5.0 7 years ago

Comments: Easy to implement
Easy to manage
Easy to configure

Many of the functionalities are driven by setup. Its just plug and play. LS DD Powerful tool for the data replication. It is a complete package for retail. Customizations to suit desired needs are 1% maximum since all functionalites are out of the box

Cons:

There are no much concerns about this software. The one and only difficulty is training. It is hard to find the Training and the Trainer.

Implementing LS-NAV always went smooth. The latest developments are a real addition to LS-NAV.

5.0 7 years ago

Comments: The ease of use makes the difference!

Pros:

It has a lot to offer out-of-the box and on top of that it is really easy to customize for that demanding customer. The help that is available from LS (academy, consultancy, help-desk) was a bit unknown to me, but since we got in contact it is that "+1" for me.

Cons:

It can be a bit overwhelming for first-time users, but also for junior consultants. But at the same time it is easy to learn.

This software is the most valuable and simplto use in the Retail industries.

5.0 7 years ago

Comments: I've learned more about of the retail industry and I can offer to our customers a product solution with a great functionality and capabilities with an easy way to use.

Pros:

The integration of Microsoft Dynamics Nav from the Front to Backoffice covering every area of the product.

Cons:

Sincerely I don't have any complains about the software. What I like least would be the way the software setup the different screen menues for the POS client.

LS Retail is the feature full product which can be easily fit to any Retail or Hospitality business.

5.0 7 years ago

Pros:

LS Retail is like a doctor of Retail business which has the solution of all your business problems. LS connectivity with Navision is beauty of it as data replication is just a simple configuration.

Cons:

LS Retail should arrange the training on quarterly basis to explain the new features. Training can definitely help the LS Retail partners to increase their knowledge in shorter time

Great POS

5.0 7 years ago

Pros:

I like the fact that LS includes everything involved in a retail solution, from the Point of sale to scales to credit cards to coupons, campaigns, memberships with specialized solutions for certain niches, like hotels where you can purchase add-ons. There is no real competitor, customers would have to put together several vendors to get together same functionality.

Cons:

Of course with a very comprehensive solution, it is complicated to run, setup and maintain. You certainly need to train a super user team to understand the features and help users. This goes both for the end user and the resellers. LS is a European company. They did not have US customer service last time but this will now be accomplished with the trained resellers.

I've implemented LS NAV as a customer, and now as a Microsoft Consultant. Great product if done well

5.0 7 years ago

Pros:

LS NAV integration with Dynamics NAV is hands down the biggest advantage of this solution. The solution is complete, but you must find the right MS partner to get you through the implementation. This is not an ''add-on'' but a full Retail Suite.

Cons:

Lack of documentation is my main concern about the product. Support from LS Retail can be quit difficult.

4.0 5 years ago

Comments: Providing additional sales and inventory functions for checkout. Program structure solutions provide a good way to implement them.

Pros:

Usability and after training, easy to change functions and interface at checkout.

Cons:

In some situations, functionality does not work as needed and thus requires code changes.

I have been selling LS RETAIL for last 5 years . Most easy and user friendly retail solution.

5.0 7 years ago

Pros:

I liked the most is that LS retail has is having completed functionality and features required for running retail operations.

Cons:

Nothing as such . LS retail requires the devices to be constantly connected to the internet. If the connection is unstable or haphazard, risk breaks in your service.

Its a good Application, flexible, leverages NAV capabilities. East to use , easy to deploy.

4.0 7 years ago

Pros:

It is adaptive, flexible architecture. Easy to develop customisations and deployment. simplicity of Pos Features. Integrated application to Inventory and Finance. Discounts , Promotions, Loyalty module. Multiple templates in demo data.

Cons:

POS Configuration such as panels & design is quite complicated for users to grasp. Also it is not easy for customers to absorb. Replenishment setups needs lots of visualisation, setups take time, data maintenance is complicated. Lack of tools such as label printing configurator, OPOS Receipt configurator. Promotions have performance issues for large retailers. Product maintenance is time consuming. Mass update of products is unavailable. Special orders are quite complicated and need to be simplified. Loyalty needs more profiling . Vouchers and Gift cards needs more details, using web services is not consistent due to traffic in Transaction server work table bottleneck. Staff management need to simplified for users usage. LS Hospitality KDS has lots of issues still not addressed for years. Licensing is expensive compare to other competitive products in the market which is most important and losing against the competitive products with lots of easy maintenance features.

