All these perks in one place - Yes, It's worth every penny, and our clients agree. Plus this is a crew that listens to you and cares - you can't strike that with other apps all that often.

Pros:

It's your company's white-glove service extension, and they are your partner in security/document management/client messaging. They offer consistent support to you and your team. Liscio delivers an astounding product and service that clients appreciate! Security, mobile texting notifications, messaging, and document signing/storage, all at your fingertips. It's a no-brainer, and it's why we invested in this product. They keep us compliant. Integrations to google drive, zoom, and others work well. Looking forward to more enhancements from the team.

Liscio, Liscio, Liscio

Comments: Incredibly positive from the very beginning. Highly recommend!

Pros:

We love Liscio for so many reasons. It's secure, it's reliable, WE CAN FIND OUR FILES, we have an amazing CSR and have had the same person for more than 2 years. He is so helpful and always has time for our questions. Our clients love using Liscio as do our team members. It's been a great move for our company. It's saved administrative time and so much money!

Cons:

They are rolling out new features all the time and we have been very happy with the new things they introduce.

Great starter portal but data backup ended up being a deal breaker

Comments: It's a good software for someone starting out with a client portal product. It helps establish some templates and some good habits towards consistent client communication and keeping client data in one place. It served my needs well until I needed more robust data backups.

Pros:

I loved that it helped me reduce the many different ways that clients contacted me and pulled all communications into one place. It took a little effort to train myself and my clients to switch over, but it helped me develop good habits and a strict communication policy.

Cons:

Lack of organization in file storage and complete lack of ability to perform backups. They use a tagging system instead of folder and file structure and that's fine in the short term. Over time, it becomes completely unwieldy. They say that the lack of ability to perform a data backup is a security feature of the software, but over time I've discovered that's what they say anytime their software lacks a feature. They've also been slow to implement features that competing software has and I eventually switched to one of those competitors. It is a little bit of a nightmare moving my client files from their platform because no matter how meticulously I tagged files for proper sorting, the file download pulls everything into one bucket of everything and even just selecting all of the files to download takes way too much time. Now I have the fun task of viewing and sorting every single file ever. I could select tags and data dump more selectively, but that would take even more time and no way to know that every file was caught.

Liscio IS THE BEST!!!

Comments: LOVE LISCIO!!!! Liscio has the ability to organize you so effectively, that you will feel like you have more time on your hands just with this organizational approach. I spend less time "figuring out what to do" and more time taking care of my clients "urgent" needs.

Pros:

The process to move to Liscio was seamless, easy, and almost fun. It saves me time, it saves me having to use multiple products to organize the company, and I LOVE what is has done to assist my customers in receiving quicker feedback, organized discussions instead of emails that get lost or sent to spam. The highlight is ORGANIZATION and EASE PLUS PERFECT COMMUNICATION.

Cons:

There is very little that this software is missing from the basics of organization. I look forward to when they can create a way to take a message and auto create a task from it, as well as take a completed assigned task and make it into a new to do task.

Compliance, Security and Client Communication - all in one product

Comments: This app is an integral part of my workflow. I use it as my practice management tool as well as for client communication and document storage.

Pros:

In my firm, it all comes down to securely moving documents and communication with my clients. Liscio does all of that and then some. I am able to share documents with my team. We can assign our clients tasks. I love how I can tag documents and find them quickly. My clients also find Liscio easy to use. I work with attorneys and law firms so data security is my #1 concern. This one app allowed me to remove 2 apps from my app stack. It is constantly evolving and getting better, Their support team is the best! Some of my clients like to use texting. Liscio supports messaging securely through texting too.

Cons:

I did not like the emails that came when I email within the platform. But one phone call to support and they shut off that feature.

Saved me time and money

Comments: Liscio has let me communicate with my clients more easily by notifying them where they want to be notified. Most of my clients get a text when I send them anything and it helps them to get back to me more quickly. The file size limit is also so large that I have not had an issue uploading training videos for clients as well as large data files.

Pros:

Liscio has helped me communicate with my clients so much better. It was easy to implement and my clients didn't have any issues getting on board.

Cons:

The only issue I have with it as a bookkeeper is that some of the fields on the client profile are more CPA-focused but it has not affected how I use it at all.

Pros:

At EBS we love Liscio. We like the collaboration it brings to our team, that we aren’t mired in email communication with our clients, and that it’s a secure way to store docs!

