Keynote is Microsoft powerpoint but with good visual style

4.0 2 years ago

Pros:

It is just beautiful, it's like mixing Canva with all its features with Powerpoint. It is created exclusively to make stunning presentations and beautiful and interactive animations.

Cons:

If you have to work with other non-Apple devices, then it's a bit messy and some plots are not shown correclty

Keynote Presentations are the Best in the Academe!

5.0 last year

Comments: My students love my presentation that’s why I am very pleased with my use of this software.

Pros:

I like how easy it is to import and export files from this software. It makes my job easier especially when we educators work on a lot of our presentations.

Cons:

The exclusivity of the software for Apple ecosystem users would be my least liked feature of Keynote.

A lot potential not used fro years. Nevertheless, the best alternative for Powerpoint.

Comments: To design a quick presentation is very easy.

Pros:

It is the easiest tool to learn and design a presentation. The best thing is the possibility to start a keynote on the iPad and to finish it on the Mac.

Cons:

Apple does't manage it to give us a real collaborative tool still. To comment, work together, exchange data and brainstorm together are not there yet in the way, the competition does it. All the tools in Keynote are there, but not used as they could be. Also, the use of custom fonts between iPad and Mac is totally off or not possible.

Royal history review of Keynote

5.0 last year

Comments: If you are a Mac owner, there is no other choice. I use it every month and love it, even if it has starting to look outdated and doesn't receive yearly changes.

Pros:

How easy to use it is. incredibly simple to make different slides, position photographs, and add details. My area of weakness is creating graphics, but I can also make posters with Keynote. Even though I've only recently started using Canva, Keynote still feels more natural to me.

Cons:

If it included more styles and templates, that would be fantastic. Although the PowerPoint template I bought fits well with Keynote, I would prefer to have more default templates available when I create a new file.

keynote to supplement imovie has been great for video edits.

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: Excellent, keynote has given me so many more font and edit options to overlay imovie videos.

Pros:

Keynote is wonderful to create texts/fonts to overlay for video edits for apps like imovie, that is the main usage for myself.

Cons:

None. Keynote for what I need it for has been wonderful.

Keynote Review

5.0 8 months ago

Pros:

One of the things I really like about Keynote is how much you can do with it. There are many options to choose and although it does the same job as Google Slides or PowerPoint, it does the job and does it well.

Cons:

There isn't much to not like about Keynote as it's pretty standard (in my opinion), but if I were to complain about one thing, it would be the video playing within the presentation. It works as expected, but I wish there was an "easier" way of playing it (as in making it more "obvious"), but again, it's a minor complaint.

Excellent is the word

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Excellent, I would suggest everyone to get over with PPT and use Keynote instead. It is super easy to use and comes with excellent functionality.

Pros:

It is an Apple product and comes with best quality. I had always been using PPT or Prezi, but since I discovered this gem, I have stopped using anything else. It has all the functionality that you can imagine in a top or popular software (Prezi or PPT) and the best part is it comes free with purchase of any Apple product. I might never go back to PPT, it is so cliche.

Cons:

There was nothing much to not like, but if I have to pick up something, then it will the fact when we export Keynote to PPT we might lose some formatting or fonts etc. Other than that, there is nothing that bothers me using Keynote.

Keynote

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: We use Keynote often in our environment. I came from a PowerPoint world and was able to adapt to Keynote fairly quickly. Being a MAC School, I love having a product that I can use without having to pay for PowerPoint

Pros:

This is an easy software to learn. Ports over easily from PowerPoint. I love the drag and drop features

Cons:

I don't see many Cons with this software once you get past the learning stage

Best for Mac users

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: Keynote is a great tool for presentations, but not the one I use the most. The only reason for that is the fact that our company usually demands presentation files for Powerpoint or links to Google Slides. Converting files then becomes somewhat of a hassle. Otherwise, it is really easy to set up slides. I use Keynote whenever I can present from my computer.

