Reviews of Jestor
Jestor is really good
Comments: I switched from another app and noticed a positive difference
Pros:
I really like the number of tools I have available in the app; I can manage different stages and projects of my work all in one place
Cons:
While the task management software is very useful and efficient, I think it could benefit from a slightly more intuitive interface. This would help make the user experience even better

Well Designed Platform - Easy to Learn and Lots of Potential
Comments: Over-All Jestor is a Game Changer. This is a powerful Tool and I highly recommend it to anyone that is in sales and marketing that is looking to streamline their process.
Pros:
I recently had the opportunity to explore Jestor, I knew within the first hour this was the platform i was looking for to operate my Real Estate business. The User-Face is friendly and easy to navigate and figure out, which is important for for someone that doesnt have a background in tech/coding. The Drag and Drop feature makes it easy to create different APPS , APP Pages and connecting different data sources for relational data and automating work flows. Lots of flexibility and deep customization that is specific to your business. The Support Team is great! Lots of documentation on youtube for knowledge base. The team is patient and willing to help.
Cons:
This is not your typical straight out of the box platform so there is a learning curve. But that is because of the deep customization.

Hi Mark, Thank you so much for your feedback and review! We're thrilled to hear you had a positive experience. We have invested significant effort in collaborating with the real estate sector and are pleased to see great results. We're continually striving to simplify the learning curve without compromising customization capabilities. We welcome any ideas you might have to help us enhance this aspect even further.
Alternatives Considered:
To early stage, even worse support
Pros:
The idea behind a platform where you can create almost everything, but was just that, "the idea"
Cons:
When I first explored Jestor as an alternative to well-known project management tools like Notion, Airtable, and ClickUp, I was hopeful. Unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory, and here’s why. Starting with Jestor’s platform, it felt underdeveloped compared to the tools I'm accustomed to. One of the main issues I encountered was the limit on "actions". As someone who develops enterprise software, this restriction seemed counterproductive and frustrating. It’s hard to get much done when you’re constantly worrying about those limitations, and you have to always think about workarounds who are far away from "no code". I also found that while Jestor is marketed as a "no code" solution, some features still require a technical understanding that goes beyond what is typically expected from such a tool. This was misleading and diminished the user-friendly aspect they promise. Integrations, which are crucial for streamlining processes and improving efficiency, seemed to be in their early stages. This limited functionality was a significant drawback since we couldn’t connect Jestor seamlessly with other tools we use like Asana. When it came to implementing Jestor within my company, the response was lukewarm. My colleagues were hesitant to switch from their familiar systems to a new tool that didn’t meet their needs or expectations. The tipping point for me, however, was the customer support—or lack thereof. After agreeing to a meeting I didn’t request, I was left waiting in front of a Zoom call for 30 minutes with no show from their team. Following up got me nowhere; they promised to look into it but then went silent. This lack of communication and support is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful of my time. They didn't even give advance notice or apologize properly; they simply sent a message saying, and I quote verbatim: "Sorry for the late reply. I was in a meeting that took a lot longer than I expected. Can we reschedule our meeting for tomorrow at 11 AM or 5 PM Brazilian time?" What does this message even mean? You apologize for a late response, not for leaving me hanging for half an hour, and you ask me to move my entire schedule again because you had a more important meeting that was delayed? What would have happened if the next day another more important meeting than mine happened? In conclusion, while I wanted to give Jestor the benefit of the doubt as a burgeoning startup, the platform currently doesn’t meet the needs of my company. Without significant improvements in functionality, reliability, and customer service, I cannot recommend Jestor to others looking for an effective project management solution.

Apologies for our team's delay. We sent you multiple emails informing you of the delay, and I appreciate your responses. I understand your frustration and assure you that we are taking steps to prevent such issues in the future. The "actions" model was discontinued a year ago; I hope the replacement meets your needs. As for your feedback on the product, I value your perspective, although I disagree with some points. Jestor has successfully replaced tools like Notion, Airtable, and ClickUp for companies with over 1000 users. Jestor is primarily a no-code platform, not just a project management tool. Its effectiveness depends on your ability to design robust processes and data structures. It is not as immediately functional as off-the-shelf or semi-flexible solutions, but we are committed to simplifying its use. - If any reader of this review is interested in trying Jestor, you can email [email protected], mention this review, and I will personally guide you through a product tour.

Incredible Platform
Comments: Love the platform and love the team behind it!
Pros:
What I liked most about Jestor is the comprehensive set of field types available, which has allowed me to build very flexible and robust applications tailored specifically to my business needs. The ability to edit my own applications which are crucial for the daily operations of my business adds a significant layer of agility and responsiveness. This capability ensures that I can quickly implement or test new ideas without going through a lengthy process of finding a developer.
Cons:
As with any highly flexible, powerful platform, Jestor comes with a slight learning curve. There are templates and a pretty comprehensive knowledge base, so I advise making use of those when you get started. It will be worth the investment of time in the end.

Hey Steve, Thank you for sharing your feedback! We understand the learning curve can be steep, especially for new users. We're actively working to minimize this by investing time and resources into user-friendly solutions. As you suggested, templates are a great tool for this, and we're excited to announce that we'll be launching 10-20 new templates starting this week. We hope these will make it easier for you and other users to build with Jestor. :)

A perfect tool for internal projects and for backend
Comments: I feel happy with Jestor, they helped me when I needed to quickly change my approach with technology within my operation.
Pros:
Jestor is de-facto a backend-as-a-service to me, which allowed me to scale my developer operation without having to scale my team up.
Cons:
I actually think they can improve on the support and community areas, I was not able to connect to more clients using Jestor to exchange knowledge or hire talents.

Thanks Jean!! I agree with you, we should have a community. We're studying the best model for our users. The creation of a Capterra account is one of our steps in that direction. We'd love to hear your thoughts on the topic.
