Pros:

Flexible, easy to use with a great app. Our colleagues engage with this software more than any other Benefit offering we have.

Cons:

Back end customer support needs a bit of modernising but that is in play.

Comments: Having the software has helped us with staff retention and communication. A really good overall experience with a pro-active company.

Pros:

An innovative company that are continually improving the product. Reward Gateway deliver a bespoke product whilst working closely with their clients to ensure they deliver maximum engagement from the platform. Great features for employees and employers with good reporting tools

Cons:

Reports are sent by the account manager, it would be helpful to have the analytics at our fingertips. I believe this is something currently being worked on.

GRAIL's Review

3.0 2 years ago

Comments: Visually appealing, simple to use for employees. Terrible from an admin user POV if integrating with an HRIS- no rules engine means we have to manually script all the rules into our CSV file before loading into Rewards Gateway. Not being able to "skip" levels or "send back" awards during the approval process is hugely limiting and creates a bad user experience on approvals.

Pros:

Easy to use from an employee perspective

Cons:

No rules engine for approval process: No way for the system to skip approvers if they've already approved earlier in the cycle (example, Manager may also be the budget owner or HRBP. End of approving twice for the same person). No rules engine for approval process: No way for system to recognize and skip a person approving as themselves. No rules engine for approval process: Cannot use management chain or any other rule for assigning approvers at different approval levels. (Have to script this into the SFTP file and manually maintain). i.e. level 1 approver: use nominees line manager. Or approver 2: route approval to nominee's HR Partner. Or line 3: all people in department x, route to x for approval. For direct cash awards that are paid outside of the platform (i.e. what GUILD calls non-monetary awards), there's no way to edit the suggested amount or "Send Back" the step to prior step. Means if an amount changes through the approval process, we have to cancel the award, ask the Nominator to resubmit, then go through the entire approval process again. Clients have very limited configuration options available compared to what GUILD support can do. Means we need to submit a ticket for basic set-up. Example: we'd like to limit the number of nominations a person can receive (example 1 per month) to help avoid duplicate awards for the same body of work. This is possible on the platform, but only GUILD admins can set it up. Pictures are not diverse (4 white males)

Improving recognition and employee understanding of their rewards

5.0 last year

Comments: As a business they are very easy to work with. They are responsive to queries and issues, and their account management is proactive and helpful. Pricing feels fair for the value and quality of the service.

Pros:

Reward gateway helps us bring all our reward and benefits information into one reward portal. Employees can find out bout all the benefits, including links to the relevant forms, terms and guides. They can also save from a huge selection of discounted sites, and earn cashback, which is very popular. The recognition tool is quick and easy enabling peer to peer recognition and monitored awarding of shopping vouchers for larger achievements. On top of that you get the total reward statement, which shows employees the value of all the rewards and benefits that they enjoy.

Cons:

I think the format could do with updating. It's not bad but compared to some more whizzy sites it looks a bit static.

Customer service

3.0 2 years ago

Comments: App's and cards are fine, customer service is poor

Pros:

The software is fine, the problem comes when one has an issue. We have as a company waited 3 days and we still don't have a resolution. That in itself is fine but the zero communication is not.

Cons:

Lack of communication around support. Our system has been down for 5 days and no communication at all.

Good tool to view and select benefits

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: My experience thus far with Fond has been great. I use the software about once a month to select the perks my company offers that I would like to take advantage of.

Pros:

I have used this software since I joined the company (ENGIE Services US/OpTerra Energy Services) in order to discover, view, and select my company perks. It is a fairly straightforward website with complete descriptions and instructions to each perk.

Cons:

I like how they organize perks among different categories. However, I would like to see some filter capabilities when searching.

Reward gateway - Wide selection, Great website functionality.

4.0 2 years ago

Pros:

Functionality of the website is fantastic - allows for very easy access to company resources if set up to do so by administrators.Wide variety of offers, many of which are great value and very easy to apply. Though I have yet to use it personally, many colleagues have brought up how good the app is.

Cons:

Many offers are quite niche, though I'm unsure of how much this would vary between companies - i.e. if different companies have different offers set up.Some care needs to be taken for some that you follow the correct link for some offers and it is not always immediately obvious. Not a major con, but it is almost always worth visiting the retailer via this site to ensure coupons apply correctly.

Beautiful But Not User Friendly

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: I appreciate that we can acknowledge individuals at a company wide platform. I think we would benefit from greater support for ongoing implementation projects, flyers and advertisements created by RG to promote sales in the discounts and shopping arenas and general maintenance processes to streamline the system.

Pros:

I have loved the ease of sending eCards for recognition for staff. I also like the options of adding important updates on extras our company is doing to a platform that can keep it all in a reference location without scrolling through emails.

Cons:

As the acting administrator, some difficulties we've had include accurately and easily maintaining the employee database, having to create guides on using the software for our staff, getting questions answered timely and with complete information, having follow through from those who stated they would follow up. Turnover with our client success manager impacted holiday use. Implementation has been a struggle and support has not been readily accessible from one person so questions have to be reviewed from the beginning. Often several "success articles" were shared about a question with varying degrees of relatability to the question being asked. It continues to be trial and error.

Reward Gateway as a Tool at EVP

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: I first took on the role as administrator when I join the organization. I was not aware of the vision for RG. I have since fully taken on the challenge of growing the usage of the tool as a recognition platform and "blog" space for the organization. I am also trying to grow the usage of the gift card and discount programs from the teammates.