Cons:

The only con is that [SENSITIVE CONTENT] isn’t our customer service rep for all vendors we work with. He has helped us along every step of the way and is incredibly responsive!

Great Security And Easy to Use

Comments: Our clients know that we are careful with their information but adding Liscio to our business gives us a higher level of security. I feel much more confident when I talk about our services since starting with Liscio.

Pros:

As the sales director of our accounting firm, the security feature really helps in the sales process. People now, more than ever are thinking of security as a high priority. And so are we! Liscio gives me extra confidence when I am talking to prospective clients because I know that their information will be safe. Our accountants love it because it makes it easier to communicate between offices.

Cons:

There's nothing I don't like about Liscio. There is a bit of a learning curve, but the customer support is outstanding. I never feel like I'm bothering anyone with my questions.

Liscio Is a Great Document Management System

I like how impressive this document management system has been. Liscio has been so reliable.

Liscio is a powerful document management system. No issues about Liscio.

My experience with it

Pros:

It's a good software that I like because of its ease of use, its clear and user-friendly interface and the diversity of its functionalities.

Cons:

Good software since I have been using it I have not had any problems yet it works perfectly even with its free trial

Good for one person firms, not for firms with any type of team or contractors

Comments: There are a lot of things that need improving if they want consumers to stay, but it is a great price of software for individual firms. They just don’t seem to be improving the software at the rate needed to fill the problems firms are facing with the software.

Pros:

I did like that Liscio was easy to use and has an app for clients. The cost is pretty comparable to competitors, but I did like that if you had a contractor, Liscio did not charge you for an extra seat for seasonal or per job help (of paying annually).

Cons:

I have been using Liscio since May 2021, and in that time they only “improved” about 3 features. The fact that Liscio doesn’t seamlessly communicate amount team members when something was handled is a huge pain point. We wasted so much time having EACH team member open messages to see if it was Hal fled because there was no way to know if someone else handled something. Also, there is no email integration to allow emails to be brought in that clients send that other team members may need to see. It honestly causes a huge bottleneck in our firm as I am trying to delegate work.

Outstanding Client Management Software

Comments: We use Liscio as a client management and team collaboration tool. We were able to streamline and organize our workflows better, save time and at the same to offer clients an easy-to-use platform.

Pros:

Liscio is the best software for our client facing and team collaborating communications needs. It is easy to use, which is very important, because our clients would otherwise not accept and use the software. The fully searchable document storage is a time saver and keeps us organized. Tasks and e-docs help us to stay on track. Adobe sign is a built in feature for documents we need signed in real time. Email integration adds to speed up and streamline workflows and procedures. Liscio's customer service is outstading and extended to our clients. This was our best software implementation that we have made in a long time, and we are looking for new features to be added that will help our practice management.

Cons:

There is nothing at this point that I would not like or suggest to be improved.

Well worth it!

Comments: Liscio is so much easier for our clients to use than the previous product we utilized. As just an online platform for client communication and document sharing, we receive far less communication from clients regarding issues with accessing or navigating than we did before. The mobile app makes it even more appealing.

Pros:

The messaging feature is what I like the most, hands down. The message threads are easy to follow and anyone on our team can access them, even if they are not a part of the thread. No more having emails stuck in someone's inbox or trying to follow an email chain that multiple people have responded to.

Cons:

My least favorite thing about this software is that it doesn't work in our cloud environment so we are not able to fully use the software. There are features that we are missing out on because of this.

Review for Liscio

Comments: Security is a huge issue. Email today is an environment that allows criminals to trick us into thinking we are getting an email from someone we know. With most of our communication with clients going through Liscio, I can see interactions my team has had with clients without endless email strings. Being able to share documents, get signatures, and collaborate with clients within the same platform has helped us tremendously. Clients being able to download the app to their smartphone and take pictures of their document and upload to Liscio which converts document to PDF has saved us a lot of time, and it is much more secure than email.

Pros:

Very easy to get up and running with this platform. Lots of video tutorials. Support is very responsive to questions and provide documents that will assist in using Liscio better. Enhancements continue to be made just since we have been on board for just under a year ago. They really listen to feedback and seem to constantly work to make it better.

Cons:

Sometimes the integration features with other applications can be buggy, but support is responsive and are willing to do what it takes to remedy the situation.

Overall Great Product

Comments: Overall I enjoy and appreciate what Liscio has done for our firm. It is not ok to simply email things, and even for non-sensitive information, having one location where all documents come in helps keep email from being overloaded, which helps tremendously in and of itself.

