Photoshop Elements is a lifesaver\! > > **Cons**: It's not as powerful as Photoshop, but it's perfect for everyday photo editing. > > Dead easy to touch up photos and create simple visuals. Used to use Photoshop, but that was a bit overkill for what I need. Much more straightforward, this. ----- ### "A good tool if you are starting a career in Graphic Design" — 4.0/5 > **Bruno** | *14 July 2026* | Automotive | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10 > > **Pros**: I had the opportunity to use Photoshop Elements in a professional context, given that I had to create promotional material for our company. I concretely enjoyed it for many reasons. Firstly, it is easy to use and learn, given that it has a simplified interface, which is more approachable for beginners. In addition, it allows its users to progress from basic to more advanced techniques without being overwhelmed. Another positive aspect is that you can use it through a one-time purchase, which is a perfect approach for starters. In fact, it can be more cost-effective for people who don't need a lot of updates. Furthermore, it has strong and easy photo editing tools, which allow you to crop, resize images and adjust brightness and contrast. > > **Cons**: I am also aware that Photoshop Elements has some faults and disadvantages. Firstly, its editing tools are quite limited. For example, it doesn't include advanced retouching, compositing, and precision editing features. In addition, its layer capabilities are reduced. This software presents selection tools which are less precise for complex tasks. I also discovered that it has limited support for professional workflows. In fact, it lacks advanced colour management, CMYK editing, and other tools. Lastly, it doesn't have a lot of AI and automation features. > > My overall experience with Photoshop Elements was quite positive. I used it to create many promotional pictures for the company I am working for. My current idea is that this software is the perfect choice for hobbyists and starters in the Graphic Design Industry. However, if you are an experienced professional, it may have too many technical limitations. ----- ### "Studio level edits right from home" — 5.0/5 > **Eric** | *1 December 2024* | Oil & Energy | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: This is an absolute beast of photo editor the amount of options and presets this software has is amazing. > > **Cons**: It took a bit of research and watching online tutorials to learn how to effectively use this software. > > It was great once i learned how to properly use. The amount of features this software has even over old photoshop is Staggering. ----- ### "Great Tool for Less Money" — 5.0/5 > **James** | *11 February 2025* | Religious Institutions | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: It allows you the functionality of full Photoshop without the recurring cost associated with the Adobe Suite. > > **Cons**: I do not like that they do not allow you to do CMYK color profiles in the elements version. > > It works and it works well. I have purchsed more recent versions over the years as things get updated, but the one time price is nice. ----- Page: 1 / 8\ Next: [Next page](https://www.capterra.co.uk/software/1015716/photoshop-elements?page=2) ## Links - [View on Capterra](https://www.capterra.co.uk/software/1015716/photoshop-elements) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | de | | | de-AT | | | de-CH | | | en | | | en-AE | | | en-AU | | | en-CA | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-IL | | | en-IN | | | en-NZ | | | en-SG | | | en-ZA | | | fr | | | fr-BE | | | fr-CA | | | fr-LU | | | ja | | ----- ## Structured Data
