> **Pros**: I love the fact that this works by hiding the Wordpress footprint, this is great because more than 50% of the websites today are using WordPress, so there are thousands of ways to attack it. If bots and hackers don't know that your website is running on Wordpress, they don't even try to hack it :)

> **Cons**: It's not mandatory, but it recommends turning off XML-RPC, but it doesn't say that doing this might affect API services. It's an easy fix though, just a notification message should do.

> The experience has been great\! Before, we had to use ReCaptcha to keep spammers away, but captchas are bad for site performance. With Hide My WP Ghost we don't have to worry about spammers anymore, and we don't need to use ReCaptcha
