Social media marketing solution that helps businesses create personalized marketing plans based on targeted audience and budget.
Great integration and interface and fun as well.
Some times a lot of unwanted content makes you frustrated on Facebook, although options are available to avoid such content which you don't like. Software should be more user-friendly.

A powerful, yet complicated, advertising tool
Comments: We are an advertising agency and we are using Meta for Business on a daily basis for a number of our clients. The wealth of tools & options that it provides can be powerful when used correctly. However, the complexity of the tool and the endless metrics can misguide both users and end clients, when it comes to reviewing results & deciding on upcoming campaign optimisations.
Pros:
The platform is always updated & renewed with new functionalities to help advertisers target their audiences.
Cons:
The fact that the platform is always updated, it makes it less user friendly, especially for people who are not using it on a daily basis. Also, the platform is trying to automate everything through AI hence users need to be really experienced in order to make the most out of the platform.
Alternatives Considered:
Advertising Manager
Comments: My overall experience is i've been using the platform over the last 10-12 years running ads for various events, concerts, brands or talent.
Pros:
Running ads via multiple placements using one platform to control ad delivery.
Cons:
You cant control frequency within the platform and even when you create rules they are not as effective as you'd like them to be.

It's simply a very bad tool overall
Comments: HORRIBLE. That's it! We just use it sometimes because our customers ask for it, but we try to avoid it whenever possible.
Pros:
I honestly do not see many pros for this other than still having a lot of users inside Facebook and Instagram. Other than that, it's miserable!
Cons:
The fact that menus are constantly changing. Multiple and unstable errors in multiple parts of the platform. "Robot like" answers from support (this is by far the worst support I've ever seen and I know many people that worked for their support that gave up because their managers were simply very bad so it's a top to bottom problem inside the company). It's unbearable the fact that I know one specific case where two accounts (one page and one personal profile) that were stolen and their automated answer was multiple times the same: "You have to login to your account and change your password." A stolen account and this is the answer to the original owner? It's just unbelievable. We had multiple cases where we wanted to stop a campaign and were charged more than what we initially expected. We had cases where we wanted to remove ourselves or customers from pages and there were multiple errors. We cannot believe how Meta Business can still survive honestly... other than the number of users, it's horrible their service.
A must have for online businesses
Pros:
Perfect centralized platform for managing ads across Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger. I particularly appreciate its intuitive interface, which simplifies creating, managing, and analyzing ad campaigns. The detailed audience targeting options are impressive, allowing me to reach specific demographics with precision. Additionally, the analytics dashboard provides real-time insights into campaign performance, helping me adjust strategies quickly. The integration with Meta Pixel is also a major plus, Overall, it's a comprehensive tool for businesses aiming to enhance their digital marketing efforts.
Cons:
While Meta for Business is powerful, it has a steep learning curve for beginners. The interface, although feature-rich, can feel overwhelming at times, especially when navigating advanced tools like Meta Pixel or A/B testing. Another drawback is the frequent updates, which sometimes disrupt workflows or require re-learning certain features. Additionally, customer support can be slow or inconsistent, making it challenging to resolve technical issues quickly. Lastly, ad costs can escalate rapidly without clear guidance, which might be a concern for smaller businesses with limited budgets.

Pros:
Great system for scheduling and sharing out posts, as well as engaging with customers on a personal and broad level.

A little too complicated having to switch to each individual business page when managing multiple pages

A must have for new businesses
Comments: easy to use and suggest any new business get it
Pros:
easy to use, gets my name out quick, i can post fast and then be on my way doing other more important business stuff
Cons:
not really anything that i do not like so far.
Alternatives Considered:
Not customer friendly
Comments: It’s rather easy to place advertising on meta but the value is low. There is tons of snap and fake accounts posting as meta that are trying to scam and it seems meta really isn’t monitoring it. However it hard to tell and there is no real support or customer care. It’s just pay us and your ad will run no value added no support no real interaction at all it’s a rather cold and untrustworthy interaction, especially in a doing business with scenario.

A well mapped program!
Comments: Used several of the metaphor business features integrated with other programs and was very happy with it
Pros:
Tons of features all in one program! Efficient! Yeah, I think we do like 568. What’s that that means like in a week will continuously start getting 100. Yeah cause they’re 25 or 15 and so if we do five a day in about a week, we’ll start getting five a day paid.
Cons:
I had a few issues with linking payments, but got it figured out
Great product with easy to follow guide
Comments: I enjoy using the app for my business, it gives better value for money per lead and it has a very large communities of audience across many niche.
Pros:
Easy to use with guide and tips to support users at every point, with great data insight from every ad touchpoints
Cons:
Payment can be very challenging, card selection and rejection occurs often
Meta for Business is NECESSARY for Business
Pros:
Every business needs Meta for Business. Being able to schedule content, having your content calendar, viewing analytics, real-time chat and automated chat, and having both Facebook and Instagram is crucial. It's very easy to use, and it often has valuable recommendations, including active times for posting. It's perfect for marketers who work with multiple accounts because you can be an admin of an unlimited amount of accounts. It's free, and paid advertising is low-cost. The analytics alone would be worth paying (but you don't have to!). There are so many great features and functions - I could keep writing for hours.
Cons:
There are not many cons with Meta for Business. On rare occasions, a post may fail to publish when it's scheduled—that can be very frustrating, so it's important to check to make sure it's published properly. You may have an issue with tagging as a user may not always come up but there's a workaround by typing in the profile URL. Meta for Instagram analytics is frequently inaccurate, so I highly recommend going directly to Instagram and manually pulling post analytics.
Great App!
Comments: My overall experience was it’s very efficient and effective when growing an account.
Pros:
I like the features of an app designed to manage multiple social media accounts at once.
Cons:
I didn’t like how difficult it was to delete accounts or replace accounts.
A must use tool if you can overlook the customer service
Comments: Overall, I love the product when it's working properly. When there is a service-wide glitch, it can be painful.
Pros:
Meta is a powerhouse for targeted image ads. Its a necessary part of most full scale marketing campaigns because you can achieve great results.
Cons:
Meta's customer service is almost non-existent. You bounce from an automated message to a real person constantly redirecting you to another team which will then redirect you back to the first team. It won't get resolved if you can't solve your issue yourself.

