The Easiest, Fastest and User-Friendly Tools for Everyone
Comments: Over the years of using Padlet, academics, and students have benefited most. From collaborating, and sharing ideas, to mood boards, the capabilities of padlet in an educational setting are limitless.
Pros:
I've used Padlet for the past few years, as it is one of the easiest, fastest, and most user-friendly tools I have encountered.
Cons:
Managing users as an admin is a bit of a hassle; if we have thousands of users, the time to load, for example, will be longer.

Padlet's Potential is Powerful
Comments: I love it and am still exploring in my mind the possibilites it is capable of for my classes.
Pros:
I initially use padlet for posting youtube music videos, but with my latest class I have asked them to also post introduction videos. When I initially tested out Padlet I saw that I could post music, word documents, presentations, gif files, and videos, so I knew in time I might expand upon my uses for it with my classes.
Cons:
I want more selection of art or photos for screens, so it was more on the design choices.

Pros:
It is user friendly, you do not need any extra skills to use it. It is easy to design for different target groups and needs.

Padlet for Creative Arts Educators
Comments: Excellent, really. I do enjoy the updates that come through. They are often very useful and I have learned a lot of tricks and tips to add to my educators tool belt.
Pros:
Padlet is a visually engaging, collaborative, organised and agile way of creating, storing and presenting resources. It is wonderful for presenting in an educational setting because students are able to access large amounts of information, attractively presented, in one place.
Cons:
We have invested time as a department setting up resources over the years on padlet, it worries us that one day the company could fold or end, then where would our resources go?
The Ultimate Multi-Use Sharing Space
Comments: Overall Padlet is a fantastic toolset. Whether you're just looking for a quick and easy digital whiteboard, a more comprehensive planning and organizational space, or a way to share and submit ideas and digital files Padlet has options that are likely to work for your specific need. I would highly recommend giving it a try.
Pros:
Padlet is a great multi-tasker - the Swiss Army Knife of digital collaboration. Many features that are the central selling point of entire services exist within Padlet as just another option for how you create your space. I use Padlet for sharing, working with teams, submitting ideas, and even to gather feedback.
Cons:
One downside of Padlet is the freedom and openness can mean that you have to be a bit more intentional about how you set up your space in order to get what you want. More options and flexibility is great! But it also means there's more to choose from and more to filter out.
The Perfect Jamboard Replacement has Arrived!
Comments: I liked Padlet. I LOVE Sandbox!! So easy to use, and as a professional trainer, user friendly on the other side of a virtual call as well!
Pros:
I have been mourning the loss of Jamboard since I first received notice that it was going away and searching for a replacement since. Sanbox is THE PERFECT replacement!!! Easy to use and share with some cool new features as well! I work as a professional trainer. Sandbox is A LIFESAVER to ensure I can get participants engaged and sharing thoughts and ideas easily and instantly.
Cons:
It would be nice if there were more solid background color choices.
One stop Shopping!
Comments: I love Padlet - it is always in my Top 5 Tech Tools that I take about at any presentation I do. Easy, so many options and I love the new recipes, this is very helpful for all users, new and old alike!!
Pros:
I love that it is so user-friendly, it makes it an easy tool to introduce to students and staff that are tech hesitant. We have students who are making their own Padlets to share with friends - favorite quotes, movies, etc.
Cons:
I wish it was a free program, but that is not realistic -

Loving Padlet!
Comments: I was introduced to it in 2019 and have found so many different uses for it in my face-to-face and online courses.
Pros:
I love the many different ways I can use Padlet in my courses. I use the map feature to discuss periods and poverty in my sex education course; I use the video uploads for students to introduce themselves; and I use the picture upload for a qualitative analysis of culture in my gender roles class.
Cons:
I don't like that I have to pay to use it in order to benefit from the uses I have for it, but at least it's tax deductible as a teacher expense.
Easy way to organize your self. Its a game changer.
Comments: Before keeping files and records was hard and mind numbing, but since i started using it things are easy and effective. It keeps assets and my team files very well.

Amazing tool for teaching any subject
Comments: It is an amazing easy tool to use for a wide range of purposes. As a teacher, many other resources are so subject specific that this tool is refreshing if you are a teacher of any subject and level. My creativity is the limit when it comes to how I can use the variety of layouts, options, etc. available with Padlet!
Pros:
I love the live updates, the security features, ease of setup and use, the clean visual interface, new user intuitive, and an excellent way to use technology as a TOOL to enhance what I already do in the classroom. If you need student engagement and to incorporate more technology, give Padlet a try. I use it for art critiques, peer feedback, brainstorming, researching, etc. I use it for student portfolios and you can have a custom URL.
Cons:
I wish the "Anonymous" name didn't appear for students that don't want to make an account (even though it is free). I then have to remind students to post their name for credit for their responses. I would like to see a field added where those contributing without an account have a "Name" field that I could enable so they would have to type something there before they can post.

