We were storing documents and things on google drive and slack before we started using the portal, but now almost everything is in the portal. Therefore, I am rarely being asked for logos or other types of files on a daily basis (at least not most days). I can link multiple languages of pdfs together, therefore I will never lose the french version in the folder system. Product technically was a DAM. > > **Cons**: User experience was poor. Users really hated the flat structure of the database, they preferred working in folders. Finding resources using the metadata available wasn't great either. Their search engine failed us and was quirky. > > Very mid experience. We transitioned from WebDAM and most preferred if we could have stayed. The team at Bynder did not help us with the transition very well and ultimately it took a full year to get the DAM transferred. They cut us off of API access a week before our contract expired and tried to sell special services to get us to transfer files out.
