About Shopify POS
Built for retail, Shopify POS brings your sales, inventory, customers, and more together across brick & mortar and online locations.
Customer service was also very responsive to our needs.
I wish it wouldve just converted that information directly from the website but it did not. Which was a bit frustrating.

I Am Most Impressed With Shopify
Comments: I’m very happy with them and have convinced my friend to sign up. She is happy with it too
Pros:
I love the ease of use and learning didn’t take too much time. I use it to cash out my customers and inventory management as well as website maintenance.
Cons:
The price. The additional apps can be confusing. I wish they had better apps for social media posts. They did but the social companies pulled the apps as far as I know. I can’t afford paid ads all the time and the posts directly from my products across all socials were so helpful. Now I can only post in Facebook.
Finance and internal operations director
Comments: My overall experience with Shopify POS has been positive. The system is intuitive and easy to use, offering seamless integration with the online store, which simplifies inventory management and sales tracking. The ability to customize features and accept various payment methods enhances its flexibility. However, there are occasional technical issues, but support is responsive though I believe it can improve further. Overall, it's a reliable solution for managing both in-store and online sales.
Pros:
It is very intuitive and friendly user for someone with little experience in the ecommerce sector.
Cons:
Its seamless integration with the Shopify online store, making it easy to manage inventory, sales, and customer data all in one place. The user-friendly interface and the ability to accept multiple payment methods were also major advantages.

Expected Better, But Time May Yield a Better Product
Comments: Shopify POS, at time of trial (2021) was not at a usable state for a retail business. Developed by a tech company without any real knowledge of brick & mortar retail operations, it is not nearly robust enough for a store with a sizeable inventory or services.
Pros:
Shopify POS is convenient for a small store with a very small product catalogue. Boutiques and cafes would be most appropriate.
Cons:
Had to use on an ipad w/ other specific hardware. It was rife with compatibility issues and half-baked features built on Shopify's piecemeal app system.
Great for instore orders.
Comments: Shopify POS has greatly helped to streamline our instore ordering process and saved a lot of pen and paper work.
Pros:
We use Shopify POS to manage our walk in orders, it links directly to our stock levels on our main site and is easy to use.
Cons:
Some apps don't integrate with POS so some products in which we have multiple options, that usually require an app, need to be input manually.
Savy, Trendy & Handy POS Software
Pros:
Shopify POS is my go-to POS software. I use it for almost all purchases. It's easy to scan digital cards, which is useful since most people have tap-to-buy phone capabilities.
Cons:
This software is regularly updated and secure. It doesn't have any growth areas in my opinion. It's perfect.
Great POS system
Comments: Since using shopify my business has run smoother and allowed me to grow
Pros:
Easy to use and integrate with other systems
Cons:
It's a bit expensive to start but more than pays for itself in the long run
Shopify review
Pros:
It has great tracking of sales, fulfills orders accurately
Cons:
It takes time to get inventory right. It has a delay.
Shopify helps to Sell-ify more items.
Comments: It is a very pleasant and easy experience, make a smooth process out of selling items. But I can't speak to the admin side of the app.
Pros:
Very easy to learn, especially if you have used any other point of sale applications. Take multiple forms of payment easy. Even tap credit cards or phones for payments.
Cons:
Not much to dislike. Occasionally it takes a little while for a transaction to fully process, but by and large everything works quickly.
Easy for on the go
Pros:
Easy to use on the go - at events and pop ups
Cons:
Sometimes the bluetooth takes a while to find the POS, but once set up, it works great

Pros:
I love that I can can have a point of sale at markets when selling my art
Cons:
I dislike having to pay for the product, as this is how I make money.

