Reviews of Buffer
Fantastic tool for social media management
Comments: With several social networks to manage with posts, buffer monitoring solves the need for duplicated and repetitive work.
Pros:
Being able to manage several social networks in one place with the possibility of scheduling posts and monitoring engagement is one of the features that caught my attention.
Cons:
In itself the tool is excellent, however, with the emergence of other tools on the market and with more attractive prices I had to stop using it, however, I recommend it as it does its job perfectly.
Perfect for Big Teams
Comments: Over it has been great. I really appreciate the customer service
Pros:
That we can incporate our whole team without being overcharged for each team member! I also appreciate how easy it is to use and that they have an app. This is great for onboarding new users.
Cons:
I wish it notified admins faster when a post is drafted for approval and alternatively I wish it notified the person who submitted the post for approval when there post is approved and what time it is approved for.
Alternatives Considered:
User-friendly but sometimes a bit clumsy
Comments: Overall Buffer fits quite alright with the small businesses, but is definitely not a good choice for bigger companies.
Pros:
Buffer offers an intuitive and user-friendly interface, making it accessible even for beginners. I also liked the fact the platform provides content suggestions and ideas to help you create engaging social media posts. There is even a free plan option that is efficient for very small businesses and individuals.
Cons:
The free plan has limited features and restrictions, so I went for the paid plan. It's still a bit clumsy sometimes, with recurrent bugs and tech issues. For example, it's very hard to post on LinkedIn (no tagging available). It's also not possible to post on Instagram.
Just ok, nothing great
Pros:
Nice and clean interface for desktop, easy to use.
Cons:
Beeds better support fot diffrent image formats.
Alternatives Considered:
Easy and Powerful!
Comments: Excellent tool that doesn't hinder workflow and is easy to use.
Pros:
A powerful tool that helps keep all our social media content organized and easy to schedule.
Cons:
I liked everything about Buffer. It was super easy to use and it was effective
Alternatives Considered:
Solid social media management platform with reasonable price.
Comments: Good platform for solid social media connections and publishing features. It would be nice if the interactive features were included for the base price.
Pros:
I like their logo and their multi platform functionality.
Cons:
I dislike having to pay more for the interactive inbound connectivity.
Buffer is amazing for managing 3 accounts
Pros:
I love how easy it is to setup your posts and just launch them with very little hassle.
Cons:
The 10 post cap on the free plan. Also, when posting to multiple accounts, it can get a bit confusing if you're not watching what you're doing.
Alternatives Considered:
Save time from Linkedin and Twitter scheduling
Comments: Overall is good. I use it every week and not so much. but it saves me the hassle of having to write and edit content directly on the social media channel.
Pros:
I could easily connect the channels I use for the brand. I like it supports Twitter threads and also lets me tag other companies in Linkedin post
Cons:
I can't tag friends or contacts from LinkedIn. Only companies. I don't like the scroll down of time selecting when scheduling
Buffer is worth the money
Pros:
I saved the company $500 by switching to Buffer. I enjoy the software for scheduled post and analytics.
Cons:
The interface is pretty dull but simple.
Alternatives Considered:
Great Product in a Crowded Market
Pros:
The price and different tiers allow you to pay a lower cost if you are looking for more basic needs. If you only manage a few accounts, this can be a great low-cost solution.
Cons:
The amount of accounts you can have on low cost options is not many, and I wish it had integration with Google Business.
It is a basic but essential tool for social network programming
Comments: We utilize Buffer to coordinate our company's presence across numerous social media platforms. We can upload all of our content by using it to schedule the publication calendar. Content is reviewed and approved by the user's permission level. Using Buffer, we can see at a glance whether or not we have scheduled too much or too little material across all of our social media channels. I have used Buffer for about three years, and it has helped me a lot in my work; also, its cost could be a lot higher, and being a very intuitive tool, it represents a good investment. It is very suitable for anyone, whether a professional or a beginner; it works very well for small, medium, or large companies; it is ideal for people who want to edit an image for a publication on social networks.
Pros:
It's a fantastic platform for social media management with many helpful features (including adding text to images before posting them on social media) and helpful customer service (including the possibility to schedule posts in advance across multiple channels). It has a straightforward design that makes it easy to get up and running. And let's remember its review system, enabling us to check articles for coherence well before publication.
Cons:
Fixing the problems you have when you try to contact users and when users try to respond would be a big step in the right direction.
User friendly social media scheduler
Comments: Time saver, user-friendly scheduler. I really like it.
Pros:
User-friendly and great for posting and scheduling content across social media. Saves me time! The free version which I use allows you to post to three accounts which is great.
Cons:
There isn't much to dislike about the free version.
My Experience as a Digital Marketing Officer Using Buffer
Comments: My overall Buffer experience has been extremely positive and rewarding. Buffer has proven to be an invaluable tool in the daily tasks of our team, and it has been critical in maintaining a consistent brand image across our various social media platforms.
Pros:
As a digital marketer, I've explored various social media tools, and Buffer stands out as a top choice for several reasons. What I liked best about Buffer was its comprehensive suite of features designed for effective social media management. It has become an essential component of my digital marketing toolkit, assisting me and my team in streamlining processes and implementing effective social media strategies for our B2C company.