Pros:

Ease of implementation for both my firm and my clients

Cons:

I feel like for the basic document sharing, it is super easy and straightforward, but outside of that, it isn't as intuitive where we can on-the-fly implement the various features I'm sure we're not even using or getting value from yet. An example is how to share a document from a message with only an employee of the firm once it comes in. Is there an auto CC feature we can implement? I don't know yet, I have to do some more training. That isn't the fault of Liscio, though.

MY CLIENTS AND MYSELF ARE SO HAPPY

Comments: So far Liscio has be awesome, i have never recieved so much positive feedback from clients so fast. I had a client actually say "Can’t thank you enough for getting this Liscio system Sam. You have just reduced my anxiety 100%. :) " , he has always had issues with any other file share system and with this one he loved it. Clients who have over 5+ business said Liscio is so nice and organized it will make it easy for them to keep their files on track!
I still need some training which liscio is more than happy to do for me and others, just haven't had a chance yet, but once i do i know im going to love this even more.
DO NOT HESITATE to get Liscio, i was so nervous to make the wrong choice but i am so happy now :)

Pros:

- easy to set up - very simple look, which makes it easy for clients to learn -all of our accounts are set up nicely -easy to fix contacts, plus share files -easy to set up additional users

Cons:

- not being able to send an actual "text" , the text is nice but just another way of notification - the email invitation i would like to be able to customize

Works Great!

Comments: This has been (and continues to be) a great working experience with my rep. and the company. I look forward to a long and lasting relationship with them.

Pros:

This is a tremendous help onboarding new clients, and initiating responses from all of my clients. The security of working with it generates positive responses from my clients, too. They get my inquiries, etc. from their mobile app.

Cons:

I would like to have the ability to keep my original onboarding documents intact, while being able to customize it to each individual client. Right now, if I make a change to the engagement letter, it does not revert back to the original document.

Permanent software for our tech stack

Comments: Liscio helps me securely be in contact with my clients and makes it easy for them to scan and upload documents with their phone.

Pros:

It was easy to start using Liscio with my firm. When I explain why I chose it for security and ease of use with mobile devices, my clients are happy to use it.

Cons:

I wish I could apply tags to messages too instead of just files, because messages can sometimes be hard to find what you need. But they are going to improve some aspects of this soon.

Pros:

The fact that it's transparent for all staff and it's easy to use

Cons:

There seems to be too many options for file sharing, clients and staff are not sure which way to get share documents. There is not a 'settings' option for contacts. Not all contacts need access to all the information and/or documents shared on the account.

Liscio is the Best!

Comments: The Liscio Team is the best. They continue to develop the software to make it a better product. The customer service is the greatest!

Pros:

Liscio has so many great features! Security is a big one that I appreciate.

Cons:

I wish there was a texting feature so we could send a direct text to a client.

Liscio- Strange name, fantastic client-facing communication/storage tool!

Pros:

Liscio makes client acceptance of new software easier than any other type of document storage/communication tool we have used. Clients can even go directly to the staff at Liscio if they need help with it. Additionally, suggestions to improve the product are not only welcomed, they are encouraged! The YouTube channel is great. The trainers are engaging and quite funny. I could go on...

Cons:

Generally, any issue I have with Liscio turns out to be a user issue and not a software issue. Even if it is software related, customer support is quick to resolve issues and keep clients updated.

Easy to use, security

Comments: We are glad to have made the decision although it took us a long time to make the change.
Now, we set the expectations with our new clients ahead of time on how we communicate and exchange information.

Pros:

I truly like the security it offers when it comes to exchanging confidential information with clients. Also, I enjoy the use of templates because it allows us to save time during repetitive tasks and documents.

Cons:

I don't like the fact that I cannot incorporate my logo and signature on the messages.

A Great Choice

Comments: We are solving security and communication issues. We are also using it to consolidate our CRM, file storage, and productivity softwares into one place.

Pros:

It is easy to use, the customer service team is phenomenal, and rolling out the service to our clients was exceptionally easy. It was super easy to send out our engagement letters for the 2019 tax season and have people onboard as they received the letters. It also does not link to email which allows us to communicate securely and efficiently with our clients. The app is a great touch for younger clients as well.

Cons:

It is a newer software and some features that I would like to see are not yet there. Additionally it doesn't link to email (which is a GREAT thing for security, but a bit difficult for some of our clients to get on board with).
