Great value for money

5.0 last year

Comments: Have never had a problem with the service, it's always been available. Customer service are great and always reply quickly.

Pros:

Zoho Assist is very easy to user with a great user interface. Remote sessions are east to setup and great to use.

Cons:

Soemtimes while using the remote support option, some Mac users find it hard to allow the needed permissions for the software to work. A video would be good explaining how to set this up.

Alternatives Considered: ConnectWise ScreenConnect and RealVNC Connect

Reasons for Choosing Zoho Assist: TeamViewer's cost was too expensive, the purchasing was awkward and their customer was so bad, to the extent that I found them very rude.

Switched From: TeamViewer Remote

Reasons for Switching to Zoho Assist: The cost was amazing when comparing the services offered and the price of competitors.

Zoho Assist is my go-to for helping my customers

5.0 2 months ago

Comments: I have used it many times to help people with a variety of tech issues. I like that I can do session notes so I can keep track of what I have done with the customer. It is fairly easy to guide people with little or no tech experience to get connected. Then once I am connected it is very easy to do whatever needs to be done.

Pros:

The thing I like most is that it just works seamlessly every single time.

Cons:

The initial setup of a connection is a little confusing for some of my customers but most times we are able to work through it.

Alternatives Considered: AnyDesk

Reasons for Choosing Zoho Assist: just got way too difficult to use as the customer's would easily get confused

Switched From: TeamViewer Remote

Reasons for Switching to Zoho Assist: didn't like anydesk, tried for 14 days and did not like it

Zoho Assist Review

3.0 last year

Comments: Overall, Zoho Assist got the job done. It was a great starter tool or back up tool for remote support.

Pros:

Zoho Assist is a great starter tool to get your IT department moving in the right direction. It allows you to remote in and work on any PC on your network.

Cons:

The functionality is limited compared to other tools. You have to install software on the PC you are working on in order to connect. I prefer a lightweight tool.

Great Product for beginners or old timers to use for remote IT support

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: I use this product to support my family and friends. I am their computer tech guy and they live all over the east coast. This is th best product by far for remote support i have found and i used to use Team Viewer. It seems evertime google comes out with a product it is better than the competition by far and they did not miss the mark with this. This allows me access to any machine unattended or not, so i can perform maintan3nce tasks, or emergency fixes. I have been using this product for over 4 years to support family, friends ,and customers alike and it is by far the most stable robust product I have ever used.

Pros:

Very easy to access, setup, understand and use.

Cons:

Cost is a little expensive but reasonable.

My 20 years experience of remote acces software.

4.0 6 months ago

Comments: I have been using Splashtop, Teamviewer, Logmein and VNC. For the pass 20 years as tools for remote access to my customers' computers. It's been a few months with Zoho Assist and the switch seem to be my next solution.

Pros:

#1 The wide range of devices compatibility. (Linux & Android) are not always there on other solution out there. #2 The quality of the connection and option for me to control them. #3 The ease of the installation for my costumers, #4 Support from Zoho in ANY of their app is better than any I have seen.(Call, email & Chat).

Cons:

#1Compare to other, the main page is not very intuitive. Lots of poking around before finding where everything is.#2 Lots of unused option remain there even if I don't have access to them. #3 Some menu seems redundant and could easily be merged into one.#4 The Zoho apps have ONE information in common in all of them "CONTACT INFORMATION" and yet in all of Zoho app there is no standard among them, regarding contact information. There is not even a Contact app to manage that common information about all Zoho tools.

Alternatives Considered: RemotePC, TeamViewer Remote, RealVNC Connect and AnyDesk

Reasons for Choosing Zoho Assist: Compatibility issue with Linux, more devices on Assist then Splashtop

Switched From: Splashtop

Reasons for Switching to Zoho Assist: Price, compatibility, ease of use, stability of the connection.

Just simple easy to use support software

5.0 7 months ago

Comments: Using Zoho Assist has been a transformative experience for our IT support operations. managing and troubleshooting IT issues remotely is crucial for our business continuity. Zoho Assist has consistently delivered in this regard.

Pros:

I have been using Zoho Assist for several months now, and I can confidently say it has significantly streamlined our remote support operations. As a CTO for a large retail client base, managing IT issues across multiple locations can be quite challenging. Zoho Assist has been a game-changer in this regard.

Cons:

While Zoho Assist is highly efficient and user-friendly, the only drawback we've encountered is the occasional latency during remote sessions. Although rare, these instances can slightly hinder the speed of troubleshooting. However, this minor issue doesn't overshadow the overall reliability and effectiveness of the platform

Alternatives Considered: Splashtop and AnyDesk

Reasons for Choosing Zoho Assist: Predominantly based on price and feature requirements of which Zoho provided more for lower total cost of ownership

Switched From: TeamViewer Remote

Reasons for Switching to Zoho Assist: Ease of use, functionality and price

Impressed with the tool

5.0 7 months ago

Comments: One of the most impressive aspects of Zoho Assist is its quick implementation. It takes only a few minutes to get it up and running. The installation process is streamlined as we used Intune to push it out to all devices. This rapid deployment means that our business can start benefiting from remote support capabilities without any significant downtime or disruption from moving away from Teamviewer.

