reliable technical support should be available when it is needed most.