One platform but still need to have more features

4.0 5 years ago

Comments: Goods to be the one platform but some features cannot compete with local software.

Pros:

- One Platform (ERP & POS) - Data Director is the best tool - Scaleable software - Priority on offers

Cons:

- Promotion, ex. birthday promotion, every of my customers complain on this a lot. Coz, the system you will trigger this only exact date of end customer birthday, which not good enough. Normally, they want option like 1. be Month Birthday or +- 15 days from end customer's birthday - On Mobile, local software can support on this a lot esp. hospitality - Web POS, quite slow - Hardware, your system required spect of hardware that very high performance esp. Store DB - Customer wants wise Retail on POS, they want the system to suggest what end customers should purchase - Loss prevention should include in standard, the price is too high - Still have some bugs - 3 levels of items are not enough. (Division, Category, Product group) - Auto post statement, imagine if there are more than 50+ store, a user have to come to post statement every morning, it is not practical to do. You should provide setup to do that and if not success should send email

Best ERP for Retail Industry.

4.0 5 years ago

Pros:

One of the best things about LS Retail is that it has been built on the most efficient SMB ERP Software(Navision). Its Data model is the best in the industry. LS Retail brings out the best features to enrich your Retail Business. You Can Customize the Product as per your Business needs and it helps to see the growth of the firm transparently.

Cons:

We experienced some latency in data replication and that was not been resolved for quite some time. we spent a couple of days to figure what was the issue. still, that can be easily overseen.

It's best for retail business just because of solution components and simpleness of POS.

4.0 7 years ago

Comments: I learned about this, working on it and getting so many things just because of this software.I improved my skills and getting hike upon this :)

Pros:

implementation phase is very good & simple for any beginner.POS is very clear concept for anyone & the most important thing that I like very much is troubleshooting.

Cons:

I like any software if it's user friendly, and the all qualities are available that I need already there.Troubleshooting is very conceptual and easy to use that I like mostly.

The most powerful software

5.0 5 years ago

Pros:

No matter what activities are to be performed, all types of tasks are done with ease, transactions are intuitively completed by the cashiers, whilest customers can still be advised, or if administrators are setting up complex benefits for the the sales process.

Cons:

It is sometimes a challenge to find the right way to fulfil a specific task, because there are always many and different ways to achieve the needed functionality.

You will have all the features you want it on the retail field.

4.0 7 years ago

Pros:

the stability and the functionality. I tried another software, I think the Ls retail is one of the best for retail industry. easy to use, learn, troubleshooting, implement. Really you will have all the features you want it on the retail field.

Cons:

the performance issue and the upgrade. it will be a huge difference if you find an easy way to make the upgrade and to find some way to enhance the improvement as well. also I think you must find an easy way to shrink the database, because as you know the retail business have a huge transaction and information.

One solution for the retail challenges

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: I have faced implementation in many stores and once you create one, the rest is easy to replicate and the way you can handle data trough Reporting services lets you see facts in real time.

Pros:

The software is very intuitive and solves most of the problems you can find in the retail industry from gas stations to brick & morter retail. Be able to fuse all of this with an ERP as Dynamics makes possible to face critical solutions in real time. In my opinion the most comprehensive solution for retail at this time.

Cons:

As any other software with big security features, can be overwhelming to face certain problems in this regard.

LS Retail for NAV is comprehensive and flexible software to meet most all POS / Retail needs

5.0 7 years ago

Comments: Full visibility and access to all aspects of business in one product without integration points or best-of-breed software issues. LS Retail is a flexible, comprehensive, all-in-one software.

Pros:

LS is 100% fully integrated into NAV functionality with direct and full connections with sales, purchases, inventory, and financials. All POS and Stores are directly connected to headquarters and everything in between for full visibility into all areas of business.

Cons:

Two things - one is setup, because it is so flexible, setup is extremely complex. Once it is setup, little needs to happen and it is very flexible so changes can be made quickly. Second is VAT vs Sales Tax calculations - especially with prepayments. Software is based on VAT, but has Sales Tax (North America) built on top of / besides which can have rounding issues.

I am using from LS 4.0 to LS2017 overall is very good but installation need to be easy.

4.0 7 years ago

Pros:

I am loving this LS Retail from beginning, my big journey with LS Retail and I am certified in LS2013. my most like part is DD, TS, POS setup related all activity. Hardware setup and testing with LS.

Cons:

POS, DD, TS, Distribution, Distribution Location and Hospitality, menu Profile setup and Design. also end of the day process, item setup and user and roles and permission.
