Pros:

I recently had some complicated unapproved share options to sort for a number of our American employees. Being new to the platform, I wasn't sure how things worked but he was super helpful in guiding me through the whole process.

Cons:

It can be quite confusing if you haven't used it much before, but ben made it very easy for me to understand the platform

EMI Options & Growth Shares

Pros:

The system is very detailed and in most part user friendly. Though one of the best things about Vestd. is the customer support and hand holding. From initial discussions, setup, to questions, meetings and advice the support I would say is top notch.

Cons:

The only slight issue is that it wasn't always easy to know what you need to do on the site, if you are doing it alone. Though as above the support is excellent, so it pays to have the all in package.

EMI option grants

Comments: Helpful support team and always happy to help

Pros:

Like it can all be sent electronically and set up templates

Cons:

Templates have to wait for vestd support to update however on this occasion [sensitive content hidden] turned around super quick v happy

Great customer service

Comments: Straightforward and responsive to setting up a simple EMI scheme.

Pros:

Affordable, with great customer service and user friendly platform.

Cons:

For a micro business, you don't need the full range of services after the first year.

Great product and customer service

Comments: Used it issue share certificates during our funding rounds, to visualise the equity cap table, to complete admin tasks for companies house and HMRC, and to set up our EMI share scheme for employees. Would definitely recommend it and found it to be incredibly useful.

Pros:

Ease of use, lots of help articles, lots of automations, synced with Companies House, great customer service.

Cons:

Fairly costly, but would certainly say it's worth the cost.

Amazing software, amazing team. You're in good hands.

Cons:

The whole process you have to go through in order to register shares with HMRC. However, to be fair that relates more to HMRC than Vestd.

A little expensive for what I use it for. Hopefully, it will become more valuable over time.

Great Support as always

Pros:

Such a pleasure to work with [sensitive content hidden] and his colleagues. Highly knowledgeable taking what can be a confusing project into something quite seamless. Terrific resources - all round a great tool!

Cons:

A few features still required but in fairness this are fairly specific requests and believe they are on the roadmap

Helpful, knowledgeable and obviously empowered, support staff

Comments: Overall, we are very happy with vestd and doubt we would managed to set up our Employee Share Scheme without them.

Pros:

I love the assistance and advice I receive from all support staff at Vestd. I would particularly commend [sensitive content hidden] in this regard.

Cons:

Perhaps too much information: too many documents providing the same information, particularly in the marketing material.

Customer support is excellent

Pros:

Vestd provides a comprehensive platform for equity management and their customer support is excellent - they're always on hand with prompt responses and solutions should any issue arise.

Cons:

The UX could be designed to be a little clearer and more user friendly.

Very straight forward platform for a beginner in share options to use.

Nothing, the interaction with inland revenue was a little tricky but that's not vestd fault, it's just typical inland revenue issues.

Good product and service

Pros:

The ease of use once the products been setup has been brilliant and makes filings alot easier and cheaper than it's alternatives

Cons:

The initial product setup was a challenge to bring our structure to the platform, but that's not a Vest'd problem

Complexity made simple through great service

Comments: Top class, seamless, supportive. I could not have asked for better service. Highly recommended!

Pros:

The onboarding with fantastic customer service - caring, attentive, supportive, understanding, going at my pace, and educating all the way. The platform; whilst initially daunting became easy to use through the great onboarding/screen-sharing support. It can do so much and save so much time, I am looking forward to using it more & more.

Cons:

Nothing. I have no criticism at all. Everyone thing and everyone was spot on.

Customer Support

Pros:

At the start of choosing the company for investment purposes, there was a video detailing their product and it also provided their assurance in respect of support available.

Cons:

None. To be honest there are none. I have receiveived a helping hand all the way through to submission of final EMI notification

Peace of mind & ease of use

Comments: This has been the real positive, the software just does what it needs to and maintains a clean record of our affairs. What has made Vestd such a good choice for us is the very detailed and thoughtful guidance before, during and long after signing up. They have made time and brain available to understand our business, its needs and objectives and given advice on that basis. Never with any pressure or spin. About a year ago I was interviewing someone for a job. She had previously worked in a small company which she'd been in from the get-go. It had sold. I mentioned something about how presumably she'd walked away with some reward from it all. Raw nerve touched. Long story short, the owner had set up EMI shares themselves but hadn't done it correctly. The buyer came in, saw that the shares were incorrectly administered and gave her nothing at all. Moral of the story: if you are going to do this stuff, do it right.

Pros:

Like me, it's simple. It takes what is a potentially horrendously complex process and makes it simple and clear. The interface is very clear - that's both for me on the dashboard and for users who log in.

Cons:

Not a lot to say on this front, nothing springs to mind. Of course, I'm not someone with deep knowledge of share issues so there are better people to ask out there, somewhere...

Great product

Pros:

Extremely easy to use, intuitive and great support.

Cons:

More document templates would be nice, but this is a minor qualm.

Excellent Platform

Pros:

The ability to have everything managed in one place and not to have to use expensive lawyers

Cons:

Not much I did not like, I am a new user so yet to really get to know the platform

The software is a little on the expensive side for a SME.

Comments: Long term partnership, they helped shape our scheme and have been invaluable in getting our valuations over the line over the last few years.

Pros:

before Vestd we were manually updating spreadsheets and sending out information which was very time-consuming​. Vestd took all the admin out of our hands and automated it. Also the presentation of the information and flexibility​ of the application made internal and external reporting simple and efficient .
