Overall I have been very impressed by the Replit agent capabilities, and how easy it is to integrate databases and other tools into software within Replit. I like the web-based IDE and the Agent mode. Some of the key features I use in all my apps are the built-in secrets manager and the Neon PostgreSQL database solution. The one-click deployment is excellent, and the integration with my existing git repos makes it easy to version control my releases. > > **Cons**: I like the Agent mode, but I would like the ability to create Architect agents that can supervise and help direct the coding agent. I think sometimes the Agent mode gets confused, and I have had times where it just gets stuck in a loop. This is fine for me because I am a software engineer by trade, so I don't have to rely entirely on the agent. I do find it confusing when to use the Assistant vs. Agent. I started using it in September 2024, more or less as soon as they introduced the AI agent interface, and have produced something in the region of 40 apps since then. Replit add new features almost every week and are very responsive to user requests. It is my favourite way to interact with an LLM, bar none. > > **Cons**: Not much to say against it. Obviously I've had my frustrating moments, but they are so quick to make improvements that any roadblocks are quickly removed, either by the LLM improvements over time, but more often by Replit themselves.
