Great Survey builder and also for polls

Comments: I have had a great overall experience using poll anywhere, and I use it to build effective polls. Several users create polls and surveys using the poll everywhere.

Pros:

My favourite aspect of Poll everywhere is that it can be used to design effective polls. The user interface is quite straightforward, easy to use, and beginner friendly. It makes the process of making polls seamless. Other applications can be integrated with it.

Cons:

As poll Perfect is the most popular of the others, I can't think of any drawbacks.

Great product

Comments: Overall a great experience, I have been using this software for about 2 years now and I continue to use it. The students love it as well as it helps them to assess their learning within the class.

Pros:

Is of use and that it can be used with mobile devices. Easy to update poll questions.

Cons:

The polls deactivate after a while so each time the class is run I have to go in and activate the polls I am going to use that semester. Maybe this is because I am using the free version of the software.

Poll Everywhere makes it easy to get your audience engaged.

Comments: Great software that is really user friendly.

Pros:

Poll Everywhere was one of the first "text in" polling options available and I was an early adopter. I work on a college campus and I have used the software for everything from allowing students to text in their vote at a talent show to polling the audience during a talk to incoming students. Poll Everywhere allows for seamless connection to presentation software so you can easily integrate your polls into your slide deck. It's also easy for the audience to send in their response, even if they've never used the program. Finally, the realtime polls allow you to get instant feedback, so you know what your audience is thinking.

Cons:

I don't have many complaints with Poll Everywhere. I would say that they need some improvements in the their pricing options, but this is minor. The only adjustment I would like to see is a smaller price tag for a one time event.

An effective poll app for live or virtual meetings that only lacks a better visual interface.

Comments: It is very easy to integrate into your presentation arsenal.

Pros:

The price is right, the poll features are adequate.

Cons:

It lacks the visual and audio enhancements. If they only made it as pretty, fun to watch and hear (music etc) as Kahoot it would be almost perfect.

Easy to create & implement, not as easy for users

Comments: It was a great free option for small meeting engagment, but not optimal for large groups and not super easy for participants to join.

Pros:

The competition feature of the live poll and the multiple options for participant responses.

Cons:

The difficulty participants have getting into the poll & using the app. I often get confused people who take time to join. Also the fact that I cannot moderate competitions easily from my app, and that participants can't see leaderboard in between questions on their app.

Poll review

Comments: Everything was really great to be honest it is very useful to everybody.

Pros:

It has a sense of urgency and you will be able to come up with the result on the time that you wanted. It was considered a nice tool for making a big group decision distantly it will allow every participant to share their sides through voting.

Cons:

Like least about the poll is that it cannot send information to everybody that they need to mandatorily cooperate to come up with an accurate result during the collecting of votes or responses.

Great interactive tool

Comments: Positive experience using Poll Everywhere.

Pros:

I have been using Poll everywhere for a few years now and really enjoy it. It costs me nothing and it enhances my presentations.

Cons:

Wish it looked a little nicer but that is not a deterrent.

Easy to Intergrate with Zoom

Pros:

Very easy to use. Anyone can make a survey with this software.

Cons:

Sometimes we cannot get the results to populate properly over Zoom but pretty sure that's a Zoom issue not Poll Everywhere.

Poll Everywhere should be Everywhere!

Comments: We have had a great experience with Poll Everywhere, and plan to continue using the product.

Pros:

We use Poll Everywhere for our school, and the students love it. It is such an engaging tool, that provides great real-time feedback.

Cons:

Sometimes the tool will be delayed, and that can take a little time away from our class instruction time.

Comments: I have utilized this software in my work life when doing presentations with college students. It was a great way to engage the audience and allowed for better presentations and engagement from students! We saw an increase in participation during our presentations after utilizing the software. I would recommend the software for anyone who wants an easy to use polling software!

Pros:

Poll Everywhere is great because it is so easy, quick, and efficient. It is a great technology for multiple purposes, such as classrooms, presentations, or events. It makes asking questions fun, engaging, and simple!

Cons:

There is nothing negative about this software. It is very easy to use that anyone can pick it up and implement it for their needs. The technology is simple but effective and the interface is very appealing!

Out of the ordinary software

Comments: An optimal experience for the use you make

It has features that other similar ones don't have, and I appreciate the fact that it tries to make survey proposals personalized

Cons:

The difficulty sometimes in viewing the responses to surveys from consumers

Easy to Use, Highly Functional Polling Software

Pros:

This app is extremely easy to use and deploy for events. - Highly customizable - Polls Surveys, integration to various software platforms. - Easy to use for attendees. Simple setup, instructions. -Incredibly reliable. - Excellent value for money compared to renting expensive AV equipment.

Cons:

Unfortunately, a lot of the best features are based in the upper tiers of the pricing features. Currently, I can't see our organization maintaining the higher pricing if the application is not in use more often.

Easy Polls to Share

Comments: I use Poll Everywhere to quickly get questions answered, to brainstorm ideas, and to engage my audience for presentations whether it is at a staff meeting or for my students. It has been useful and engaging.

Pros:

I like that the polls are easy to access and can be displayed in multiple ways - whether it's a graph or a word bank. You can simply make your poll live and then share the link during a presentation so people can answer the questions and see what the results are instantly! It is easy for both children and adults to use for meetings or in the classroom.

Cons:

I think the homepage/ website where you create the poll could be more visually appealing. It just does not look very modern.

Really Cool Polling Software

Comments: Great tool that is sure to make your presentation stand out from everyone else's. People will probably come up and ask you what you used to make your presentation dynamic. Be ready to commit a little bit of time to figure out the idiosyncrasies of the software.

