> **Pros**: It's very simple to use. Once our dev set up the environment I can, as a data scientist, do my job autonomously.

> **Cons**: When some job fails it can happen that the logs are absent which can make debugging a bit hard. 
The way Heroku has implemented 2 Factor Authentication has caused a few problems. I had to rely on someone else sharing their device with me to sign in.

> It's a nice tool to have if you want to run script on a schedule. We use it to send automated emails or to import data from some API on a regular basis.

> **Cons**: Hard to say, I have definitely had an issue previously where I turned a job off then forgot. Obviously that's my fault but maybe an email notification to tell a given email when there is any kind of significant update  (or if the cron fails for some reason? Does it do that?)

> **Pros**: It's very easy to setup, and possible to run terminal commands within jobs. The Webhooks for Slack alerts are really helpful and trustful, and save engineering time on developing alerting monitoring.

> **Cons**: In alerts - filters, it's not possible to have "OR" clauses to decide on which jobs to trigger alerts, there's only "AND".   Also, it's not possible to tie alerts to specific jobs (at least I didn't find out how to do that),  alerts are tied to commands. I am also not aware if it integrates well with version control (through code), if not, would be a good add.
