- A ton of features (Database, Authentication, Push Notifications, Teams, ...)
- Self-host option
- Cheap Appwrite Cloud
- Helpful community and fast response times
- Open source

> **Cons**: - Relations in the database still being in beta and queries being unsupported
- Complicated to set up production-ready self-hosted environment

> Appwrite has been very satisfying and easy to use. It feels awesome to work with this Backend as a Service (BaaS) and to deploy highly interactive realtime applications in next to no-time. However there are some issues that plague it - such as the inconsistent database relation mechanic and the inability to make relation queries.