Great Software for Social Media Marketing!
Comments: Overall, the experience has been great, even though there can be a few glitches. For the number of enhancements and productivity this software provides, it needs better and more consistency in updates.
Pros:
This software is excellent, easy to use, and streamlined across multiple accounts for our program. We have been integrating Meta for a while now since we discovered how much data is presented on our engagement and marketing strategies to our audience!
Cons:
It is hard to navigate how to merge social media accounts so content can be shared on both platforms. I have looked up numerous "how-tos" and community threads. Even though I have taken all of the correct steps, it is still unsuccessful.
Meta is still a must for fashion businesses
Comments: We need to work with Meta, but the idea for me is to diversify the acquisition channels as much as possible so not to be too Meta dependant.
Pros:
Meta allows you to push your brand through instagram and facebook. If you have nice content, even with a rather small budget you can reach your first customers.
Cons:
It is sometimes very difficult to talk to someone in charge when you have issues. The advice from Meta's team are not always oriented towards improving the business and performance for their customers.
A must have for running ads on Facebook and Instagram
Pros:
Meta for Business is the only tool you can use . The scalability makes it ideal for businesses of all sizes, no matter what the conversion goal is.
Cons:
The dashboard can be very overwhelming for new users. There are certain features that even after using the tool for several years I don't know what they are for or how to use them properly.
Great for tapping into the power of Facebook's algorithms
Comments: Very good. Takes a bit of time to get familiar with it, and it does keep changing. But overall, it's very good.
Pros:
Really works re putting posts and adverts infront of the right audience.
Cons:
The pixel is not as useful as I would like it to be.
Most confusing software I've ever used
Comments: Very frustrating, confusing and anger enducing.
Pros:
I like that you can now schedule social content in the app itself. Other third party apps got my Instagram account blocked.
Cons:
Almost everything. It's the most confusing piece of software I've ever seen. Every time I click on something, the whole layout and interface changes and it seems to bring you to a new version of the same system, where everything is different. I'm always lost, can never find what I'm looking for and hate to use it.
Meta Ads always in your marketing mix
Comments: Essential advertising platform for your digital advertising strategy.
Pros:
The segmentation capacity it offers. The advertising inventory. The creative capacity that you can contribute with your ads.
Cons:
Sometimes, integration with other platforms can be a bit complex and in some countries traffic is a bit expensive compared to other acquisition channels.
More of a 'should have' than 'must have'
Comments: Overall, a presence on Meta nowadays is almost an unwritten rule of any business, however I would not recommend managing it yourself unless you have prior experience with the platform. It has awful customer support that will either advise you cannot do things or just send you the link to the closest matching FAQ (IF you can actually get a hold of their support, that is). Even if you do take on the challenge, you could end up spending a lot more than you need too due to the complexity and vagueness of the pricing. That being said, if used effectively, Meta can be one of the most powerful marketing tools you can get utilise, it just has to be used correctly.
Pros:
Meta for Business provides possibly the largest exposure for customers possible, however it can be quite difficult to use and costly to use effectively.
Cons:
The sheer complicated factor of Meta combined with it's almost useless customer support mean it's almost impossible to get help using the product, and is one reason why third party social media management companies exist in order to do this for you. Unless you have experience using this product, you almost certainly will not use it to it's full potential.

Powerfull tool for companies advertising
Comments: Great platform for social media marketing.
Pros:
The tools for manage advertising and content on social media.
Cons:
Could be expensive in some cases but it depends of different factors.
Separate app, wonderful!
Comments: Fairly good, some things are not user Friendly but most is.
Pros:
The seperate app to keep things separate.
Cons:
It can be very confusing to find things within the app.
Results are Worth It
Comments: Overall I do like the option to use Meta for my business and like that I can track results. It can be technically difficult to set up campaigns and get effective results. Sometimes is glitch and lord help you if something goes wrong and you need support - practically impossible to get in touch and get actual help.
Pros:
I do get results most of the time and can attribute results directly to my advertising spend
Cons:
Can be complicated and difficult to set up. Customer support is not great. They will spend your money. highly monetized platform
Easy to promote my business
Pros:
What I like the most is how easy it is to market my business and how easy it is to create ads for my business.
Cons:
What I like the least is the Messaging feature. I can receive messages from anyone but I am unable to message an individual or business first. When i want to reach out to another business to work with if they haven't messaged me first I have to message them from my personal page.
It Doesnt Make sense NOT to have it in todays environment
Pros:
It is a no-brainer. If you're a business of any kind you NEED to have META. Whether you like it or not, it's the biggest marketing platform there to manage the online presence of your business. It has a great tool set and has evolved so much since the "FacebookGO" days.
Cons:
Customer service at Facebook is just bad. You have to contact them via chat/email... years ago you would have a rep with a number and it was great. If you miss an appointment with them for any of your business review, they just leave you hanging forever it seems.