Pros:

Sessions are stable, with minimal lag, ensuring that support tasks can be carried out efficiently. We liked the ability to file transfer, screen sharing, and chat, which enhance the overall support experience. Especially when users are having issues with Teams etc where the normal modes of communication don't work.

Cons:

Occasionally we don't get a connection to the end user first time. This is usually due to the device needing a reboot.

Alternatives Considered: ConnectWise ScreenConnect

Reasons for Choosing Zoho Assist: ZA was substantially cheaper than Teamviewer, whilst also adding a lot of extra features and quality of life improvements.

Pros:

How to not break the bank with remote assistance.

5.0 9 months ago

Comments: Zoho has been great, it functions as a tool that I don't have to worry about and don't feel I'm being gouged

Pros:

The cost to feature/function ratio is great. There are lot of features found in comparable more expensive solutions but available at a much more budget friendly package. The interface is intuitive and simple to navigate and understand vs other more costly solutions.

Cons:

Unattended agents sometimes go offline for short periods of time after intense troubleshooting sessions that require multiple reboots, connect, disconnects.

Alternatives Considered: TeamViewer Remote, AnyDesk and BeyondTrust Remote Support

Reasons for Choosing Zoho Assist: Cost and frustrating issues from support.

Switched From: LogMeIn Pro

Reasons for Switching to Zoho Assist: The way Zoho Assist handles multiple monitor setups was the second selling point next to ease of use.

Feature-packed and Affordable Solution

5.0 6 months ago

Comments: My experience was great! I appreciate that the software is not complicated...it was very easy to get up and running and help my team.

Pros:

The software is very easy to setup and use on both ends. The ability to do an instant session or schedule sessions is very helpful, particularly since a portion of our team resides in a different time zone. The deciding points for me regarding the Standard Edition were the ability to schedule sessions, screen share and document session notes. Zoho is feature-packed no matter what plan you select and is definitely affordable, which is important to me since we are a nonprofit organization.

Cons:

No cons for me. This was a simple solution that helped me troubleshoot a computer issue for a fellow staff member.

Alternatives Considered: TeamViewer Remote and AnyDesk

Reasons for Switching to Zoho Assist: Zoho Assist offered a free trial with a good amount of time for trying the software before committing to a one-year subscription and the pricing plans and features are very affordable once the trial is over.

Zoho Review after 30days of use.

5.0 6 months ago

Pros:

Zoho remote assist is very fast to connet even the remote computer is running with slow bandwith. In addition, the file transfer feature of Zoho is reliable with no transfer failures between computers. The oline and downtime feature under the admin center is highly required by any IT support person.

Cons:

1_Some computers when using the volume agent deployment tool of Zoho assist fail to connect even after being added to the list of computers. 2_Another challenge, some computers ask for further admin approval from remote computer even the agent tool has been deployed. 3)The zoho assist app launches very slowly.

Alternatives Considered: AnyDesk

Reasons for Choosing Zoho Assist: Agent deployment by Zoho is much easy compared to the other products. In addition, Zoho prices are way better.

Switched From: TeamViewer Remote

Reasons for Switching to Zoho Assist: Zoho gives interface is able to provide an audit log of connections which the alternative doesn't give.

Hands down easiest remote assist in unattended mode. On-demand is great for tech savvy customers too!

5.0 6 months ago

Comments: Have been using the product for 8 years without incident. I have agents that have been installed and active for years now and it's a very small file and low system performance impact.

Pros:

It just works. It's super easy to use and easy to install and get active. I use both the unattended and the on-demand with great success.

Cons:

I don't really have any cons, but if there were one, it's that the company doesn't push to always be immediately verified with Windows Defender, so sometimes the assist app gets flagged and auto-deleted, so then I have to explain to customers how to select the "keep anyway" thing.

Alternatives Considered: TeamViewer Remote, Splashtop and LogMeIn

Reasons for Switching to Zoho Assist: Price and ease of use were so much better with Zoho.

Zoho Assist: A must-have for MSPs

5.0 last year

Comments: Zoho Assist is an excellent product that facilitates remote unattended support. A must-have for any MSP.

Pros:

Zoho Assist is easy to use and deploy. The multi-screen live preview makes it easier for the technician to see pop-ups on other screens. The additional tools available on point-and-click, such as Control Panel and Event Viewer, are a timer saver feature. The audit logs and timer make it easier to keep track of support activities.

Cons:

There is always room for improvement. Zoho Assist has a vote-based roadmap to add the most popular and needed features.

Reasons for Choosing Zoho Assist: Better price and better end-user support experience.

Excellent tool for small IT consulting companies.

5.0 5 months ago

Comments: My experience has been great. Easy to buy, easy to use, cost effective and does exactly what is advertised. I think it's one of the most flexible out there and really has suited my needs for many years.

Pros:

Cost effective, completely cross platform, ability to have adhoc service events as well as planned. Very easy to have end users install through a link or email. The main reason for me to use Zoho Assist was the flexibility for unlimited adhoc sessions. I do consulting, and not so much of routine managed services. Other tools pushed me to buy seat licenses and more than I needed. Zoho fit perfectly.

Cons:

Sometimes people with aggressive ad-blockers or some content filtering tools don't like the Zoho domain, but it's easy enough to work around through a standard email link.
