> **Pros**: Field materials is very easy to use for both myself as a purchasing manager and the teams on site. I am able track orders easily and our suppliers are able to communicate with us through the chat messaging. Inputting invoices is very easy and the Ai tool means I have less info that I have to manually input.

> **Cons**: Some of the reporting can be a bit clunky, however the support team are very open to any new ideas we feel would help us manage our ordering more efficiently

> **Pros**: There are several things I like about Field Materials:
1. User Interface - it's clean and intuitive
2. Ability to separate material types on a field requisition to obtain pricing from different suppliers
3. Inventory tracking - this has been great for us. We've historically not tracked inventory and ended up with material shorts because material ordered for a particular job were used for another job.
4. Ability to see actual vs. budgeted costs on one screen. Our Operations people love this.
5. Communication between our field hands and suppliers. We had some damaged material that our receiving person noted. The supplier was notified right away and responded within the FM platform about the replacement material being shipped that same day.
6. Ability to assign roles and how many approvals are required before an order can be placed.
7. Tight integration with our ERP (Vista).
8. AI component that scans a photo of a packing slip and automatically marks the respective material being received

> **Cons**: We thought material receipts pushed to Vista, but they do not. FM is working with us to resolve this.

> It has been a great partnership. We did a 90 day trial that went well so we chose to sign an enterprise agreement. Everyone involved in the trial has been impressed. Our Purchasing department loves it because it has made them more efficient by not having to use three platforms (SmartSheet, Outlook and Vista).

> **Pros**: I love how easy Field Materials is to use and manage purchase orders. Field Materials makes AP super easy, and seeing our field upload delivery confirmations and pics right on the PO gives us peace of mind before paying—love it\!

> **Cons**: Nothing major—adding more columns to the PO would help, especially a length column since many of our items need it. This is in the works so it’s hardly an issue. It’s a small thing, but I prefer POs in portrait rather than landscape.

> It’s been a game-changer for our workflow—creating, tracking, and invoicing are much easier, with fewer errors and better communication between our team, vendors, and internal departments. Our trainer was also amazing—very helpful and made learning the system simple.

> **Cons**: The approval workflow, it can be improved, specially giving more options of approval workflow and options to edit the types of accounts.

> **Pros**: What is there not to like\!  It is easy to use, interfaces with many accounting and construction software's.  They are constantly updating the software.  You don't have to wait for them to roll out an up date.  As soon as they have something ready to update they do it.

> **Cons**: I haven't found anything I don't like - if there is something that I need and feel it would help other companies I ask about if it is something they could implement and so far they have.
> 
> We tried another named company that did the same thing and it was a disaster.
Working with Field Materials has been a breeze.  My customer service rep is always available and emails me back that same day with any answer to my question.