Boosting the collaboration and creativity of my students in an interactive way thanks to Padlet
Comments: As I mentioned in a previous review, I was a tutor in an English academy, and I must admit that Padlet was an invaluable tool to encourage active participation and interactive learning in the classroom as this platform helped me create thematic boards with resources, such as vocabulary, images and practical exercises, thanks to this my students mentioned that they liked this feature because they could easily access the material at any time. Also, speaking of the real-time comment and reply feature, this helped my students and I because it made it easier for us to provide feedback and communication, improving their comprehension and confidence in the language. In summary, my teaching and learning experience using this tool was the best, because it provided me with an interactive and motivating virtual environment for the linguistic progress of the students.
Pros:
Of the many positive points that Padlet has, what I liked the most was that it allowed students to create personalized virtual boards quickly and easily and also that it has various display options, be it tiled, timeline or map and All these help flexibility in content organization. And finally, another function that I found very useful is that it has the real-time collaboration function between students and between teacher and students, facilitating teamwork and active participation of users.
Cons:
Of negative points I was able to realize that the free version has limitations in terms of the number of boards that can be created and the amount of content that can be stored, because in my case my organization provided me with the paid version and I had no limitations in the functionalities of this, however, users who do not have the premium version will be limited to many interesting features.

Comments: High satisfaction
Pros:
Easy to use. Professional presentation. Extremely essential during covid/online learning. Allows for replication to save time. Colourful and meaningful background options plus online search and link with own files and across tools. Timeline options and can add clips.
Cons:
Maybe more features like check lists? Marketing to universities as a option for lesson plans. This package is not well know amongst academics and required 'convincing' as a professional option.

Use of Padlet in Classroom Teaching
Comments: The problem is as stated above, that is, I would like to be able to know which student posted which of the comments so that a few students do not ruin my lessons with inappropriate comments and ridiculous pictures even vulgar in nature.
Pros:
It is time efficient and student friendly when used in my low ability classes in English Language. I could elicit input for example in writing an introductory paragraph from an entire class within a 30 minute period as the first post serves as an example for the rest to post. Subsequently, even the weakest student gets the idea and posts his/her paragraph. After this comes my feedback. I am able to correct their mistakes on the whiteboard on which their posts are projected and they are able to correct their mistakes using their iPads, on the spot. I am able to focus on the best posts and get the other students to emulate the best students.
Cons:
When students post, I am unable to know who posted what unless the person puts his/her name on the post. I have a few mischievious students who post inappropriate comments and hide behind the curtain of anonymity, hurting the others ' feelings and learning process. Could staff at Padlet improve on this such that all posts could be traced to the persons posting them. This would make Padlet an excellent teaching tool.

Hi Kanesananthan, We're so glad to hear that you find Padlet useful when teaching students with a range of skill levels. We're sorry to hear that you're having problems with anonymous posting but we want you to know that we do have privacy settings that prevent anonymous posting. IF you require students to log into accounts before they can post and set your padlet's privacy setting to 'logged-in users only' you will always see who posted what. Padlet is awesome
Comments: Love it and I would highly recommend it to any teacher wanting an easy prep for lesson planning.
Pros:
I love the set up and easy access in using Padlet for our planning and prep. It allows us to have a clear overview of the week's expectations for our subjects and easy access to the video clips, media and worksheet.

Ease of use
Comments: Definitely recommended for use with young and old.
Pros:
Variety of organisational maps & upload modalities, secure, friendly interface
Cons:
I can’t mark/ annotate and upload the same piece of submitted work. I’ve to repost after downloading the picture. Sometimes when I download the photo, the word “downloading” pops up on my phone but I can’t file it in files or photo album. So I don’t know where does the downloaded file stored.

Dread Rubric Writing No More
Comments: I work with pre-service teachers and Padlet is a wonderful way for them to experience technology they can use in the classroom. The new AI features are amazing and I am still working with refining my search terms. Students who are leery of technology have an easy time using Padlet and that is so helpful in easing them into other uses.
Pros:
I absolutely love the new rubric creation! This is a task I dreaded and now actually look forward to creating rubrics. Padlet takes my directions and generates a rubric to my specifications. I can then make any minor tweaks necessary and boom -my job is done.
Cons:
Honestly, what I like least is my inability to remember how to log in to our school site without having to open a pre-existing Padlet. That's all on me!

INDESPENSABLE
Comments: As a teacher, it is very helpful to be able to allow students to see & critique/score each other's work in writing and to document when assignments have been submitted.
Pros:
The best thing about PADLET is the ease of use by even the most tech-challenged students and colleagues.
Cons:
The need to purchase a minimum of 10 subscriptions for $1,000 is tough to budget for in these tough financial times for schools.

Padlet is the BEST
Pros:
I love the ease and the aesthetic appeal of Padlet. When my district went to online learning during COVID, I was scambling to find something I could use with my limited skills. I've never looked back! Padlet is still a daily part of my teaching.
Cons:

Visibility and individual interaction in the classroom
Comments: It has been a total game changer for me. It is my teaching management system. I also create individual padlets for my students and we use them to interact with each other outside of class for self- regulated learning and feedback.
Pros:
I use Padlet to present my lessons and share the links with my students giving everyone full visibility.
Cons:

Padlet for cross-course collaboration
Comments: Most recently, students used Padlet to have a tournament of Hispanic foods. They researched traditional foods from different countries and posted photos and descriptions of each. Each day, we had elimination challenges between two countries until, like in team sports tournaments, the last countries and their foods had play-offs and a winner was selected. This year it was Guatemala. The students got to try an authentic breakfast of Guatemalan foods as a celebration of their work. Padlet made this tournament possible.
Pros:
I love offering the same Padlet page to participants from different course sections who have never met in person. It inspires students to give their authentic best quality posts that everyone wants to read and respond to while staying on topic, knowing they are accountable for their submissions.
Cons:
There are only a few basic formats available to start, which is fine for what we need, but perhaps new setup formats will become available soon.
