> **Cons**: Sometimes things like subscriber adds/etc take a while to process on the backend - also not a fan of the subscriber limit on the free plan being a meagre 500 but I understand they need to make money somehow...

> Positive experience overall - I've been using Buttondown for a couple of years after moving away from Mailchimp and I appreciate the simplicity of it (and not being run by awful people like some of their competitors..\!) The personal touch on emails is a plus, and the editor does everything you could ask of it while staying simple and streamlined.
