This software made it possible for its users to build fast loading websites through its AMP feature (Accelerated Mobile Page). For an Android app developer, mobilerise made it possible for me to design html5 fancy templates using its rich features of bootstrap which makes the templates to adjust well on all mobile devices then I finally compile the HTML files generated by mobirise into .apk file using an external software. I love its icons, countdown timer and the most interesting part of this software is, you can host your website on mobirise subdomain or point your custom domain to their server which saves you extra money of purchasing a web hosting. > > **Cons**: If by any reason you change your computer, retrieving your raw mobirise website projects on a new computer using your mobirise registered account is not possible. Seems like they don't backup raw website projects of their users on their server. Free versions of mobirise has embed footer link that can't be removed unless you have a basic knowledge of JavaScript to remove the link if you remove the link, your website will crash right away so purchasing the paid version is a must for a total freedom of the software and if you host your website on their server be ready to see a pop-up of their brand name with an embedded link. In that sense, it's a lot like any number of online website builders (Wix, Weebly, etc), but unlike those, you're free to host your site anywhere. The basic app is free, and really gives you all you need. It's about as WYSIWYG as you can get—editing text is like editing the live site in a web browser. The UI is very simple and minimalistic, but it works. It's also responsive, allowing you to display your page in desktop or mobile view with a single click. > > **Cons**: If you're a designer, or anyone who likes to have full control over the look of your design, Mobirise probably isn't for you.