Pros:

It works seamlessly with any Apple device. Design options are superior to Google Slides or Powerpoint. I can move slides with my Apple watch!

Cons:

I like Keynote, but only use it when I am 100 % certain I would be able to use my computer to present. If that is not the case, I usually do the presentation in Google Slides. I am not too happy with exporting to other formats (due to some minor design changes).

Keynote: The king of presentation software

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: I am a Keynote fan knowing that I have not tapped into ½ of its capabilities. It's a workhorse!

Pros:

I love the ease of working from multiple documents and being able to add parts of each of them into my presentation. This software is my favorite. I even like it better than Pages because of the drag and drop capabilities. I even use it to think and process workshops I develop before I build the presentation. It's an awesome tool!

Cons:

Adding video and making it work every time. That some companies don't use it and want to transfer it to PowerPoint - it never is a flawless transfer in either direction.

Works well and has a lot of templates

Pros:

A great free solution that rivals Microsoft PowerPoint really well. A great selection of templates to start with too!

Cons:

Not the easiest to navigate as a beginner but it works well once you get used to it.

Favorite presentation software of all time

Pros:

Some of the features I like most about Keynote include its customizable templates, built-in media library, ability to add 3D objects and animations, and support for real-time collaboration with other users.

Cons:

Sometime I find Keynote's features and tools overwhelming for basic or simple presentations, and may prefer a more streamlined solution.

Keynote... and nothing else

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Although Powerpoint has improved a lot over the years, it still hasn't caught up with Keynote.

Pros:

It is the best presentations software out there, period.I've been a Windows user all my life, until I tried Keynote. Yes, Keynote was the main reason why I switched to Mac. It has a fantastic user interface, it is really easy to do almost anything you need to do with a presentation, very clever the way many tools have been designed. The way you work with shapes, how easy it is to apply effects... it makes Keynote a wonderful tool.

Cons:

No cons, perhaps the main one is that it only comes with Mac. But if you do own a Mac, it comes for free, that's the good news!

Incredible animations

5.0 2 years ago

Pros:

You can achieve the best quality animated presentation with this “entry level” software. Using the transitions, animations plugins and tools you can obtain amazing results

Cons:

Is hard to use it out of IOS enviroment. You will have many troubles exporting this file to a .ppt and using it in a PC. If your presentation will be not showed in a Mac, please don’t use it

Keynote is THE TOOL for smart presentations

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: I really enjoy this app. I've been able to create formal presentations as well as informal albums for my friends easily, fast and sometimes on the go. I always have all my presentation on the app and can share them with my work team to streamline the job.

Pros:

It is easy to use, you can create neat presentations in no time. It has good data storage to elaborate on your ppts. Can share with many platforms and formats so everyone can have your work and you can create the visual aid that you require

Cons:

It tends to be a bit repetitive when giving format to each slide, so it gets annoying

my favourite tool for creating presentations

Pros:

I use Keynote for all of my work presentations. I've tried PowerPoint but it just never felt intuitive to me. With Keynote, it's so easy to add in multimedia and make changes quickly - which is really important when you're making a presentation. The other thing I like about Keynote is the ability to customize it by adding in your own personal theme.

Cons:

I dont have any negatives to report. Apple has done an amazing job like they always do.

Free presentation app if you got a Mac or iPad

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: The best part about the Keynote is that you can present from your phone if you suddenly forgot the laptop at home. It happened to me one time and I didn't panic because I knew that I would have access from my phone.

Pros:

The best part of this app is that if you have a Macbook or any other apple device such as iPad Air or Pro, you can use it with no cost at all. And it has all the features you'll find in the powerpoint.

Cons:

Unfortunately, there is not enough fonts available. I wish it had more fonts available so that I can customize the text.

Pros:

Keynote is an efficient, fully loaded tool which aids the user create and deliver quality presentations. I love it’s animations and transitions and its ability to continuously show a presentation on loop.
