- **Pricing Details**: Postio is pay as you go. You top up a balance and it is drawn down per request. There is no monthly fee, no minimum spend, no tier to qualify for and no contract to leave.

Phone validation — 1p per result

The rate is the same for every customer at every volume. A business doing a thousand lookups a month pays what one doing a million pays. There is nothing to negotiate and no discount to ask for.

What is free

Address searching is free. However many keystrokes it takes a customer to find their address in an autocomplete, those searches cost nothing — you are charged once, when you retrieve the full address you actually wanted.

A search that finds nothing is free. A query returning no match comes back empty and is not charged.

Checking your API key works is free.

New accounts get 100 free lookups and we do not ask for a card to give them to you.

What a month costs

1,000 address lookups — £22
10,000 address lookups — £220
50,000 address lookups — £1,100
250,000 address lookups — £5,500

Email and phone validation work out at half those figures. Remember the searches that fed those lookups were free, so a checkout capturing one address per order costs one lookup per order, not one per keystroke.

Topping up and running out

You add credit when you choose, in whatever amount suits you. If you would rather not think about it, set an automatic top-up and a balance threshold, and we handle it. We email you before the balance runs low.

If you do run out, billable requests return a clear out-of-credit response until you top up. Nothing is deleted, no account is closed, and service resumes the moment credit is added.

VAT

Prices shown exclude VAT. UK customers are charged VAT at 20%. Business customers in the EU with a valid VAT number are zero-rated under the reverse charge, as are customers outside the EU. VAT invoices are available in your dashboard for every payment.

No surprises

No setup fee. No platform fee. No per-seat charge. No annual commitment. No charge for the drop-in widget, the WordPress plugin or any of the SDKs — they are free and open, and you pay only for the lookups you make through them.
