I’m in the same boat with knowing if it’s really secure and I won’t get hacked or get my account suspended

What I like the least about telegram is that I can't seem to figure out how to keep my camera on. It needs to be held and can't set it down.

This app is the den of scammers and i had to stop using it for a while to protect my sanity because most spammers also use it for their nefarious activities but sadly because its a decentralized app any one can build bot around it which are then used for the most rediculous spammy activititoes known to man.

The app might be too loose as, it may have a free for all aspect. Sometimes the search provides unnecessary groups.

When i download videos from telegram it very slow downloading it takes alot of time and after some time it got deleted

It has limited information when it comes to searching bar

There are many things this software needs to do to improve itself. First, navigation is HORRIBLE!! It's so impossibly difficult to navigate through all the groups and personal chats to find relevant chats. Some of which were buried for weeks and I didn't even realize it. How about some sort of organizing feature? This alone NEEDS TO HAPPEN or I will look elsewhere for a better chatting software. Second, there are sooooo many scams and fake accounts on this app that I seriously wonder how many people have lost money here or had their lives wrecked. I for one have already lost thousands of dollars in scams that I thought would be legit vendors. Turns out, they just shut down their account and start a new one... Tried to contact support about this but... where is support? Shouldn't it be easy to get support help on this software, especially after they tried to raise $1B+ for cryptocurrency token? Comon... this should be the FIRST thing in any business. Users, how can we determine who is fake and who isn't? Some of my groups have sooo many spam/scammers posting shill's that I literally had to hire someone to create a bot to ban the spammers for me. And managing my own groups, I can only see so far down the list of who is in the group? Why can't I see everybody?? I want to contact each group member and it only shows a fraction of them. It's not visually appealing or easy to navigate. It feels like a software built in the early 2000's to be honest.

It's used by a plenty of scammers, who open groups and claim that they help people improve financially, and ask them to transfer money first and then after that they block them and proceed with scamming other new members in those groups.

This app is less used by my friends. Since it is not an application that we are not familiar with, I do not have the urge to come all the time. My notifications are therefore turned off.

Sometimes the app doesn't send me push notifications and I actually have to open the app and be on it to recieve messages. It also doesn't let you know if the person you're talking to is online which is a bummer but there is more positive about this network than negative which is why I use it.

It will make better if something improvement in user interface due to it looks more attractive and sometimes it continues notification to much annoying.

Its overall visuals and UI could be made a little more user friendly.

The one thing I hate about Telegram is the absolutely pathetic video calling quality. You cannot do that without ripping your hair out. The tech team really needs to step up their game if they want to beat their competitors.

I didn't find anything to dislike about this. And also I highly recommend this applications to others who are looking for a tool that supports both communication and transfer of large files. Telegram supports transfer of large files up to 1.5 gb. That is one of the best feature.

The look and feel, customization should be there, only two themes are there dark and light. security is enabled but too many spam groups are there, at time it become tough to understand which one is the safest one. Chances of hacking is there, I saved few messages in past but 2-3 months back after an update I am unable to view those messages, also after update app it was working bit crazy, no code was been send, had to switch off my device and then it worked fine.

Does not allow me to share my business stories on my status, where all my different clients can see at once.its functionality is determined by how good my network is.

Issues of security, while it does allow for a very wide variety of use because it can be so open your devices could be susceptible to malware especially if your participate in large groups with people you don’t know

Easy to get perminently and wrongfully banned. I am banned right now. No customer support to fix. They allow scam pages/rooms to steal money dispite all my complaints.They allow scammers to close accounts and make new onces continuing their scams on new vicytims. I have lost THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS from scammers on TG!!

Cons are not that big, all about Telegram is very cool There are too many glitches with web.telegram.org (web version of telegram app) not opening. Reply gesture while in chat is reverse to that of WhatsApp, it makes it unusual for new users AND BIGGEST CON - No Dark Mode support yet, Please bring it soon.

Sometimes it is a bit slow, since it requires having a good Internet connection to work well, since I have seen that when I enter the application, it says that it connects and takes a few minutes to update, they should optimize it a bit and add new functions To make it work much better.

Emojis are too big and overcooked sometimes are not good to be used

There are so many scammers on the platform even though they always tag those groups as scams and they do not have an avenue to display status
