Pros:

It is super straight forward process when adding your expenses from any work trip and once you hit submit getting your money refunded is typically smooth.

Cons:

We were told that our cards would sync up, but they didn't and the customer service was bad. We really didn't even get to use the software as we never got through the whole onboarding phase.

SAP Concur wastes your time

Comments: Confusing, waste of precious time, responses from support people look like they are AI generated.

Pros:

I don't like anything about Concur. The program requires the user to put in all sorts of nit-picky data.

Cons:

1. For one simple trip, it literally takes 3+ hours to input your receipts, input all of the nitpicky data and deal with admin complaints such as, "Please explain why you are taking a taxi from the airport to the hotel". 2. I have a grant and should not be doing support staff work like this -- having faculty deal with the clunky system and people who refuse to help us ultimately does not generate $ for my University. 3. My University and the bureaucracy of SAP Concur acts like my time is free, when ultimately they are stealing from themselves and not using my time efficiently.

Expense reporting fast and easy

Comments: Overall, our experience with SAP Concur has saved us time and money by allowing users to snap and upload a picture of the receipt without having to be logged into their computer. It has also accelerated our approval process allowing for expenses to be paid in a more timely manner.

Pros:

We have used SAP Concur for a couple of years now and it has made our expense reporting fast and easy. The photos on the go for receipts has been invaluable.

Cons:

The only thing I don't like about SAP Concur is to have to do a header report summary. This is double work as all the same information can be found in each expense.

SAP Concur is useful to complete all travel related claims online through the application with very minimal paperwork. All documents related to claims can be scanned and uploaded online. Getting approvals from the next level approver is very systematic and timely auto email notifications are sent

Streamlines and Stress-Free Expenses

Comments: The app is amazing, it lets me just take a picture of my receipt and upload it on the go (so I don't have to save receipts and pieces of paper in my wallet!). It integrates with my credit cards, travel rewards, and loyalty accounts too.

Pros:

Concur has totally streamlined the way we handle expenses at our company! The platform is super efficient, intuitive, and designed to be really user-friendly. Submitting expenses isn't this terrible, time consuming process with Concur....it's pretty simple and clear.

Cons:

No real concerns!! And if there ever is a problem, the customer support team is really responsive and supportive.

Pros:

SAP Concur is used in few selected departments in my organization, my business unit being the main. I like that it offers iOS and Android mobile apps which makes it easy to carry out accounting tasks on the go.

Cons:

However, the mobile app has limited features compared to cloud-based.

Automate Your Expense and Travel Management Program with Ease!

Pros:

SAP's fully-built integrations with Frequent Flyer programs, Lyft, travel agencies, and Google make my travel planning experience enjoyable and automated. I no longer have to worry about adding flyer status, marking calendars, upload receipts, etc. Everything is done for me by Concur, saving time and money in the process.

Cons:

The UI/UX can be a little clunky and slow at times. It definitely takes some time to get used to how things are laid out and how the workflows operate. But, once you get the hang of it, it's smooth sailing ahead.

Pros:

It is very user-friendly platform that one can use. You can easily submit requests for travels, expense reports, book flights and hotels with just a few clicks. It also has a mobile app support where you can easily upload receipts and submit expenses.

Cons:

The customer support is not the best. If one is calling the phone line sometimes it can wait up to 20 minutes for an agent.

Comments: Once you get it down you’re fine. It’s hormone of those programs you can Bs on you have to pay attention but it’s also very in depth to [sensitive content hidden] thinks easier for us so I think it’s great being that I’m a detailed person anyway.

Doing expenses can be easy - just takes a bit of a learning curve

Comments: All in all, Concur does what it is supposed to do. There are a few things you learn over time that make things easier or help you along the way. It's not the most intuitive UI, but I see SAP's progress. So, I'm hopeful this will continue to improve. I've been using that tool now for many years (with 1-4 reports per month - creating and approving), and I have a pretty good system to do the expenses properly and efficiently. There are also more possibilities to help me do my reports. E.g., I would love to have templates for regular expenses. Let's say I expensed a particular bill every month - it would be great if I could mark that as a template and copy a version of that into my following reports - adjusting only the things that changed (e.g., the receipt image or the entry date. That would certainly save me time.

Pros:

SAP Concur is pretty standard in the industry for that purpose. It has a few features and functions that can justify that market share. I enjoy the widespread connections between apps I regularly use for business travel (e.g., Lyft, Uber, our travel agency app) and Concur. As soon as my ride is done, there is a new expense available that I can add to my report. Most fields for each item are filled out correctly, so I only need to add the missing items. I also don't need to scan the receipt or attach it somehow. Speaking of connecting - that's the second significant advantage. While doing my expense reports on my desktop computer, I can quickly log onto my mobile app and take a picture of a receipt I don't have digitally - e.g., the bill from my restaurant visit. Both work simultaneously - so I don't get logged out if I use the other channel.

Cons:

SAP Concur has improved its UI over the last few years, and it looks a lot more modern than it was before. Still, a few things are a bit old-school—for example, the view of an expense. I also approve reports for my team members, so I must open each expense and check the fields. At this point, this is still the old grayish windows-95-style form with the chained properties. What's possible can be seen when you enter an expense. Here, you see the properties in a somewhat modern design.