Pros:

Reward Gateway has offered us a tool for peer-to-peer recognition as well as Manager-to-Teammate recognition. We also use RG as a tool for communication to the mass audience of our staff. The access has been easy. The "blog" capabilities haev enhanced our broadcast communication efforts.

Cons:

Sometimes the support has been a bit hard to understand. That situation is steadily improving and support has been consistent.

Reward Gateway Is A Great Motivator for Staff!

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: Overall, we are generally very pleased with Reward Gateway and plan to utilize it even more in the coming year!

Pros:

We love that we can set up rewards for our employees like the Birthday Gift that automatically occurs on their birthday! It's so easy and is such a nice way to recognize them individually without having to do all the work!!! We also love that Reward Gateway keeps track of the employees' anniversaries! The employees love getting recognized for their achievements, so the cards and gifts are always well received by the staff!

Cons:

The least favorite thing is the inability to make self-edits to employee profiles. Name changes etc... must be done through customer support. When creating new recognitions/awards these too must be created by customer service.

Works Well

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: It's mostly good. The product works fine, but isn't as fun as some others out there for employee engagement, rewards, and recognition.

Pros:

The blog features and ability to create custom pages, smart hubs, etc.

Cons:

The mobile app is useless. The viewability of the product is OK overall. It isn't very "fun" so it's harder to encourage employees and managers to utilize reward gateway. Primarily we use it for posting company news, but the recognition capabilities isn't quite catchy or entertaining enough.

Comments: I really enjoyed it for the engagement aspect, however our users didn't really grasp the importance of its usage. Also, frequent shifts in reps.

Cons:

Blogs are a little bland with template, lack of engagement with users.

Outstanding customer service

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: Easy to recognize colleagues even when its not with a monetary value, and the Applause Wall is very inspirational. I like that all employees have 3 Spotlight awards to issue as previously we have never had this option and it really makes an impact. The videos are short so easy to watch and understand. I found the site so easy to navigate and didn't have trouble finding anything.

Pros:

Xexec Applause was recently rolled out at my company to encourage recognition of employees and colleagues in a new and improved format which makes it easier to reward and praise colleagues. The layout of the site is very easy to use and navigate and i found it really easy to find what i was looking for, i also found a wealth of information on the different rewards and recognitions that could be given and which roles could give which rewards and values. I enjoyed the profile which was easy to fill in and showed at easy glance what awards and balances i have. Special praise should go to [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] in customer services who quickly helped me when i was initially finding i was getting an error message when trying to access the site. She quickly sorted this for me and i have had no issues since.

Cons:

I think the Applause Wall could do with some different images just to keep things looking interesting and not samey when scrolling through. Could we add our own photos? More photos needed in the options for profile pictures. When looking at the vouchers page, i found it difficult to understand that the monetary values that you could claim were listed above the voucher themselves. I thought where it said £10, 50 it meant you could claim £10.50 rather than values of £10 and £50.

Excellent Experience

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: The migration of our recognition programme to the Xexec platform was seamless and has been very well received by our employees. Usage of the programme is high and employees are excited by the wide range of products and services available in the catalogue. Xexec have improved the employee experience through their platform and service offering. In addition, the experience as the manager of the recognition programme has been outstanding. The client team at Xexec are always attentive and very quick to resolve any questions or issues experienced. As we near the first anniversary in partnership, the experience has been outstanding.

Pros:

The Xexec platform is intuitive, simple for users and has some strong features. The web portal looks very good and that encourages high usage within the employee population. The support team are incredibly knowledgeable and are incredibly open to implementing changes and improvements tailored to my company's needs.

Cons:

Very little to dislike currently, but always seeking to improve the employee experience.

Solid Unique Recognition System

5.0 8 years ago

Comments: Brand Integrity is an excellent product with good customer support. It provides an ongoing recognition system between employee engagement surveys, which helps keep the topic of engagement and satisfaction in front of supervisors and employees all year. The major limitation is that it is a technology solution, and many of our LTC employees do not use or have regular access to technology every day.

Pros:

Fairly easy to navigate. Robust reporting. Allows easy drill-down reporting in a large organization. Fairly intuitive especially for folks who are familiar with platforms like Facebook.

Cons:

It is better for folks who work at a desk all day, and is limited for folks who work on the floor. The tech support is not quite as robust as sales makes it out to be, but it is still solid support. The price point is very high for the ROI.

Pros:

It is very easy to use and to navigate around. The use of the benefits on the site is great. The cycle to work scheme is very straight forward.

Cons:

Hi Zoe, Thanks very much for taking the time to leave a review of SmartHub®. Really pleased to hear you're making the most of the benefits on the platform and find it easy to use. We're obsessed with user experience, so our Product Teams will be pleased to hear you've given the platform 10/10. Our Retail Team work really hard to negotiate the best offers in that market and have recently expanded the instant reloadable card offering to include: Debenhams, EasySaver, Ernest Jones, Greene King, H.Samuel, Halfords, Mitchell & Butlers, Tesco, The Restaurant Card, Wickes & Wyevale Garden Centre. Hope this helps you to save even more than you are already! Don't forget, there is also a much wider choice of instant vouchers available on the programme for any of those in the moment purchases.
