The platform itself is visually appealing and clients enjoy the booking experience. > > **Cons**: My experiences with their billing policies and customer service has been extremely disappointing. I am charged a “New Client Marketplace Fee” for a returning client who had previously booked with me and even contacted me directly to rebook. I follow Fresha’s own advice by sending my direct booking link, yet the system still flags client as new marketplace clients. Despite clear evidence, support refuses to refund the fees, citing rigid policy and technicalities. The worst thing is the tone and attitude of the support team. Responses are curt, dismissive, and show no empathy or willingness to understand the issues. It felt like speaking to a bot programmed to say “no” rather than a team interested in helping resolve genuine concerns. > > These experiences highlights a serious flaw in Fresha’s client recognition system and a troubling lack of accountability. Their policies seem designed to protect their revenue—not their users. New Fresha client fees for clients that I have personally found but because they searched my name on the marketplace, they were classed as a new Fresha client and i was charged 20% of their appointment fee, even if they don’t end up spending that amount. The fees got out of control for me though and I never knew what I was going to be paying out per month. I owed my nail technician extra money, and I was able to tip through the app instead of having to mess around with going in and using card machines. It also updates my appointments and keeps them all in one place, so they're easy to view and manage. > > **Cons**: I initially struggled to find services that I wanted in my area, but this is no longer an issue after recent Fresha updates which make the app extremely easy and convenient to use.