Easy POS to Streamline Retail Sales
Comments: Shopify POS is a powerful point-of-sale system designed for retail businesses. One of the biggest pros of the tool is its ease of use. It is user-friendly and easy to set up, making it accessible to a wide range of users. Additionally, Shopify POS supports a wide range of payment options, including credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payments, which makes it easy for customers to pay for their purchases.
Pros:
Easy to use: Shopify POS is user-friendly and easy to set up, making it accessible to a wide range of users.Multiple payment options: Shopify POS supports a wide range of payment options, including credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payments, making it easy for customers to pay for their purchases.Inventory management: Shopify POS includes inventory management features, allowing users to track stock levels, set reorder points, and generate purchase orders.
Cons:
Limited customization options: Shopify POS has limited customization options, which may be a concern for users looking to tailor the system to their specific needs.Limited reporting and analytics: Shopify POS's reporting and analytics capabilities are limited, which may make it difficult for users to gain insights into their sales and customer data.
Must have POS Software
Comments: Although there are some minor imperfections, I continue to utilize Shopify POS because it remains the most user-friendly point-of-sale solution for my business. Moreover, I find the pricing to be reasonable.
Pros:
Setting up and utilizing Shopify POS proved to be a fast and effortless process. Since I had already established my online store using Shopify, all I had to do was install Shopify POS on my iPhone, and I was ready to begin selling. The seamless integration between my store and the POS system for managing products, customers, and orders made the entire management process highly efficient.
Cons:
Honestly, I don't have any significant criticisms about Shopify. If I were to mention a minor drawback, it would be that not all features are included by default, and additional apps are required for certain functionalities unless you opt for Shopify Pro.
Shopify is by far the best shopping cart I've every used, and the POS is no exception.
Comments: It's constantly saving us money. With Shopify POS we don't have to spend anything extra for the POS support that connects into our existing shopping cart.
Pros:
VALUE. Shopify allowed us to have a free developer account to test and work through our hesitations before paying a penny for the cart. The POS system comes with the cart for free, it works flawlessly on any apple device, I haven't tried the android offering, but I'm sure it's great as well. The account comes with multiple logins for managing employees with specified permissions for keeping eyes and fingers out of places they shouldn't be. And to top it all off it has a fantastic API connection that allows us to connect it to our Fishbowl Inventory Management system, which brings in the orders from both cart and POS and sorts the inventory out, handles the shipping with shipstation, posts back tracking and fulfills the orders in shopify and all the while capturing all the financial data in QB. I could seriously fire multiple employees for all the time and work this automation is doing for me.
Cons:
If I had to complain it would be that there are some things you can't customize that you might be able to with one of the self hosted carts such as magento, woocommerce, or even magento 2.
Amazing POS solution for Shopify store owners
Comments: Overall experience is very satisfactory and does all the things that we have expected out of a POS system. I would definitely recommend it to someone who has an online Shopify store and a retail store to sync the data and leverage the power of Shopify in analytics, order management, and inventory management with multiple locations
Pros:
The most important feature of this product is it syncs the retail store orders with your online store and keeps the order management easy. It also takes care of payment processing and sales reports. We can use multi-location in Shopify to differentiate the inventory between the online store and the retail store.
Cons:
I have remembered that there were some issues/limitations on the Shopify side when it came to refunding some of the orders and we can't find the order by the customer name, in such scenarios, It could have been better when the customer don't have their credit card or email with them
Inventory sales
Pros:
Shopify is one of the best sets where a merchant can set his or her goods for sale this is just because it is easy to deal with and has experts to help in case of any challenge.
Cons:
It processes payments from different kinds of payment methods and also supports virtual payment methods.
Fantastic Product!
Comments: It has been so good! I have the ability to market world wide from Zimbabwe and the website never goes down.
Pros:
I find it very easy to use and their customer support is fantastic! I have had very few problems in the 8 years I have worked with them that they couldn't solve.
Cons:
I would like to say nothing but once in a while a template is a bit of a challenge but that may be more to do with my abilities than them.
Shopify work great for our online business
Pros:
Automatically creates orders from online orders and sends to the shipping team Integrates well with ship station Easy to process wholesale orders Keeps all the online sales data in one place with reports that are easy to use and understand customizable and easily handles lots of SKUs Easy to train new employees on
Cons:
Transaction fees in addition to subscription fees
Easy to use
Pros:
I like that Shopify POS is integrated with our Shopify website. If we sell something in store, it deducts it from our inventory online, which is very convenient. I don't have to worry about inventory being off.
Cons:
The thing I like the least about Shopify POS is that when I issue store credit to a customer, there is no way in the system to know who the store credit was issued to in the future. In other words, you have to keep track of it yourself.

Fantastic POS Software
Pros:
I love how this software is completely integrated with our Shopify e-com store. This allows me to sell my products at different pop-up events throughout the year. If I didn't have this, I'd be worried about trying to keep track of transactions, keep cash on hand, etc... This makes life easy and simple
Cons:
This sin't really a con, but I get worried sometimes that the internet might conk out on my phone. You can't process transactions unless you have a signal, so you're dependent on a good connection. I've been able to work through everything so far, but it is a little scary when it takes a couple of seconds to process a customer's transactions.
Pos fees Iffy........But good tracking System
Comments: They were our first pos program and were easy to signup for but please resesrch your option unlike we did.........
Pros:
Very organized on the payments processed
Cons:
Fees....Fees.....and more Fees simple as that!
Great Option for Our Business
Pros:
Shopify POS is our main POS system for a large retail space. Easy to use and train all staff. Easy to integrate with other systems.
Cons:
The Shopify shop is a bit too templated as well as the products. Need quite a few extensions to modify and customize products.
Great that it integrates with my website
Pros:
I love that it keeps the inventory accurate between the website and in person sales
Cons:
I have had issues with the hardware not working well or disconnecting. Make sure you have several backups.
Satisfied
Pros:
It makes it very easy for us to keep our inventory up to date while we are at events, and makes checking customers out very smooth.
Cons:
We seem to have issues with our Shopify card reader when we’re at events. It will quit working and then we have to manually enter card numbers, which takes longer and charges a higher fee.
One of the Best E-commerce Site
Pros:
Easy to use, free templates to choose from, works great with Amazon. Easy to customize with little web development knowledge.
Cons:
Free designs are limited. Could get real pricy if attractive templates. Sometimes the inventory management may not sync well.
Excellent E-Commerce Program
Pros:
We love everything about Shopify. It's easy to use. Allows us to check out customers at our retail store or out at an event when we use our iPad Mini.
Cons:
We had not had any real problems with Shopify. Occasionally when an update was done we had to change a couple settings.
