Easy payroll solution

Comments: easy to use software, we are happy with the product

Pros:

easy to use, easy solution for foreign payroll

Cons:

little flexibility: pre-payment for one of our employees was difficult to achieve way of invoicing: pre-payroll and actual payroll: this brings extra work as you have to check everything double

Great partner with incredible potential

Comments: Since we work in different countries, the topics and circumstances of the individual countries are the challenge. Remote and team are always there when you need them and take care of all your questions.

Pros:

Fast response within 48 hours and very friendly and solution-orientated staff

Cons:

The uncomplicated contact and the totally friendly communication

99% excellent just a couple annoyances

Comments: Remote is our key EOR partner and enables our business to move internationally without much issue. In general we are very happy with them.

Pros:

Great service, solid tech platform, reasonable pricing

Cons:

Payments used to be immediate now they take a couple days to be reflected, which is especially challenging as the company as a whole is very unforgiving of any payment delays and will freeze your account. It's very disruptive.

Very user-friendly service that provides great HR value

Pros:

The system is very comprehensive - I am not sure there has ever been a service I wanted to implement that I was unable to. The customer support is also very helpful.

It can get expensive, especially with a growing team.

Great Support and easy to use platform for HR purposes

Comments: Great experience overall. Great team support always whenever I have an enquiry it is answered professionaly and in a great timely manner.

Pros:

I like the easy to use platform. Everything is clear and there are lots of step by step instructions to use.

Cons:

The only thing I would mention is that now there are compeitors like Oyster. How does the pricing compare?

fairly predictable. Employees are paid, benefits are offered in compliance with country laws. invoices are timely.

Employees don't know where to enter their PTO

Terrible service, many errors, very frustrating

Comments: Unfortunately, Remote is the only available international payroll service that partners with Gusto. If I had any other option, I would have changed ten times already. Their service is incredibly slow, and never answers my questions correctly. Not once actually. The answers are broad, not personalized to my cases, and I have to continuously follow up and escalate in order to get resolution. Nearly every step in the setup had an error that I had to catch and fix, and still months in there are errors in employee invoices that take weeks to resolve. Very frustrating experience to work with them!

Pros:

The ability to pay international workers

Cons:

Their terrible service, their slow processes, the incorrect invoices, the unfamiliarity with international labor laws and processes

Out of Country Employees

Comments: Remote has made it tremendously easy to work with our out of country employees. They handle almost everything and keep us updated on anything we need to know or approve.

Pros:

Easy use for our out of the country employees.

Cons:

We have not terminated any employees with Remote, but we were informed that we would have to give plenty of notice if we were going to work with them to give a severance. This has not been an issue, I just have not used the process yet.

Comments: Overall the user experience is is good. I like the past response times overall

Pros:

Its easy to use, add or remove team members. The customer contact is really fast. Quick to set-up and onboard new team members.

Cons:

Sometimes when you have a question I did not receive the answer I was looking for or the reply was not send to me. This happened only once or twice so not too bad. If would be nice to have Remote connected to the accounting software.

Friendliness, respect and follow-up

Minor detail but remote did not integrate with our HR tool, so we had to use two HR softwares for internal and external employees.

Great platform for hiring talents across the world

Comments: Our overall experience with Remote is great. Customer service especially stands out: it's very responsive and always finds the right solution. We cannot imagine hiring process without Remote.

Pros:

Remote is a prefect platform for hiring people from across the world. The ease of implementation, super intuitive admin panel and truly amazing customer service - those advantages has made it impossible for us to imagine working without Remote. Remote team will take care of every step of the onboarding and offboarding of the employee, ensuring that we are up to date with the process. The payroll administration is very helpful as well. What is also important, with Remote we don't have to worry about regulatory compliance - we are sure at all times that everything is done in accordance with the regulations of the given country.

Cons:

The pricing is a bit high, but taking into consideration the quality of service, it is acceptable.

Pros:

I think what makes Remote special is a customer service. The representative of Remote for my company: [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is always very helpful, reachable and takes care of all the questions we have regarding the contracts, platform etc. I definitely recommend [SENSITIVE CONTENT] expertise to all the clients!

Cons:

The deadline to pay invoices - 1 week is very short to proceed all the documents internally.

I thought it was bad until we've switched to a competitor

Pros:

- Overall the UI is really intuitive and easy to navigate - very straightforward onboarding - lots of good resources to assist with info on each country and their own regulations - easy way to submit expenses and a clear dashboard of where things are at.

Cons:

-they are a victim of their own success support takes ages to get back to you. -original bundles of benefits were somewhat dubious in the UK ( a no name pension provider and medical) -not really geared for contractors but more for remote employees

Smooth collaboration and great customer support

Pros:

The collaboration with remote is very smooth and helps our business a lot as it allows us to hire people globally. Our account manager, Florian, is super fast in responding, always friendly and helpful. The tool is easy to use, intuitive and has a modern design.

Cons:

It would be great if our HR admin tool Hibob and the remote software would synchronize automatically (vacation, change of master data etc).

Good overall Product

Pros:

Employee profiles and data management - Customer support has been key to the successful use of the software. Our account manager is Florian Prokosch and he has supported us throughout and continues to do so. Very happy with the support provided and ease with which queries and clarified.

Cons:

The initial set up and understanding the cost of an employee to our company as an employer can be tricky.