Cons:
My experience with Buffer has been extremely positive, but there is one area where I felt it could be improved. While Buffer's analytics provide valuable insights into post performance, the platform's analytics may lack some of the more advanced or in-depth features found in specialized analytics tools. Buffer's analytics may feel limited to marketers looking for highly detailed or granular data, such as myself.
Buffer Review
Pros:
I love buffer! It's really easy to use and connect with your different social media platforms to manage and schedule. I love that you can connect LinkedIn to make it easy. We use it regularly because it's awesome
Cons:
The only cons are mainly just budget pieces. We can't afford to pay for it, so we can only connect a few platforms instead of all of them. We can only schedule so many as well. But that's lacking of budget really.
I use another product now- Buffer was a good place to learn and practice.
Comments: It was a good place to start learning about social media scheduling, however, I use another program now due to a superior ease of use of the other product.
Pros:
It was a good place to begin to learn how to use scheduling software. It was the only service that I knew of at the time, and helped get me into the rhythm of posting to social media.
Cons:
The system changed during my time of use of this product. The explanation of the changes was minimal, and the changes were not easy to understand. I started with the free product, and that became unavailable at the time of the change, but I was not clearly informed of the new price and system.
Alternatives Considered:
Great for scheduling all your social posts
Pros:
Setting up different social channels and scheduling posts is super easy with Buffer, it saves time, and keeps your business social feeds up to date
Cons:
Tricky to set-up multiple pages on the same social channels
The best aplication
Pros:
A useful program in scientific and practical life, in addition to ease of use at a lower cost
Cons:
A useful program in scientific and practical life, in addition to ease of use at a lower cost
Manage multiple accounts in one!
Comments: You will also need to monitor your scheduled posts to ensure that they actually post because every few months, social media accounts will disconnect from your Buffer account and require you to sign in again before scheduling any more posts.
Pros:
Buffer allows you to schedule posts to multiple social media accounts in advance. This is critical for anyone to save time while planning content. The app was self explanatory and easy to use.
Cons:
Depending on how many social media accounts you’d like to connect to Buffer, you may be able to find a better deal somewhere else. There are different tiers of paid plans that allow you to connect more social media accounts for more money. Depending on how many social media accounts you plan to connect, Buffer or Hootsuite May offer you a better deal.
Great product with lots of functionality
Pros:
Buffer was an easy product to use and did everything I needed it to do. The dashboard is simple to deploy.
Cons:
Accounts have to be reconnected periodically, but that is normal for most of these types of software.
Great for small businesses
Comments: Very good and will continue to use for the foreseeable future
Pros:
Being a small business, being able to schedule up to three social media posts at once is a great help
Cons:
Buffer's Instagram connection isn't perfect, and often requires manual triggering. However it does warn you of this and includes clever workarounds to assist you.
Maximize your social media presence with Buffer
Comments: Buffer is a fantastic tool for managing your social media content. It is user-friendly, versatile, and offers a wide range of features to help streamline your social media marketing efforts
Pros:
Buffer is an excellent tool for managing social media content, it allows you to schedule posts across various social media platforms. This saves me effort and time. One of the best features of Buffer is its easy-to-use interface. The dashboard is intuitive and simple, making it easy to schedule posts and manage your social media accounts. Buffer offers a number of useful integrations with other marketing tools, such as Canva and Bitly.
Cons:
While Buffer offers scheduling and publishing for a wide range of social media platforms, some platforms may not have the same level of functionality as others. For example, Instagram doesn't allow third-party tools to post directly to the platform, so Buffer has to use a workaround where it sends you a push notification to manually post the content on the app. While Buffer does offer a free plan, it has limitations on the number of social media accounts you can manage, the number of posts you can schedule, and the amount of analytics data you can access. If you want access to more features or need to manage multiple social media accounts, you will need to upgrade to a paid plan. For a small business it might not be possible
My Buffer experience
Pros:
Easy to use, schedule and publish social media posts.
Cons:
Copying settings between social media accounts could be better
Good entry-level tool for social posting
Comments: Had good fun using it. For simple automation of loads of Twitter posts, it worked really well for me
Pros:
Really simple to get set up, I could quickly post a load of scheduled tweets and get them queued up into set time lots
Cons:
It could get a little buggy, especially when changing around times of posts, I found that every now and then all my changes would be lost. There was also a lot of features missing when compared with other platforms however this is the trade-off for Buffer being a lot more cost effective.
Perfect for Streamlining
Pros:
Buffer.com has revolutionized the way I handle my social media presence. Its seamless scheduling and publishing tools have saved me countless hours, allowing me to effortlessly plan and execute a cohesive social media strategy. The intuitive interface makes it simple to manage multiple accounts and track performance analytics in one place, providing valuable insights for refining my content strategy. Highly recommended for anyone seeking to optimize their online presence
Cons:
The analytical tools aren’t as in depth as some other options. If you run a large-scale campaign, you might need more detailed or specialized insights.
Buffer - easily schedule your social media posts
Comments: Good product for managing social media marketing and scheduling posts.
Pros:
ease of use, really easy to schedule posts to different channels
Cons:
nothing wrong with the product, did what it is supposed to do. As what it comes to our team's needs.