Pros:

Poll Everywhere is really really cool. Seriously, when you run one of these, people pay attention and get engaged. Unlike built-in webinar polls, PollEV polls look great and allow people to use their own phones to text or use the web to vote. The results actually get displayed in real-time. This makes your presentations look super tech-forward and is sure to impress!

Cons:

The user interface in the backend of PollEV is kind of dated and clunky. Numerous times I've had to figure out how to do things by trial and error. I would also like to see more innovation from the PollEV team on more variety of things to engage audiences on. The pricing is a little steep if you only need it for a single, one-day event.

Excellent for polling large classrooms and crowds, but has a steep learning curve for user

Pros:

I love that this software can easily integrate anyone with a smartphone into a lecture or talk. It is remarkable that you can see live results of a quiz question, survey, or poll displayed in an embedded way in a powerpoint, and this definitely contributes to improved learning in a lecture setting.

Cons:

When I have gone to make poll everywhere slides myself, it took me quite a while to figure it out. The computer app is not good and it almost requires you to make all of your slides on the internet. Moreover, it was not immediately clear to me how to convert slides/polls from one type of question to another, and I continually had to start over with a new question type instead of easily toggling the question type on an already created question.

Great for interactive presentations

Comments: I use this software for keeping my students engaged in class. They can ask questions confidentially and it makes the class a bit more fun.

Pros:

They have a free account that has limited features but is great for trainings and presentations. It is easy to use and set up. We all know that when presenting or training folks, they will have their phones out. This software allows them to use their phone to ask questions or engage in the presentation at hand allowing you to engage your audience better.

Cons:

My only complaint is that the mobile site is not as easy to use as the desktop site. If you can have a computer available to use the software during presentations it will make your life easier.

A Great Way to Make Presentations More Interactive

Comments: This tool is really helpful to use whether presenting to students or colleagues. It is free and worth the time and energy to incorporate into a slideshow or presentation.

Pros:

Using Poll Everywhere is a great way to make PowerPoint and other classroom/conference room style presentations more engaging and interactive. There are several fun and unique ways to have audience members or participants be more involved with the presentation through multiple choice and open-ended questions.

Cons:

For the participant unfamiliar with Poll Everywhere, it can be a bit confusing to use the system via a cell phone at first. There are several different numbers/codes that need to be submitted to ensure your responses go to the correct place and are included in the group discussion/responses. However, once the user learns and is logged in, it is easy to catch on.

What a fun way to involve audiences

Comments: Large audiences need to feel connected to the presenter, and this software app makes that easy.

Pros:

Simple and fast for audiences to engage at a conference.

Cons:

The download experience for each user is different to get set up, but once set up it is streamlined.

Fast to use

Comments: Overall, I would say my experience with Poll Everywhere has been positive and I will continue to use this software.

Pros:

What I like most about Poll Everywhere is how fast it is to create a poll and use the poll. This software really does save me a lot of time.

Cons:

I cannot think of what I like least about this software because it is a very good software and I enjoy using it.

Increase class interaction with Poll Everywhere

Comments: Its simple and easy to use from your computer. Set up is quick. We used this as an alternative to iclicker, which we usually use for response submissions during a presentation.

Pros:

It is a great way to test peoples's knowledge with multiple choice questions or having a group of people respond to a question without having to raise their hands. It is a great way to keep people engaged during a lecture or presentation. I like the diversity of response options that it allows; instead of just allowing multiple choice questions, it also allows for true/false, free response, ect.

Cons:

There is nothing that i disliked about this software.

Poll Everywhere for Training Engagement

Pros:

Poll Everywhere is a great and easy to use tool to help build engagement in training. It was great to be able to have team members be able to use their phone to answer questions, and see their results live on screen once the poll closed! There is also a lot of variety of types of polls you can do (i.e. choice, word clouds, etc.)

Cons:

There are some limitations to how many users can answer poll questions (depending on the package/level you choose). It's important to test this because it was not clear at first.

Makes meetings Engaging

Comments: Overall, we have loved it, and have no complaints about it. Its the only polling software we use.

Pros:

I really love how you can see results real time and helps make meetings much more engaging. The program also works very well with almost no lag time.

Cons:

My one complaint is the pricing. While they do offer a "Free" version if you have a lot of participants that not going to work for you. I think the pricing is a bit steep and think they could offer some better options.

Good for a free app

Comments: Poll Everywhere is great for teachers and students.

Pros:

I like that this app allows for students to be counted and surveyed without the use of an iClicker. Instructor can easily ask a question for students to answer in real time. I also love how you can see how the precentage of the class answered.

Cons:

Logging in can be tricky and use through data (when you dont have wifi) is confusing to navigate.

Poll Everywhere Creates Challenges With Powerpoint

Comments: Not great. There are other products that have the same functionality [and more] and don't create mayhem when you open up other software. I ended up purchasing Kahoot! that does a lot more and covers the same functions.

Pros:

I love the idea of capturing feedback during webinars to make them more engaging and collect data to use.

Cons:

This totally messed up my PowerPoint...every time I opened PPT...it would send an error message, open up a webpage and a send log window. Such a mess. Had to uninstall.

Incredibly helpful and engaging tool for public talks

Comments: Overall Poll Everywhere is a phenomenal tool that allows presenters and speakers to engage the ENTIRE audience in a very novel way.

Pros:

What I like most about this software is that if I am giving a public speech or presentation, I am able to engage the audience in a meaningful way, one of which has the potential to change the very course of the presentation itself. This is an incredibly novel thing.

Cons:

What I don't like about this software is its inability to do more complex polling/experimental designs. That is, I wish I were able to set up different experimental conditions to poll the audience with in order to make more complex points rather than just simple polls.
