"Still the best all round conferencing and meeting room service"

We have loved using Zoom over the years and currently have no plans to change. It is well loved by our employees and makes communication with our clients professional and reliable.
Pros:
We have been using Zoom since 2016 and found the experience fantastic and very happy with the product. We started with just Zoom Rooms and then gave everyone an individual license when everyone shifted to WFH during covid and the transition couldnt have been simpler. Zoom made that period so much easier for us. The video conferencing is always of high quality and very reliable. Bugs and issues are sorted in a professional and timely manner and they customer support provides timely responses. Our employees love using this platform and find it superior to using Google Meet or Teams and gives us a credible platform to engage with out clients which as a Google Workspace customer is important. The interop function of Zoom Rooms has been invaluable to us and means we can easily engage with external companies whatever the platform of choice. Teh digital signage looks great as well in all our meeting rooms
Cons:
Zoom has become a little bloated in the last couple of years as they try to cram as many featurs in as possible. We use Phone, Video Conferencing, Zoom Rooms and digital signage. As we dont use the chat, email or storage functions this makes it feel like we are paying for a lot of things we dont need. We also like the integration of Google Meeting into our exisiting Google Workspace infrastructure and Gemini which is difficult to recreate in Zoom

Really simple to use and very convenient. Personally, it allows me to work remotely and still be connected to my team through daily video calls, not just audio-only conversations
Pros:
Super easy to send out invites and schedule calls for 1-to-1 calls all the way to webinars with 1000s of viewers. Nice annotation features when someone is sharing their screen
Cons:
One problem is that everyone has a different microphone volume. It would be nice if there were better "audio balancing" where louder microphones are made quieter and vice versa for quieter ones.
It would also be nice to have some way to highlight people who are talking at once due to lag. It can be hard to identify who was speaking in large calls

Zoom Workplace provide a platform that we can reply on; remove the need to maintain hardware on-prem.
Features rich Zoom meeting not only allow us to support users that English is not their native but also users with visual and hearing impairment
Pros:
We were able to remove all on-prem servers and hardware from legacy system on both voice and video.
We can now provide unified experience for our end users using single client application is available on most devices and OS. Our users no longer need to switch between application for voice and video.
The flexibility of the system allow us to comply with countries we operate in and maintain the same security feature and data protection.
Cons:
The licensing can be difficult to navigate; use can easily end up with paying for features that are not applicable to their organization.
Zoom is a enterprise products that smaller company might find it too feature rich.

"Zoom beats all alternatives I've tried"

I've been impressed from early on. I've been using Zoom both as a general user and also for hosting larger meetings. It adapts well to all these situations and can even include phone-in users when needed.
Pros:
Does what it sets out to do with minimal problems, decent controls and very reliable servers. Plenty of settings to tweak, and adapts well to varying bandwidths and fluctuating speeds.
Cons:
A few UI design issues make life a little hard for hosts and co-hosts, but this is a minor complaint.

Zoom Workplace has integrated features that accommodate chats, collaboration, sharing documents and screens. This allows for flexible and instant feedback which is the critical factor in reciprocal communication that this tool was designed for.
Pros:
I like that you can use whiteboards and documents which are all saved for ease of reference the next session. It also offers great value for money as the free version is usually long enough to stay focused for a productive session/ meeting.
Cons:
I mostly use Zoom Workplace for teaching. This ideally means collaborators should join from desktops or laptops. When using the mobile app, they are not able to follow as easily and use all the useful features. I almost wish Zoom Workplace did not have a mobile version.
